Concrete Designs FL did a great job with the stamped concrete on my patio. It was permanently stained, cracked and showed every bit of dirt and pawprints. They were always on time, answered all of my numerous questions and were so professional. Reasonably priced for the high quality work they did! The worker who poured the concrete, stamped the pattern and did the colors in the shades we wanted was an artist and very hard working. I highly recommend this company. My patio looks awesome... welp, Had to remove a star due to inaccurate and false response from EMILIO MACDONALD. make sure to read ALL the reviews HERE.. it's not just me... and the reason I had to yell is because EMILIO is a LIAR. You will need to be present for all of their work. They WILL cut corners if you're not hawk eyed correcting what they are doing. They will also overcharge for "dumping" and removing a root my wife already mostly removed. They were never authorized to remove the root for $475 when my landscaper said it should only cost $200, I only asked how much they would charge IF my landscaper couldn't do it, I never gave them the final OK, they just ASSUMED. Also EMILIO will charge you for a tiny bit extra concrete, they say it was 2 yards, I know for a fact CEMEX didn't charge them for an extra 2 yards.. EMILIO is rarely on site and doesn't understand that drawings can be wrong, the driveway has to lineup with the joints or it looks stupid, and the curve should look right (not according to a stupid plan) but they don't really care, it's not their driveway... anyway. 2 stars for at least completing the job on time, mostly to spec after many corrections. don't believe anything they respond here. read more

I am still so in love with my patio that I wanted to review this company again! Could not be HAPPIER with my new patio. It went from looking old and dingy to beautiful and a resort feeling!!!! I posted a review around 4 years ago when Concrete Design first installed my new pool and patio deck. It was time for my refurbishing of same and once again they outdid themselves! they had to remove an awful lot of potted plants etc from the deck to make sure they recovered every inch of the deck. My hat is off to dear Numa..he must be a weight lifter! He did the whole thing himself and the job is perfect. he cares about his work and it shows! Im very very happy with my continued relationship with Concrete Designs...im 81 years old now and it sooo nice to deal with a company that still holds to true American values and workmanship.....thanks Numa!!! For several weeks my wife has been trying to reach and settle a problem that is under warranty with this company. Our concrete paint has chipped away for several months now. They won't stand by their warranty. They say it's not covered. They even told us 'as long as we are sealing it once a year, its covered'. Well, this hasn't proved to be the case. For as much trouble that we've had with this company, we've decided to move on. Wasted money and warranty. Please do not use this company. Save your self a huge headache. Emails and phone messages go unanswered. We are looking into reporting to the BBB. This company should be out of business! Money gone down the drain. read more

They are wonderful people but do not live up to warranty. The deck developed several cracks that they refused to fix it although I was given a 5 year warranty on the work. They said it was a mistake to put the concrete over pavers in the first place but wanted $11m to redo the work. What a joke. Whoever uses them, please be sure the job is done correctly. read more

I hired Concrete Designs in Nov 2017 to complete my pool patio remodel, wish i could go back in time and never call this company. Being a contractor my self I am around pool/patios my self all the time. I have had NOTING BUT issues with there service and products. This Patio is going to be replaced because of the poor craftsmanship-and Quality. On top of all cracks and chipping the floor has been EXTREMELY SLIPPERY SINCE DAY 1. I have called Several times to have them come back out and fix the problems only to be given excuses and excuses.Emilio which is the manager/owner was suppose to call and return and never did so I guess I will hope to inform other people of the potential mistake of choosing this company. I will let the pictures speak because they wont talk / respond. Having to get replaced . Sad part is we were going to let them do the other part of our addition and driveway. If I could give no stars I would! Terrible customer service. Do not honor warranties. It took 7 phones calls to get a reply.

