I see a lot of bad reviews on here and I cant speak for that because I don't live there but I can speak on what I've seen and done from my viewing. Everyone I met that works there was super personable and friendly. I feel that the only explanation for the reviews being bad on here, is that the owner is spreading its staff too thin.. The reason I believe that is because managers and front desk workers can only do so much. I'm in the business and you can only work with what you are given. I don't even live there and they did something for me they were not required to do and didn't have to do. Doing that while I could tell they were swamped with work, the manager Melisa, as well as Isabella who I was speaking with too was able to help me figure out my license was there and find a way to mail it back to me right that very second rather than waiting until after the holiday weekend all while answering the phones non stop rings and answering people's questions in person I could overhear a bit. So for all of them to be able to multitask to that level is proof they are amazing at their jobs. To me they seem overworked and underpaid. I hope the owner of the business sees this (and isn't offended) because they have great staff and I hope they know it and I can't express enough how nice Jodi was at the front desk who gave us the tour, Isabella and the manager Melisa. I know there are bad reviews on here but I would love to live here and I hope we will be able to. But regardless I will never forget the kind gesture done for me today and it's always nice to just help eachother these days as we the little people are all scrambling for a place to live since the govt messed up the economy. read more

DO NOT MOVE HERE Management regularly gives short notice for entry (often less than 24 hours) and then doesn't show up as scheduled, sometimes appearing days later without warning. They are nearly impossible to reach by phone; calls are usually routed to third-party customer service that can't resolve issues and promises follow-ups that never happen. Rent increases with every renewal, yet ongoing maintenance issues are rarely addressed. There is widespread mold throughout common areas and units. Essential systems frequently break, including elevators, heat, AC, and laundry machines. The building infrastructure is extremely outdated, and failures are often blamed on the age of the property rather than properly fixed. The carport has severe structural damage, is now condemned, and has caused falling debris and pipe damage--yet residents are still charged $75 per parking spot. Snow removal is inconsistent, sometimes making it impossible to leave for work. Mail and packages are frequently stolen due to poor security. Trash chutes regularly overflow. Laundry costs have increased multiple times (now ~$3.90 per load), but machines are inefficient and often require multiple cycles. Elevators have been out of service for weeks at a time and continue to break down. Most recently, large portions of the property have been without water for over a week. Residents were given conflicting information, encouraged to stay instead of using hotels, and then left without updates or reliable communication. Overall, the property appears too old and poorly managed to be properly maintained, and residents consistently bear the consequences. Beware of the reviews--these apartments are far from luxurious. The descriptions may tout luxury living, but the reality is drastically different. Read Google reviews too! Just four days before our scheduled move-in, after we had already paid our deposit, we were informed that the apartment was suddenly unavailable and our move would be postponed until the next month. When we visited the office to address the issue, we encountered an unprofessional and disrespectful property manager named Melissa. She attempted to charge us extra for an "upgraded" apartment, but we stood firm on the original price. After much persistence, we finally secured an apartment for our intended move-in date. However, the apartment was never cleaned, the brick walls had mold, the walls had writing and to top it all off, it was roach-infested. If this wasn't enough, I had to pay every single time the exterminator came in. The elevator was down for days, the washers and dryers on our building floor did not work and the amenities that you are forced to pay $114 for monthly were closed most of the year while we lived there. The show doesn't end here, they constantly need to get into apartments, they send emails the same day off, NOT 24 hours in advance. When they did send emails in advance with a schedule they didn't stick to it. Even when you request to not go in without someone in the apartment they do! I had cameras facing the doors and this happened multiple times. At our move out, we left that apartment clean, not the way they gave it to us. No garbage and were out by our move out date. They still however decided to keep half of our security deposit, I posted what they charged here on the review. I went to the office and got a number to contact the office tenantrelations@twocoastliving.com. Called, but apparently everything is handled by email. So I emailed and still haven't heard back from the offices. Other people posted the fees at move out, check the older reviews, they are outrageous! I will start by saying I love the space in my apartment but I will continue to say that you will never receive an email back from the leasing team, your maintenance requests will most likely go unanswered until you are able to get in touch with someone, even if it is an emergency. In my experience there is no communication between the leasing team, the maintenance team, and the residents. The ceiling tiles in the parking carports are always leaking and falling apart. The buildings are fine but they are very far from being luxury. For the price of the apartment I guess this is what you should expect. They should not be advertised as luxury. read more

