I thought back in the 80's that when I was an adult that when going to the DR everything would be state of the art, futuristic, and the medical staff better than ever... unfortunately this is the future of medical care and its only going to get worse. You've seen all those cheesy medical commercials with the "we care" and "our patients are our first priority" slogans that you WANT to believe but we've all come to realize they mean that as much as I really mean to be a vegan, which means not much. The front staff here could care less that you are here or if your in pain. I've come here many times and both receptionists I see barely make eye contact, never a smile, and act like they are the drive thru takers at Jack in the Box... "tell me what you need and get out of my face" even though your in pain, know your about to be, scared, etc. Most times you feel like your back in high school about to see the principle. Even though your supposed to be there at the right time they feel that time is a "suggested time". Kinda like when you see the expiration date to drink milk by x date but you go over depending how desperate you are for cocoa puffs. Example, if your appointment is at 11am be prepared to wait until 11:30am - 11:45am to be seen then another 15 - 30 minutes while in the room. The waiting room is small and cramped and has that DMV "OMG the walls are closing in on me" feel to it. When your actually privileged enough to be seen by one of their doctors you almost feel like your dealing with the Dr's that BARELY made being a Dr. They are almost comically bad. I mean is this the JR Varsity of medical care here?? Worse one is an Indian male Dr who could not understand english and the most arrogant rude Dr I've seen. To top off the DR gave me meds that were NOT to be combined! Overall, THIS is what medical care is now. Dr's who cannot understand English to relate or really talk with their patients, Dr's/ staff who care less about patients and more about just getting through the day, and a fast food type of environment where your rushed in and out like cattle or a number. The care factor at this place is zero, its incredibly horrible, lacks any type of professionalism, but no matter how bad things are this IS the future of medical care... welcome to the future Marty McFly and like Marty... I see lots of other vbad reviews here, so I will help everyone out. Read no further, just don't go here unless you are forced to. This place specializes in workman's comp claims, so it sucks and is supposed to suck. They make it awful on purpose so people won't want to come here. That way maybe you will stop coming and your employer can then stop paying your disability. It sounds like some other people might have actually come here for care, unfortunately I don't think that is really the purpose here. The whole purpose is to fill out paper work and basically make you want to drop your workplace injury claim against your employer. Hope this helps set everyone straight. read more

The administrative personnel and nursing assistants are the sole reason I gave a better review than I would've originally. The doctor on duty, dr. Dugal has been the least professional and least customer- centered doctor I have ever had from any medical facility. I felt bullied when telling him my symptoms, and even though I explained my problems 3 different times to the medical team there, he was totally oblivious to the purpose of my visit. I will excuse the long wait times because he was the only on-duty doctor. He spent the entire time looking at his computer and I felt largely ignored . He ended up not being able to help my condition, and I apologized for wasting his time. I would not recommend his services. read more

Longest waiting time... There are only 3 doctors available all day(3 shifts per day, there is one doctor available in each shift). I waited for 2 hours before my bleeding head got treated. First time here for a drug screen test for a job and I'm already regretting it. Signed in as a walk in an hour ago. Believe me when I say I don't mind waiting. I have asked twice how long it might be. I know urgent care and the wait. If they tell me two hours, I can come back after one hour. Both times they can't tell me how long two other drug tests ahead of me might take. Not even an estimate? I don't care if they tell me 4 hours. That's fine. I'll be back after 3 hours. This place is fuckin run by monkeys. I come in and tell them i have a claim number tells me they dont know whats its for. I say employer gave to me to give to them to be seen. Tells me to fill out paper. Wait 1 hour and my coworker walks in and fills out papers gets seen hr later at this point i have waited 2 hours. Then i get told i need to be cleared with a call or claim number. I look at her with pure rage and say that i gave to her earlier to which she reaponds oh well it wasnt me that you gave it to. Came in here on a Friday afternoon and was greeted by a friendly receptionist. Very easy process and super friendly workers like Teresa (forgot her last name) made my day. We all have different experience when it comes to these types of things such as drug testing, but we need to come to an understanding. People have their days when it's not going right for them. I was there for my works annual physical exam. I made my appointment, arrived on time. Waited half hour to be called and was told that their radiology tech was not there so i was sent to a different facility in Santa Clara as well..the staff told me that it would be very fast for me because I was already registered...however there was no communication between two centers. I had to wait 3 hours to be able to be seen. Super inefficient. The appointment itself only lasted for 10 mins..3 hours for 10 mins of visit. Ridiculous. Just a horrible experience read more

