I decided to swing by since I was in the area and looking for some cake...no they don't have cake here but they do have cupcake lol and it was for a event that Fishcake in Kaka'ako had was "Take one leave one...but make it cake". Where we trade trinkets and bring cake where they provided plates and utensils but we had to cut the cake so instead I thought of bringing something already cut for convenience Banana Bread :) oh yes and with chocolate chips it was either that or cupcakes, brownies or cookies lol why bother stray from the usual and bring a yummy treat. Well that have that and so much more than I realize if it was cupcakes it would probably be green tea, lilikoi, pistachio...maybe strawberry lemonade or German chocolate omg the selection is quite incredible and I wasn't prepared for it. Here is his background thats is listed on his website... Chef James A Davidson was born and raised in a New Jersey suburb of New York City. He attended the prestigious "Culinary Institute of America" in Hyde Park New York and spent time at "Cordon Bleu" in Paris. After graduation he spent a couple of years in the kitchens of the East Coast then heard the call of The Islands". James moved to Hawaii in 1986 and perfected his pastry skills at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, Kahala Hilton and Royal Hawaiian Hotels. He was then asked to open the Black Orchid restaurant. We ordered a 3 tier cake and sent him the picture shown, he spoke as if his cake would be way more beautiful. 4 days vefore our wedding day I called to give him our order for chicken we ordered and I asked if I could have a 2 teir cake in stead (to cut down cost) he told me No because my cake was already done. The pictures I uploaded were taken by my sister right after he dropped it off, it looked nothing like the picture I sent him and the cake was burnt!!! Luckily only my immediate family were served the cake and they immediately informed me that it was burnt and hard and not to serve it to anyone else. Here is the worst part of it all! I sent him text messages with pictures and asked him to give me a call and I left him 3 voice mails over the course of 2 weeks and he never ever tried to contact me! I am a very reasonable person, I wouldnt have asked for my $280 back, I probably would have asked for half of my money back. If my cake was done 4 days before my wedding wouldnt he have had lots of time to make a bew and not burnt one? Its been a year since my wedding and it still hurts me to think about this, I dont want any bride to have to go through this. Save yourself from this heartache and nightmare that I went through!!!!

"Mandy" is Mandy Suganuma, the radio personality from KSSK radio station. She has a wonderful voice over the airwaves and has a charming, friendly demeanor in person! Mandy was invited to the Saint Stephen Church Bazaar in Nu'uanu on the Pali Highway on Saturday, June 27, 2026. It was a convenient place for my friends and I to park and shop! We bought a lot of goodies! My friend scooped up the last Triple Chocolate cake, so I did the 3 for $33 deal (each pan is $12, so I saved a dollar on each pan). I got the last Apple Crisp, a Blueberry Lemon Pound Cake, and a Glazed Cinnamon Roll Coffee Cake. OMG... Each one was rich, moist, and buttery! Yummy! I also got the Mochi Crunch Popcorn and the Dilly Ranch Pretzels because I enjoy crunchy, savory foods! Mmm! The 3 for $21 deal was too good to pass up... instead of paying $8 each. I got two packs of Lemon Bars and one pack of Lilikoi Bars. Nom nom nom! I shared these treats with my niece, sister, and brother-in-law. They really liked Mandy's Munchies, too.