Beware!! Concrete Designs will sell you a new patio with a life time warranty. The patio looks half way decent until time passes. Less than 2 years after the patio is complete you need to use the warranty due to patio looking likes it's more than 10 years old. The paint fades, cracks never repaired correctly so they don't appear again and they do not level the patio well therefore water builds up causing mold and mildew. All that would be acceptable IF they honored the lifetime warranty. First off they are requiring you powerwash AND seal the patio by THEM in order to keep warranty valid. Second... They price gouge you paying hundreds of dollars more than competitors to wash and seal knowing you have to I'm order to keep your warranty valid. Shame on them. If I had known they would be so stingy and sneaky I would have hired another contractor to paint my patio. Don't believe me, check out their other reviews on Google read more

I had my patio done by Custom Designs, Fl last month.  While they did a nice job, they only covered part of the pool during the sanding and the dust settled at the bottom of our pool.  I had to get our pool company to come out as the water was so murky it was hard to swim.  They tried removing it but ended up having to empty our pool and clean it out on the bottom as there was so much debris.  We were charged $650 for the cleaning and another large bill for the water that we had to use filling the pool up again.  I sent a certified letter complaining to them. The Better Business Bureau notified them as well. They didn't even have the courtesy to reply to either.  I wouldn't advise using them to anyone. read more

I originally had this company refinish our pool with their concrete design in 2014..not 2 years later it was lifting and peeling. After multiple calls they finally came and repaired it (it was under a 5 year warranty)..then every year like clockwork the paint lifted and peeled off. We would start calling for them to come out and eventually they would and often we had to pay even when our contract clearly stated the warranty. Again it happened and the owner, Claudia, came out in August and said they will come back and repair it, they have a new and improved paint, etc. Despite many calls, and the office never able to give me a date to repair ..it has still not been done and they don't even answer their phone (no voicemail)...So they get a 1 star and I wouldnt even give them that. I've just had the pool completely redone by another company. They were highly responsive and professional. The difference was like night and day. All Seal Exteriors - awesome ! read more

Like others have posted here, including Jodi E, it looks great at first then a few years later, it looks terrible. In fact, when it started deteriorating, I paid over $400 more for the sealant and lifetime warranty. Now 2 years after that, it looks terrible again and they won't honor the warranty and asked for more than $1000 to fix things. No way. I am spending my money on a legal resolution. Lawyer hired, papers are being filed with the court. Time to let a judge review this. read more

We are thrilled with the final project, our patio is gorgeous. However, we did have a stubborn (and I mean stubborn) leak, which stumped everyone and extended my project by 4 weeks. I thought the communication was a problem, someone was on vacation, someone's phone did not work, someone did not return a call. I also felt that one person did not know what another person did and so I ended up doing a lot of the follow up. That being said, I do love the final look and I would recommend to others. read more

Contract signed 02/12/2016 deposit posted 02/16/2016. Work was to start 4 - 5 weeks after, and has not started.(Today's date is 04/01/2016) They phoned me with a start date of 03/30 - 03/31. No one showed up, or even called. Now the date is 04/08/2016. They have my deposit and I have not had any work done to date. I wish I would have used another company. The owner will not return calls, which is usually indicative of guilt. Avoid these people, unless you like stress and hassles. read more

They cut my umbrella pole in half to remove it from the patio and did not bother to tell me until after the job was over and they had my final check. it was an "oh by the way..." They said it was the umbrella fault, not theirs. Their workers stole coconuts from my neighbor and we had to argue with them to give them back. They also filled in a baby fence pole and will not reimburse us for the new drilling. This was our second time using them and was happy with the first. Judge a company on how they deal with problems. Being a business owner myself I know the value of arriving on time because my customers expect me to be there when I tell them I will be. This job was scheduled for a particular day and it took multiple phone calls and messages before the job was finally begun over a week later. I almost cancelled the job. Thankfully the work was eventually started but went on longer than expected due to foul weather again causing me to juggle my own schedule. Eventually the job was finished and thankfully the end result was exceptional. The young men doing the work were actually hard workers and to my surprise very artistic. The curb appeal of the design and color combinations are proving to be very attractive to passersby to the point that people stop daily and ask questions about the project including knocking on our door to ask about the driveway. My recommendation to this company is to under promise and over deliver. But to the customer I highly recommend the quality of this company's work. read more