The building should be condemned, I've seen units in the building with signs deeming them unsafe, we had leaks from pipes in our wall causing them to cut into the wall and leave gaping holes that took months to patch, animals would get in the holes. The garage level is filled with holes in the roof and loose wires hanging everywhere. Of course they don't show you that on the tour. The property managers are incredibly rude and treat their tenants like sub-humans. Maintenance takes ages to come out even for emergency's like water leaking into the apartment. I've seen dog droppings in the hallways, literal mushrooms growing in them, trash rooms constantly overflowing. The complex has undergone lawsuits if you'd like to Google those as well. If I could leave less than one star, I would. Not only is there a mold problem, but there is a cockroach infestation. Washers and dryers are left not working, the stairs railing is broken, the light to the stairwell is broken, the sliding glass door in the apartment doesn't open, the burners on the stove do not work, when taking a shower, the water from the apartment above drips down on you. There is glass in the parking lot. That tenants are constantly picking up. There are so many issues with the concierge departments. I just toured yesterday and all the previous reviews were correct: The show unit looked like it was in disrepair. The building it was in smelled and many of the walls and the elevator exhibited signs of little maintenance and cleaning. There were water spots on various walls. The water in the unit didn't get hot and when I left it running and checked underneath the sinks, the pipes were leaking. The baseboards looked chipped and the paint was peeling throughout. The sad part is that this place has all the potential. It's in a beautiful location. Great walking routes and an updated leasing center / pool / not a bad apartment exercising areas. Plenty of space in the apartment unit. Exposed brick. But the place is completely run down. Carpets in the hallway are smelly and stained (looks like blood even). Looks like someone started a renovation and never finished the walls are a mess too. I have been here 3 months and the washer and dryer on my floor have been out of order the entire time. You never know which other floor is going to have a working washer/dryer and that's even if it's not already in use.. it's 2.70 per wash/dry if you finally are able to use one. They haven't refilled the doggy poop bags in over a month and people are just letting their dogs poop everywhere outside even in the walkways. And the last straw was the fact that someone's dog left a human sized poop in the hallway and did not clean it up. I made a call to the leasing center about it and over 24hr later, the poop is still there and now looks like people have stepped in it. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! Wish I could give 0 stars!!!!!! Well as soon as you pull past the leasing office it's a sh*thole. All roads leading to the apartment buildings have HUGE HOLES EVERYWHERE. If they haven't already popped some tires or taken someone's front end, they will soon. They put bandaids over EVERYTHING here, but nothing actually ever gets fixed. They fill the holes in with tiny pebbles so when it rains or even if a gust of wind comes, the rocks are everywhere. Now the actual apartments are disgusting. The leasing office only shows you specific "show rooms". They don't have anyone move in there, so they keep it clean and lie right to your face. They charge $600 for a down payment for a dog, then $60 a month. Wanna know what they do for your dogs? NOTHING. They use probably the worst salt when it snows, and they put it EVERYWHERE. They leave PILES of it. I will say they have doggie stations with bags (maybe, but you're better off buying your own cause they rip when you try and open them, and they're not even usually filled) and a trash can which is always overflowing with anything BUT dog poop. The residents are disgusting too, you can't walk on any part of the grass on this property without stepping in dog poop. They move people in the same day they are half ass cleaning a stove with roaches (that will be left in that apartment), with no heat, no hot water, etc. The sliding glass door handle just flew off when my brother opened the door. They didn't have the correct apartment key when we moved in. They have raised my rent almost $300 in two leasing terms, and just got a note that it will be going up AGAIN if I choose to resign for this lease. And it's not like they do anything but get worse. They can't sit here and tell me this place costs $2400. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH. The outlet for the microwave fried the breaker and they never came back to fix it. On the move-out survey they asked, "If someone were to ask you what it's like living here, what would you tell them?" I would tell them that in the ~14 months I lived here there were more than 30 days (I stopped counting) where hot water was not available. I would tell them that on many of those days the water didn't run at all for hours at a time. I would tell them how the broken dishwasher was replaced by another, slightly less broken dishwasher. I would tell them how the A/C units leak refrigerant, and that the refrigerant they use is now illegal to manufacture in, or import to the United States. I would tell them how the basement has a very concerning amount of water that pours in from the ceiling every time it rains. I would tell them how it took several months to even bother power washing after a small fire in the trash area. I would tell them how you raised my rent without the 60 days written notice required in our lease, and how that raise would be considered retaliatory in the state of Connecticut due to the maintenance request we made within the previous 6 months. I would tell them to live under a bridge before renting a unit in this building, or any building that's operated or owned by JRK Property Holdings. read more

