Took my vitals and then the staff shut the door and left the exam room. Over an hour later I finally got up and opened the door and two doctors were just sitting there. I was literally just going to leave but they said they were really busy and I was next. Went back to the room and the doctor came right in. 3 minutes of exam and he prescribed normal prescription you'd expect for a sinus infection. Was out 5 minutes later. Pretty sure they literally forgot about me because once I walked out of the exam room I got all kinds of intense attention. Upon exiting through the lobby it was completely empty.

She then told me that the locations I had been to were new, not the same type of urgent care that their location was, and were "not in the loop yet". I have been to the glenpool, jenks, and Sapulpa locations. I have only ever paid a $25 copay. The Glenpool location is the newest, but I know the Sapulpa location has been there for years. I didn't want to cause a scene because she was persistent that I owed $75. She said I haven't reached my deductible (which has never been an issue before). My mother called the billing office immediately to address. She talked to Lori. Lori agreed with her and told me she'd contact the office then call me. She never heard back. This morning she called Lori again. This time Lori was short with my mother and basically told her we'd have to wait and see IF we'd be refunded. No direct resolution. This isn't just a customer service issue. I'd hate to see what they steal from patients that come through without healthcare coverage. Note: they are MEDNOW but have Express Wellness all over their facility. Regardless, my insurance is still in network with them.

Went on a search for a new doc, but I changed my criteria for what I needed. Decided to go for a female (mostly because a woman will STILL have to work 3 times harder than the men on either side of her thus I feel better about her competency wise). After looking at a couple of candidates I went with Dr Janjua. Best decision I made that year. Since then I have a doctor who actually gives a crap AND is incredibly knowledgeable and technically proficient. If there an issue she will move me into her schedule as quick as possible and loops my other doctors in as needed. I've been so impressed I recommended her to my son and he has also been very pleased. Her specialty is internal medicine which at my age is appropriate. I can't recommend her highly enough.

Regardless not okay + everything took multiple tries like my heart rate, blood pressure, and most importantly gluing the cut on my head, which is what I went in for and never got 100% fixed. After being glued up by the nurse, went into the car and realized I was still bleeding. Went back in for a touch up and by then the office was closing so I had to leave right away. When I went home I still had a section that wasn't glued up and all the blood ended up dripping out of that opening. Could have done better myself with some glue from the drug store while concussed. After resting for a day, my shin had began to hurt really from when I fell backwards down some steps stairs after my head impact. Went to a hospital to ensure no fractures, which they confirmed was just a bad bruise. Wish I had gotten everything done with one visit instead of having to go to the hospital less than 48 hours later and waste a bunch of $$$ and time. Think a few of their 5 star reviews are also fake. I did but go here because it was close to where I got injured & of the high rating on Yelp. They also have offices in Michigan where I'm from so thought if I needed to go back it would have been easier. Needless to say I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you need a script or something from the doctor and not any assistance from the nurse.
