    Beware of the reviews--these apartments are far from luxurious. The descriptions may tout luxury living, but the reality is drastically different. Read Google reviews too! Just four days before our scheduled move-in, after we had already paid our deposit, we were informed that the apartment was suddenly unavailable and our move would be postponed until the next month. When we visited the office to address the issue, we encountered an unprofessional and disrespectful property manager named Melissa. She attempted to charge us extra for an "upgraded" apartment, but we stood firm on the original price. After much persistence, we finally secured an apartment for our intended move-in date. However, the apartment was never cleaned, the brick walls had mold, the walls had writing and to top it all off, it was roach-infested. If this wasn't enough, I had to pay every single time the exterminator came in. The elevator was down for days, the washers and dryers on our building floor did not work and the amenities that you are forced to pay $114 for monthly were closed most of the year while we lived there. The show doesn't end here, they constantly need to get into apartments, they send emails the same day off, NOT 24 hours in advance. When they did send emails in advance with a schedule they didn't stick to it. Even when you request to not go in without someone in the apartment they do! I had cameras facing the doors and this happened multiple times. At our move out, we left that apartment clean, not the way they gave it to us. No garbage and were out by our move out date. They still however decided to keep half of our security deposit, I posted what they charged here on the review. I went to the office and got a number to contact the office tenantrelations@twocoastliving.com. Called, but apparently everything is handled by email. So I emailed and still haven't heard back from the offices. Other people posted the fees at move out, check the older reviews, they are outrageous! I will spread the word about this place, it's been a nightmare.

    The building should be condemned, I've seen units in the building with signs deeming them unsafe, we had leaks from pipes in our wall causing them to cut into the wall and leave gaping holes that took months to patch, animals would get in the holes. The garage level is filled with holes in the roof and loose wires hanging everywhere. Of course they don't show you that on the tour. The property managers are incredibly rude and treat their tenants like sub-humans. Maintenance takes ages to come out even for emergency's like water leaking into the apartment. I've seen dog droppings in the hallways, literal mushrooms growing in them, trash rooms constantly overflowing. The complex has undergone lawsuits if you'd like to Google those as well. Save yourself the headache and health, stay away.

    Don't do it! They fix nothing. Everything is run down and smelly. The garbage situation is horrible. The pipes are bursting. Takes forever to get hot water. Stained carpets in move in and the tiniest most unusable kitchen. Do NOT do it!

    Would give 0 stars if I could. Complex never responds to maintenance requests and refuses to fix anything until it's an extreme hazard or their being sued to do so.

    Poop on the floor over 24 hrs after being reported.

    Washers often don't work, elevators often don't work, you literally have to pay for everything even down to your water.

    We lived at Montage Apartments for just over a year and unfortunately, our experience left much to…read morebe desired. While the complex initially presented itself as a luxury residence, our time there was marked by repeated frustrations, unaddressed concerns, and ultimately, a complete lack of accountability or care from the property management. Over the course of our lease, we outlined our concerns in a detailed letter to management, covering everything from maintenance problems, neglected amenities, parking issues, and communication failures, to unfulfilled promises and generally poor upkeep. These issues included: * The pool being advertised as heated and regularly maintained, yet never once functioning properly during our entire stay. A former maintenance employee even confirmed it had never been heated. * Ongoing issues with package security, with deliveries routinely left in unsecured, inconsistent locations despite repeated suggestions and promises of an Amazon Hub system that never materialized. * Severe parking limitations, where only one space was provided for a two-bedroom unit, and alternative parking near our building was nearly impossible to find. We offered solutions, but they were ignored. * Poorly maintained amenities such as an arcade machine that was removed and never replaced, a community garden left overgrown and unusable, and a gym in unsanitary condition with broken equipment and literal mucus on the walls. * Persistent maintenance problems from day one, including doors that didn't latch properly, a sink that detached from the countertop due to improper installation, repeated HVAC issues, bird nests in dryer vents, and security concerns with exterior doors remaining ajar in cold weather. * Extremely high staff turnover and constant reminder emails about strict rules that addressed problems passively instead of being solved at the root. We met with the property manager directly and expressed all of these concerns. Despite this effort, we were given no reassurances that anything would change. The only action taken was the removal of the mucus on the gym wall. Even after pointing out the heavy accumulation of dust, the gym remained untouched for months. The only response was, "We're trying our best." When we asked for alternative lease terms--such as a shorter renewal while we observed whether things would improve--we were quoted rates over $2,000 MORE per month, essentially pricing us out of any flexibility and making it clear there was no intent to compromise or retain us as tenants. Following our decision to move out, the overall conditions at Montage deteriorated even further. Landscaping was completely neglected, with overgrown grass and gardens left untouched for a month. Then came a highly aggressive move-out checklist, which threatened to deduct our security deposit for anything from unvacuumed carpets to lightbulbs being out (even though they owned the bulbs). The tone was punitive and disconnected from any reality of how they had managed our tenancy. We've since moved into The Borden in Wethersfield and the difference has been nothing short of night and day. The property is clean, well-maintained, professionally staffed, and equipped with thoughtful amenities like a secure package locker system, ample parking, and responsive service. We cannot in good faith recommend Montage Apartments to anyone. The lack of care, the broken promises, and the unprofessional handling of tenant concerns made our experience consistently stressful. We hope this review is helpful to anyone considering this property and encourages Montage to reflect on how it treats its residents.

