I came with my friend and they were so accommodating to both of us, which I really appreciated. Everyone was nice, the service was great, and I genuinely felt like it was worth every penny. I try to support new businesses and have given this shop multiple times to get it right but they are very unprofessional. Do not go here unless you want to get ripped off and leave with bug bites. I used to recommend this place to multiple people, but after how Tina (the manager) handled my situation, I am never coming back. To start, the cleanliness of the salon is awful. The lobby area is disgusting - it is full of gnats and tiny mosquitoes, and I literally left the salon with bug bites from just sitting there waiting during my last appointment. The service itself is extremely low quality for the price. I've had issues in the past with their nails popping off completely, and the techs don't even go all the way to the cuticles, forced services, attitudes, 1 hour soak offs. On top of that, the pedicure staff consistently give nasty, uncomfortable looks. The pricing is entirely dishonest. I was charged $50 for a color change on one occasion. Recently, I arrived with my nails already filled, shaped, and fully prepped. I only needed a basic French tip polish. Tina did the service herself. At checkout, I was shocked by a $70 base total before tip. When I messaged two weeks later after checking my statement for a breakdown - as I was in a rush that day, I was told it was $40 for gel and $30 for a "deep French." Their own menu explicitly lists French starting at $20. When I sent a screenshot of their menu calling out the uncommunicated 50% markup, Tina tried to excuse it by saying it's the customer's responsibility to ask for the price beforehand if they want to know it. Because the high total caught me off guard at the register, I accidentally authorized a $15 tip on the screen. When I explained the mistake and asked for the tip back, Tina refused, and told me to "part ways." As if I was ever planning on returning. I'd recommend going somewhere else in DTLA that actually has upfront pricing, clean stations, and respects loyal clients. read more

The salon called me and told me that there weren't any staff members available even though I booked my appointment week before and confirmed it the day before. Very unprofessional staff with an attitude to match, save your money and go to somewhere they're going to respect you and treat you like a decent customer. One of my favorite things about this salon is that they offer after-hours appointments, which is perfect if you work late and still want to get your nails done. The customer service was immaculate from the moment I walked in--they offered me water right away and even had a wine menu.
