On 12/18/24 I contacted Concord Locksmith shop to make a new key fob for my 2011 BMW 135i. I was told they could not quote me a price until arrival. Upon their arrival  I was told that they could make the key fob needed. After making the key and trying to start my car, I'm then told that my car will not start and the key will not work for my car. My car had been running completely fine before this they came out, all I needed was the key fob. I was then charged $399 for a inoperable key and key fob. After they left I took a better look at the key inside and realized the key itself had no grooves on it so it would've  never even unlocked my car let alone start it. Now my car that was running fine is in the shop needing over 1k in repairs. This company is unprofessional, un trustworthy and not a real business. Please avoid this scam at all costs. read more

He never got it to work and REFUSED TO REFUND MY MONEY!!! so I paid 150.00 for a key that only starts my car no buttons work on the key fob! I took my Kia Soul to the Concord Locksmith shop to get a new key fob that would unlock the doors with the remote .The lady there spoke to the shop owner to verify she had the correct key/fob for the car . She cut the key and tried to program it to the car which it would not do , it would manually unlock the door and the ignition ( just like the key I had ) but the fob remote would not work . The lady at the shop tried to help until closing time . Speaking to owner he said he would refund $40 of the $150 he charged or charge me $100 more for the correct key . After much debate he explained it was my fault that the car wouldn't program because " some do and some don't and he couldn't know until they try to program ". Very upset ! Can't put in words how bad of an experience this was !!! Have to put a star to submit , would rather put 5 thumbs down . read more

after three hours of waiting we were never quoted for the service. They open the door and charged us $148. When we asked for an invoice they refused to give us an invoice or a receipt they just texted the amount to us. I do not recommend the service at all I believe they are overcharging and I will escalate this issue with the corresponding Better Business Bureau. i called several places before these people and got answering macHines. so when they answered I ask them to come next day to replace a lock on a cluster mailbox. they charged $342.00. My 89-year-old veteran father got locked out of his house in the garage in 30° weather. He called this company and their owner whose name is Mike, when he got there my father asked him how much it would cost to rekey three locks as well as letting him in, he said oh don't worry about it it won't be that much. So my father frantic and cold when all about his business when it was time for payment the guy said that will be $1,000 and ask my father to pay him in cash. When I found out about the incident I called Mike back and pretended to be someone else in the exact same area with the exact same problem he told me it would be a $69 fee to come out $75 per lock to rekey and I couldn't get him to tell me how much it would be to let me, I hung up waited a bit called him back and told him I knew what he had done to my father he tried to tell me all different kinds of lies and he told me he charged my father $389 to let him in this house that I could have kicked the door in on. I am reporting him to every place that I can report him to he takes advantage of older people scared people people that are in trouble and honestly I don't know what else he might do. Please be aware this guy Mike with Concord Locksmith shop will rip you off in the worst way we have got a complaint at the better Business bureau the attorney general at the head of the veterans association and the bank is working on getting my father's money back and we are going to be taking him to small claims court.
