We confirmed a viewing appointment a couple days ahead, and I drove down from San Francisco to meet him and his client. 15 minutes after our schedules time, I contacted him to see if they were still coming, and it was only then that he said that he forgot to tell me they needed to cancel. A wasted 2 hour trip in the middle of a work day for me, and a belated apology from him. I'm glad he found his client a place to live, but his (apparently repeated) lack of professional courtesy as a representative of The Right Move Group would make me think twice before engaging this company's services.

The experience of my sister is not that great with this group. She rented a Master bedroom at a…read moreproperty. She was not told that a big sized Dog also lived in the property. While nothing happened my sister was constantly scared of the dog coming and licking her and stuff. No disrespect to the dog - i think thats quit natural but hiding this when signing a lease is breach of trust. Few weeks later she had serious health issues ( completely irrelevant to the pet), she was twice in ER in Hospital and managed to survive. I decided to get her to my home for looking after her fragile health. Not to mention that her room mates were stealing her food without her consent... We requested the Agent to refund us the security deposit on above grounds (health and lack of transparency at the time of signing lease) but for 3 weeks no response. Finally after several attempts, a letter was mailed saying security deposit is taken by the group and will not be returned. I asked them what is the process to appeal but no response. I requested a middle path of compromise, but no response. So much for being a professional group. And yes now that i know, by no means, my sister would have qualified for the rental based on her low income, a cue to potential property owner as to how they run their business !

We were lucky to find Phil after many months of house searching with no luck. We were literally…read moreabout to give up when we decided to reach out to Phil and try putting a single offer on a house with him -- if we didn't get it accepted, we would take a break from the house hunt. Unbelievably, Phil got the job done on our one and only offer made with him. It was a multi-offer situation and we were adamant on not going higher in price, but Phil pulled through with his negotiations with the seller. His team helped take care of us through the rest of the process, making it a breeze for us as first time buyers. At times, it was so quiet that we were worried someone was dropping the ball, but the team was working in the background to get things done the whole time. Overall, our short period working with Phil was phenomenal. He's extremely responsive by text, can spot good deals, and is willing to answer any question you might have. He'll let you know exactly what he thinks without toeing around. I will say that if you're looking for much more hand holding during the process, we didn't have as much of that with Phil but it worked out for us because we gained enough experience with our prior agent to be able to more confidently look through houses ourselves. I'd work with him again.

Nail holes from staging on walls were filled sloppily (white caulk on colored walls, mismatch on white walls, zero sanding or paint left behind marks all over). Overflowing trash bins and old furniture/dead plants left behind. Even keys to the garage and shed were missing, zero followup. Expect better from a multi-million transaction and tens of thousands in agent fees- once they get their cut they don't care anymore.