I had put in a maintenance request at 9am this morning to fix the toilet. By 2:00pm I had gone to the office to say it hadn't been fixed and to get an estimated time. I have had multiple issues at this complex, and told people that were touring to "think twice" before moving here. The front office staff called me rude and disgusting. The manager put her hands in my face, told me to get out of her office, and refused to give me her supervisor's name. Her first name is Amanda. Again, I have a voice recording that illustrates I respectfully stated my issue, my opinion, gave warning to other possible tenants, and was met with malice, aggression, and almost a physical altercation. This has been the worst move in experience of my life. Where should I start cause I have a book and this is 10th day here. They showed me the model apartment which is in very good condition. I was fooled by the luxury sign out front, the location, and lobby area which is nicely put together and maintained. Filled out an application which also required you to leave a 400.00 Deposit as well. The person I worked with was Lauren. She wrote down on the paper the total of what my charges would be for rent. She advised me that the 400.00 Deposit would go towards the security deposit. I get accepted and sent a residency letter with all of these fees that was conveniently left out of the verbal conversation and off the initial charges Lauren wrote down. I thought that was real shady so I started looking at the reviews. I went in the office to discuss the issues I read. They assured me these things were isolated issues. I complained about all the hidden charges that was never was covered initially when I decided to complete the application and pay the deposit fee. I met with another lady who acted like she was a manager. I complained about being charged a pro rated fee to move in on April 27th. I advised them that I didn't want pay that I would just rather move in on the 1st of the month. She told me that this was fine. I had one more specific demand which was to see an apartment outside of the model. I explained that I just wanted to see the condition of the apartment. This in February. They assured they would call me. I called several times right up to the week before April 27th. I was then told by Lauren to trust her she was gonna make sure the apartment was good and I was thinking negative which would ultimately resort in a negative experience. So, I'm like I guess your right, I will trust you. Lol..what a fool I was. Then she hits me with my move in date is the 27th. This is after I had arranged all the utilities, movers, and everything for May 1st. Appearently the girl didn't write what she told me down and Lauren what I now know played dumb. Me and Lauren the negotiate the 29th as a move in date. I change all the business matters to the 29th with the exception of the movers. They had to stay for the first. Here is where it gets good now. On April 28th, I get a call from Lauren herself asking what happened to me on the 27th? Eye roll immediately from me on the phone. I remind her of our conversation and she hangs up hesitantly. I go in the office that same day because the lease had a start date of April 27th still. Lauren then tells me while I'm there, wait get this...I have to pay for the start date of the 27th still. I was advised that it would be cheaper to do it that way or I would be charged a 400.00 fee for changing my date. I had to leave and consult with other people to make sure I wasn't crazy. I was finally able to see the apartment that day, Needless to say the word luxury is just a selling point. I didn't want to have to fight in court for my 400.00 back and at this point I had super committed to the place with deliveries, furniture purchased, items in storage. I was able to be released from the fee but move in date was 29th. I get here and she hands me my keys in an envelope knowing that she did not have a key fab for me to utilize the amenities or get my packages after 6pm. They charge off the top for this fab so it was already paid for. I had to go back and ask for it, then I was told I had to wait until someone moved out this week. Lauren stated on Wednesday. Wednesday turned to Sunday and Sunday basically turned into I can't tell you when your gonna get a key fab. Well then after 7 days I discovered the fridge was not working properly after days of waiting for it to get colder. I can say that was addressed immediately and they changed out the fan motor. (Copy Pasted from my Google Review) TLDR: Don't live here, the building is dated and not maintained with constant issues, the management are the WORST and treat you like you are a burden. The space in the unit is nice, but it's not worth it. There looks like there has been a recent influx of positive reviews, don't