Bobby came over and really educated me on my concrete and how I could improve the health of it and prolong the life of it. He was really friendly and worked super efficiently. Start to finish with the whole process he really payed attention to detail. The ending result of my garage was better than I had even imagined. It was a work of art. I would definitely recommend Concrete Illusions to anyone who's thinking of doing any concrete resurfacing. With any house that my family end up living in, Bobby at Concrete Illusions is going to be my first call. read more

I hired Concrete Illusions to refinish my garage floor in Aug. 2022. Bobby was great at explaining how the process works and invited me to a nearby site where they were doing a garage floor so I could see how it all worked. Liked what I saw, hired them and my job was done a few weeks later. Couldn't be happier! I recently reached out to Bobby again to consult on refinishing my patio slab after years of stain and actual concrete erosion problems. Once again invited to a nearby site where they were doing this exterior process around a homeowner's pool deck. What a difference! So I hired them again for my patio slab upgrade. My job was recently completed and again I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Bobby is very personable, professional and goes the extra distance to offer choices and thoroughly explain everything to ensure all is understood and the job done right. I highly recommend Concrete Illusions and in fact have referred him/his company to others. Thank you once again Bobby for a job well done. read more

Run, run away fast. The real illusion here is that Bobby is running a business at all. He seems to know very little about concrete refinishing/polishing. We were in a bind on timing and decided to agree to Bobby's high price just to get the job done. The communication and scheduling were difficult as Bobby is awkward and uncomfortable on the phone. He did show up on the job to do the work and handed me a 9 page contract effectively eliminating his liability, scope of work and even the timeframe that we had agreed on. When I told him that I will need to sit down and really look at the agreement, he called for his guys to put everything back in the truck and leave because he was 'uncomfortable'. And POOF he was gone! I have never seen a contractor act with less spine or ethics. We promptly hired Concrete Grafix in Ventura. Jimmy was great, on time and finished early for a better price. It was magic. #0stars read more

First I want to say I am disappointed. The reason why... After only nine months the dye is almost completely gone in spots. When we had our conversation the owner told me it could scratch and I was ok with that. I paid over 2000.00 for my floor and it hasn't lasted a year. I sent him a txt with a picture of how it currently looks and he told me I had soft concrete and I could give him ANOTHER 1500.00 to fix it. Yikes!!! I don't think he's a bad guy but I feel he should have fixed them with no additional charge. I will post a picture so you can see the before and after. I was hoping he would fix the problem before I wrote an update but it has been several weeks and he has yet to contact me. read more

Bobby and his team did an amazing job placing epoxy on our garage floor. I'm giving five stars for not only the quality of work, but for his professionalism and ease of doing businesss with. I read the other reviews and seriously confused why there were poor reviews...Bobby was nothing but great to work with AND he came highly recommended by a local builder in moopark. Thanks Bobby for taking care of us. The floor looks amazing!!! read more

Our business, Red Barn Market on Ventura Ave., needed new flooring after an unfortunate fire. We were considering different types of flooring when Bobby came in and suggested polished concrete flooring, explaining the considerably lower costs in upkeep when compared to tile flooring that we had previously. He offered a to take time our of his schedule to do a sample for us, free of charge. He did so and we were so pleased with the results that we hired him on the spot. Bobby and his crew were absolutely wonderful. They were punctual, knowledgeable, and tidy, not to mention accommodating with our hectic and crowded construction schedule. They began and wrapped up the 4000 sq.ft job on the exact dates they promised and our floors look AMAZING. He recommended great products for maintenance and has been following up with us every step of the way. We truly couldn't be happier with our much needed new flooring and we have Bobby and his awesome crew to thank for it. If you want to see an example of their excellent work, come on down to our store and check it out! read more

After spending much time mulling over their website photos and concrete design options, and basically deciding they were the ones we wanted, no return calls, nothing. Not even a call to say they were over-booked. The business looks good online but in real life they were non-responders. Too bad, we were ready. read more

It took so many phone calls and texts to even get them to come look at my home that I thought about throwing in the towel before the meeting. Then the owner "Bobby" couldn't make it and sent an "assistant" They said they would give me a quote via e-mail in the next couple of days - that was 3 weeks ago. Unless you like being blown off - don't even bother calling. read more

By far one of THE best companies out there! We had the garage floor done over a year ago. The quality is superb. I love that they actually respond to calls/emails and keep their word on when they will show up and at what time. If for some reason they are running late they are courteous enough to call you and let you know this. Not like other contractors you have to chase or wonder if you should file a missing person report on. The work is COMPLETELY PROFESSIONAL. They came in did the work, and were not messy about it. the pricing in my opinion is very reasonable. I have nothing but good things to say about this company. Would use them again in a heartbeat! We get many compliments on our garage floor. For the people who appreciate doing business with actual PROFESSIONAL people this is the company for you. read more

I contacted Bobby over a year ago to do the huge floors on my 10,000 ft.² warehouse. It wasn't even built out yet but he recommended that I do the floors before the builders started. After I was totally built out they were going to go back and finish the job filling in any dents, scratches or areas where they had to take up the flooring to install plumbing. Once the building was completed Bobby returned once to fill in some of the areas but still did not deal with a lot of the chips and dents that happened during building or one small concrete area in the back as I understood he promised. After spending over $30,000 we still have a floor that's unfinished in spots. I have since recommended him to a number of our customers because initially I was so happy with the quality of the flooring. It never occurred to me that he wouldn't finish the job. After talking to him he mentioned that it cost more than he thought and he couldn't afford to go back and he considered the job done. If I wanted him to fill in the rest of the areas it was gonna cost me another $1200.I thought I was paying a fair amount of money to have a completed floor. I really like Bobby but I can no longer recommend him for anyone looking for a job that needs to be completed at the price that he bids it at. read more