THE WHOLE BUILDING IS IN HORRIBLE CONDITION! lights coming out doors already unlocked which you would need a key for !!? that's very unsafe ! on top of that charges us extra for trash ? i thought it was free!?? these people don't care about their tenants only money money money ! rent goes up every month ! and also add a bunch of extra unknown fees for no reason! SAVE YOURSELF GO SOMEWHERE ELSE THIS PLACE IS A HEALTH HAZARD IM BEGGING YOU NO MATTER HOW HARD TIMES GET DONT TURN TO CONCIERGE!

There's literally nothing you can't do here. An apartment complex that doubles as a venue for small businesses. An elevator lobby that doubles as a yoga studio. A party room that host parties that are double the fun as parties held elsewhere! Once you get past the holes in the walls that let bedbugs roam free, and the staff that don't let you pick up your packages, and the smells, and the creepy people, and the fact that it's in Rocky Hill, and Sound Marketing Concepts' headquarters on the first floor, and the embarrassment of having friends visit you there, and it becoming a practical joke for everyone that knows you, and you wondering why you ever moved there, and you thanking your lucky stars when you move out - it really grows on you. Scuba shack (scuba?!!!) is across the way along with a great "package" store. Love me some Stepny.

    These apartments are really great. There are always tons of visitor parking spots. I come here once…read morea month to visit a client and I always leave assured that she is in a good neighborhood. The building itself is secured and you need to be buzzed in by the person you are visiting to enter. Once inside there is an elevator for people who can't or would rather not take the stairs. There is a laundry room on level 1 and the large trash receptacles outside get emptied as often as they need. I've also noticed that every common area (hallways, laundry room, foyer, etc.) is kept very clean and well maintained. The laundry room system is something I really love because they give you a reloadable card for the machines instead of using cash to run the washers and dryers. There are 4 washers, 4 dryers, a garbage, and a table for folding. Definitely one of the nicer laundry rooms I've seen. I have only seen a 1 bedroom apartment. There is an open layout for the living room, dining area, and kitchen. Away from those areas there are the doors to the bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom is medium to small in size. The bedroom has room for a king size bed and a dresser with room to walk around the bed, but that's about it. Off the living room is a small porch. There is enough room out there for a chair or two and some plants. I know there is a rule against shaking rugs over the side of the railing so that the dust/sand doesn't disturb the people below so I'd imagine there might be rules against dumping water or smoking also (I'd definitely ask management before moving in!) Animals are allowed in this building. I've seen a few small dogs and their owners walking in and out of the building for outdoor potty breaks. This spot is very nice for single people and couples without children. Personally, I wouldn't consider this location with children. I have not yet dealt with management or bill pay.

    the place is out dated i've been living here for 6 months and absolutely hate it . my central air…read morebroke the first two months living here during a heat wave . the neighbors are nosy and complain about any and everything they ask millions of questions they will report you to management for every little thing . i cant wait until my one year is up to move out . the hallways smell like cigarettes and smoke . it reminds me of a convalescent home . Everything is out dated theres a lot of visitors parking but if you park in them they complain . a lot of racist people here against minorities the residents are always hard asking my 10 year old daughter asking her questions about us . and where she lives