believe them. I wouldn't be surprised if those were employees told to leave positive reviews to 'fix' the bad reviews. LOOK AT THE OLDER REVIEWS, THEY DON'T LIE. The building: My fiancee and I signed a lease and then moved in at the start of 2023. The space in the units is nice, but other than what we've had NOTHING but problems. As the other reviews have mentioned, there have been constant hot water issues. They just recently replaced 2 broilers, so that's good at least, but before that we lost hot water during the cold snap earlier this year for at least 4 days. Our apartment wasn't cleaned before we arrived (we were moving across country so they had a MONTH to clean, still nothing got done). We had to fight with the cleaning people when the did eventually show up and SHOW THEM where they hadn't cleaned. Hair in the sink/shower, grease stains on the fridge, dried food on the counter from the last tenant, food in the garbage disposal causing a smell, parts of the carpet not tacked down, etc. The building is CLEARLY not maintained. All the hallways smell, there are stains on all the carpets, the elevator seems like it's going to break whenever you use it (the 'main elevator' has gone down a few times, and then we are forced to use a service elevator that you need to walk through a parking garage to get to), there are cracks and gaps throughout the unit, I could go on. They don't salt the roads when it snows and I've personally talked with at least 3 elderly people who have almost fallen on ice. There is dog poop EVERYWHERE around where the cars park and the front doors to the buildings, and they don't enforce anything. There have been constant issues with the pool and gym equipment breaking. The craziest part is that you can walk around outside this property and get to other complexes and units that look MUCH nicer (they aren't a part of the Conreirge, just on the same plot of land). It really makes us regret choosing here. The Management: This is easily what is making our time here the worst. When we first toured in late 2022, the people at the front desk were kind, and the woman who gave us a tour was very friendly. Then, literally a month later, we arrive and learn that EVERY SINGLE PERSON on the management staff has been fired and replaced. Any HOLY COW the new people are the most fake and condescending people I've ever met. They play nice when doing tours, but if you are a resident, they genuinely don't care about you. As many other reviews mentioned, they didn't care when there was no hot water and would get very curt and rude when we would call to ask for updates (BECAUSE THEY WEREN'T GIVING US ANY). Whenever we would ask questions (either over the phone, or going down and asking in person), we were treated like we were wasting their time. A perfect example just happened today. We had a package delivered that was stolen, and the apartment uses 'Parcel Pending' for their mail room lockers. This package was not put in a locker, and they have a camera in the mail room. We called to ask about getting the camera feed reviewed to see if we can get our package back. When we called and spoke to the manager of the property about this (easily the worst person to interact with), she was immediately dismissive. We asked to see if we would see the footage and before we even finished speaking she cut us off with something to the effect of 'We can't show you the footage, that's not allowed. We aren't responsible for your packages. I have a lot of work to do so I can't sit here on the phone with you'. It's impossible to get someone friendly, and the nicest person we've talked to was a woman named Natalia, and she had only been there for 4 days. read more

As instructed I went back to finish filling out the application but was coincidently locked out of my account my and application had been cancelled meaning no chance for refund. After calling to ask why I was immediately put on hold for 45 mins, no exaggeration. Felt like no resolution would come from it I decided to hang up. In short I advise everyone to stay away for Concierge in Rocky Hill. For the price rent would be you should expect more from the lease and service departments. Absolute letdown. read more

Will tell you your rent will be about $1,600 but after all the fees you'll really be paying close to $1,850. And if you decide you like us so much well boost your rent up to $2,000. We're constantly placing our pools and facilities under maintenance but don't let that shy you away we're still going to charge you. Everyone what it's like to have your pipes completely Frozen in the winter and not have water for yourself or your kids come move right in. Everyone what it's like to constantly have water problems when it's not winter come move in. Constant mode problems we got that too. Make an apartment look new just by painting over all the old yep that's us. Having to make constant maintenance calls definitely us. Would like to have your mail stolen even though it's supposed to be locked in a secure room that is only accessible to tenants come on in. Want to get overcharged for a water bill even though you may not have been home for a month or two oh yeah that's happening. Will charge you a hundred bucks on your water bill even though you weren't home. Also we'll make sure that your light bill is overcharged up till about 6 to $700. And trust me no eversource person is going to come out and check the meter because we don't even know where our meters are at for your apartment. read more

