When we went the line was out the door as the customer area is tiny inside but it adds to the ambiance. We tried two pastries, can't recall the exact names - a peach and almond danish and a cinnamon bun. The peach danish but flaky and buttery. The peach flavor could have been a bit stronger but the danish was well made. The cinnamon bun was just live a cinnamon roll center without the icing but the custard in the middle was delicious. Excited to go back and get a load of bread. Prices were as expected.

My visit was during the morning rush so there was a line to order but aside from it allowing me more time to choose my breakfast treats, I was also able to watch the baker pulling out fresh bread from the oven. It's truly a working bakery. The blue and white exterior is very eye catching as you arrive in the area and the warm natural color tones inside the bakery are soothing and elegant. The staff who took my order, as well as the one who made my coffee order, were very friendly and calm, despite having a decent line of eager customers hoping what they wanted wasn't taken by the customers before them. Tight quarters inside so not really a place to sit and savor your selections but they do have seating outside, in a patio area next door. If you purchase loaves of bread, you are able to have it sliced! I'm looking forward to trying the bread next time I'm in town. Definitely add this place to your next visit to Athens!

Seating was a bit limited but we were able to score a few spots at a communal table so we could do a few computer-y things while we were eating and caffeinating. I also love grabbing beans from coffee shops I visit on the road and I definitely went back and grabbed a bag of their roasts before we left. It was that good!

Not only do the cakes look stunning but the flavor and texture of the cakes are absolutely phenomenal. I've been using them for every special occasion and birthday party for me and my daughter for over nine years. I can honestly say I will never go anywhere else. My personal favorite and the flavor I get the most compliments on at all my parties is the vanilla cake it reminds me of angel food cake but more dense giving it the perfect cake texture and flavor. The cake isn't overly sweet so the sweetness of the icing compliments it very well making for the perfect bite every time. I also love the pink champagne cake. It's a gorgeous pink cake with an almost bubbly flavor with the tastiest fluffiest icing. I'm for real obsessed. They also do cookies and cupcakes in an assortment of flavors that you can order or find in their case each day so yummy! The hummingbird, pink champagne, the Italian and the s'mores cupcakes are our favorites and ones we always pick up for a little treat when we are in Athens. It took me a while to get a drink. Started with some tapas, the mushrooms, the potato's and the dates. The mushrooms were good but over battered. Could even tell you were eating mushrooms. The potatoes were not fully soft and lacked salt and flavor. The tomato spread on top also lacked flavor. The dates and manchengo cheese was just werid in presentation and hard to eat. We had to order bread, not something I'm used to especially with the tapas. Ordered the branzino for 2. Others ordered the steak and pork chops. The steak came out cold and the pork chop was overcooked. The branzino was nice, but the sides were cold. One of our party ordered another beer which he did not get until I summoned the manger over. We were immediately seated an enjoyed cocktails -- I had their version of a margarita. It was smokey but not overpowering. My friend enjoyed the sangria. For our entree we split the short rib which was perfect since it normally comes with two pieces. It was so flavorful and delicious. We didn't sty for dessert since we had a GymDawgs meet to get to and they seemingly didn't have a chocolate option. Great service. Great food and great drinks.
