Through the years I taught myself not to use my left arm. This of course was not smart. The pain that I experienced increased over the years making it difficult to sleep. When I first went to Toyin Atoro-Odueyungbo I was in bad shape. Through her persistence and expertise Toyin Atoro-Odueyungbo brought my left shoulder "back to life". I am so appreciative of what she did for me. She also is an incredibly interesting person to talk with. My sessions with her went by very quickly! I wholeheartedly recommend Northwood Physical Therapy / Toyin Atoro-Odueyungbo!

The next few years were filled with specialists visits, following ambulances to the ER, watching my husband life flighted into the trauma center, ect. There wasn't any time for dental visits. Recently, I lost my husband. He did not survive his injuries. On Feb. 21, 2024 I called Bara Dental for an appointment because, on top of everything, else I had just broken a tooth. They advised since it had been a few years since I had been seen, they would have to establish me as a new patient. No appointment until June. I shared about my husband, apparently that and my situation with a new injury didn't matter to them. They wouldn't budge. I also had to endure them justifying this abusive and negligent treatment as they made false claims that I cancelled appointments and was never happy there anyway. Then I was hung up on. One could reason that if I had not been happy with their past service I wouldn't have stayed with that practice. I would have found another dentist. I called a new dentist and explained my situation. They got me in right away.

It was repeatedly explained to the receptionist that Saco Bay canceled the appointments rather than my husband simply not showing up. but the poor thing just couldn't understand and told us to call billing. Would never recommend this place.

NuLife has been a tremendous part of my recovery journey. The combination of group therapy,…read morepsychiatric care, and TMS treatment provided me with the support and tools I needed during one of the most difficult period of my life. What makes this program special is the sense of community. The daily check-ins and group discussions offer honest peer feedback, different perspectives, and plenty of opportunities for growth. I've made meaningful connections with my peers, and those relationships have been just as valuable as the clinical treatment itself. Rebecca is an exceptional clinician and leader whose compassion, insight, and ability to connect with clients have had a lasting impact on me. Dr. Azi has also been incredibly supportive throughout my treatment. The team genuinely cares about their clients and creates an environment where people can do the hard work of recovery while still finding moments to laugh. As the unofficial comic relief of the group, I've learned that healing and humor can coexist. In fact, one of my favorite contributions to the program was a phrase that seems to have stuck: "Do it afraid." Recovery isn't about waiting until you're fearless--it's about moving forward anyway. NuLife helped me do exactly that. I'm incredibly grateful for my experience at NuLife and would highly recommend the program to anyone seeking support for their mental health or recovery. THE END