This property should be CONDEMNED...The property manager Mellisa Davis is very LAZY, LIES, and encourages the leasing agents to lie during tours, and trick applicants into moving in. She deliberately moves all the Indian people to D & E buildings citing that they are NASTY PEOPLE. She judges prospects by their attire when deciding whether or not she wants to accept their applications, unless her quota is down for move ins for that week. She encourages the leasing agents to not inform applicants that Garages and carports are included in some units so she can overcharge them. She directs the maintenance team to PAINT OVER THE MOLD. Most of the units have MOLD. She will also overcharge some people to move in while lowering move in fees for others who have same situations. She instructs the leasing agents to STOP residents from speaking to her regarding issues with rent, overcharges, and building issues. She pretends like she's so busy but she's in her office on social media or personal calls with her friends and family. She lies and blames everyone for things but yet she's the BOSS. She's allowed to behave this way because she and her boss Inez Rueda the (Regional Manager) are Friends. The corporate office for whatever reason allows this tyranny to persist creating a plethora of issues on the property. I am willing to speak on behalf of any resident who is experiencing HEALTH ISSUES due to the mold and filth of the buildings. I'm looking to assist ALL the people whom aren't able to get back their $400 as there are more than 300 people that they HOPE will just let the matter go and they keep the money. JRK/TWOCOASTLIVING don't care how ineffective the Property Manager is, nor do they hold her accountable for the turn over of staff for this property. SHE IS THE ISSUE. Followed by the Regional Manager who isn't fully competent in her job without the assistance of the Property Manager. I'll be reaching out to the health department, commisoner of Human rights because I have witnessed these things FIRST HAND and KNOW that the reviews are ACCURATE. The residents are being treated poorly. The package room has cameras that ONLY the property manager is privy to and she REFUSES to watch the room and assist in implementing procedures to help the residents packages be secure. She's dismissive to the issues and most times has NO CLUE what the issues are on the property and she lacks MORALE. Anyone who speaks against her she has FIRED to protect her salary. My heart goes out to all the residents currently struggling to get things fixed, live comfortably or to just have decent human living that they pay so much money for. I'm satisfied living here. In fact, I recently renewed my lease. I have had no issues with the office staff and my one semi-major maintenance issue was taken care of very quickly. It's a nice, big property with space for my kids to play and my neighbors are always quiet and respectful. The property is on a Hartford bus line and walking distance to route 3; minutes from 91. I wouldnt recommend renting an apartment at the Century Hills. The management is horrible. The people sitting at in the property management office are very rude. They ill-treat the residents. They look down on the Indians who live there. The common area in the building is very dirty and stinky. Inspite of many complaints no action was taken by the management. When it comes to renewal of lease, the management increases rent $200 to $300 dollars, which is far far above the market value. The apartments are very very old. The heating is not effective. The electricity bill in winters go upto $400. There are far better options available in the town. Never Never rent at Century Hills!!!! read more

First let me say, I was very fooled by the management staff and grounds. Looks are very conceiving as I found out my very first week. Move in Jan.21 of 2022 (Sat.) and no sooner does a water pipe break right outside my balcony at 1130pm on Sunday . Within the week we noticed no hot water various times in morning and on weekend . No heat since Monday either. Contacted Lidice to turn in paperwork and she assured me that the items I put on my punch list would be fixed and I questioned her about issues in apartment of water and heat and how are neighbors told us that they also have issues. She said that is wS simply untrue. Well a week went by and Monday morning another pipe busted off hot water at 130am which brought fire department and maintenance at 730am again to below my balcony. Still nothing fixed with heat or hot water.This is now going on second week of February. I contacted again and wand up in a disagreement with Lidice over no heat and hot water. Now I was keeping emails at this point. There is no plowing she also said it was a courtesy as an addendum to our lease we signed. Well ,he'll no I didn't sign that and finally went down to office and spoke with Charlene the manager and was told only to deal with her at this point. Well that started alit of emails and issues still no heat and no hot water. I could keep writing as I would say I spent 6 days in a hotel courtesy of JRK and City Health Dept. At the beginning of April and and still no heat. We decided it's time to end lease in end of April and bring to court. Please be careful Charlene also left at the end if March and almost two weeks later an interim management is here. The kicker Lidice lived on the property as stated in the beginning of my quest for an apartment and she moved apartments as well. Was that a coincidence or an issue with her significant other? The walls in Concierge Luxury Homes are anything but Luxury !!! I will be bringing my issue to New Britain Court for a judge to figure it out now. read more
