Let's start with the manager/management. Completely disengaged and shows no empathy for tenants. Any concern brought to her is quickly dismissed with "not my doing" or "not my decision," exhibiting a complete lack of accountability. God forbid you go to talk to them and they are in the middle of chatting with each other or on a call, you will feel like you are bothering them, especially with the woman manager. I've had my experience with that.
Now, they've decided tenants can only pick up packages during office hours. This is incredibly unfair and unreasonable for anyone with a job that prevents them from doing so. Despite requiring key fobs for the mail room and surrounding doors, cameras, and even making us get parcel pending, they still choose to inconvenience tenants. This restriction on accessing our own mail feels like a hostage situation and is, frankly, illegal. It's been over a year and yet management can't figure out how to prevent people's packages from getting stolen.
The hallway carpet is absolutely disgusting. It stinks, it's matted with animal fur, and it's a nightmare for anyone with allergies. It hasn't been deep cleaned in years, and considering they allow pets, maintaining cleanliness should be a top priority. Frankly, it needs to be replaced entirely.
The walls are stained and dirty from water leaks, and if you look at almost any ceiling, you'll see areas that have collapsed due to water damage. The mold is crazy and it's a whole other story and needs a post by itself.
Both the indoor and outdoor pools are perpetually "broken." It feels less like a maintenance issue and more like retaliation against tenants until we stop complaining.
Similarly, the elevators are constantly out of order, forcing long waits for the service elevator.
Finally, be prepared for random fire alarms to blare at any given time. If you work from home, have a baby, or just want to get some sleep, these unpredictable alarms are a constant disruption.
This complex clearly has potential, but it's being squandered. What it desperately needs is management that actually cares, takes accountability, and, crucially, stops retaliating against its tenants. On top of that, a serious overhaul of the maintenance and cleaning services is long overdue. Frankly, living here often feels less like an apartment complex and more like a rundown project, and that's completely unacceptable. read more