I just had the worst experience at the Drs office that I've ever had in my life. Dr Joseph Cherian swore during my visit, he poked my stomach too aggressively without telling me he was going to do so to try and prove a point, (I went in for abdominal pain) and we had already done that part of the exam earlier, he was condisending right off the bat, kept asking me questions then cutting me off. Wouldn't answer my questions thoroughly. Kept putting words in my mouth while taking my report and I'd have to correct him and say thats not what I said. The most unprofessional Dr I've ever dealt with. I don't get mad easily and I'm so disgusted and upset right now. read more

Oh my, do I wish I would have read the reviews before going here. I will try and make this short and sweet. Visited this place twice. Both times the wait was over and hour, and once seen by the so-called 'doctors', they did absolutely NOTHING to help. There was a huge language barrier, they were unprofessional, and I know that they're doctors, or so they claim, but they seem like they don't know what the heck they're doing. Also, once you FINALLY get into a room, they make you wait and wait and wait even more. Both times visiting I had to wait at least another half-hour total once I was in a room. Please don't waste your time or spend your money here. Go somewhere else, where you can get help if you are injured or in pain. Shame on me for going there twice! read more

And I overheard that another patient that has been here longer than I have needs to wait until 3:30 because the DR. Is running late and might be 2 hours wait after that. Spent over an hour waiting to be seen for a nasty knife cut - I managed to mostly stop the geyser of blood myself and just needed a "qualified" "professional" to take a look and advise me on how to care for a deep wound on my finger and give me a tetanus shot. No dice. The room was packed when I arrived at 3:45 PM. Eventually, the room emptied out until I was alone. It was 5 PM by then. I asked how much longer I was going to need to wait and was told, after the receptionist waddled to the back somewhere and returned, that I'd need to wait another half an hour "or more." It was unclear when I would be seen and by whom - employees of the center kept clocking out and leaving. This is not much of an Urgent Care center, despite all the signs. There were people getting routine check-ups or tests done, and it did not seem to matter why I was there. The place looks unkempt and dirty. (Even while still hoping to be seen, I started to panic - what if they make this cut even worse by introducing infection???) The staff will ignore you indefinitely. As I was getting my copay refunded, the receptionist started telling me how nice my jacket is. Shut the front door, lady. My advice: go ANYWHERE ELSE. read more

It was the small asian woman with absolutely no personality no bedside manner. Could not take my blood pressure correctly, measured my height wrong and added 10 pounds to my weight. US Healthworks hired a great manager, Lisa, who is really making things better here as well as an amazing Physician Assistant, Philip Gosvener. Gosvener is here 1-2 days a week, and when he is, things just fly. I spent a week shadowing in this clinic and was really impressed by how happy patients were with Gosvener's care and how his wait times were max 10 minutes. read more

I chose US Healthworks as I had been to them in the past (Milpitas location). It was the first place I thought of when I needed care for my work injury. My first appointment, I did have to wait a bit, but I forgot that these places are busy and I did walk in and had an expectation of getting in and out. (I had to apologize to the nurse for being testy!) OOPS! First thing I recognize is Dr. Potter! He had been my treating physician back in the 90's at the Milpitas location. That put me at ease right away! I have had nothing but great, methodical care. They have a great system in place to make sure I get what I need! All the staff is wonderful! Angie goes above and beyond to assist in PT authorization and appointment accommodation. I had my first acupuncture treatment and the man is amazing! Emmanual and Joyti in PT are professional and personable. There are many folks behind the scenes as well that help make things flow. It is a well oiled machine. Soviet breadline service here. Be prepared to wait while wanting to eat a bullet. I blew my back out at work in 2011 and was forced to use this places "services" that they offer. After six months of suicidal agony I finally got an MRI out of these jamochs and they found out I had three blown discs with nerve impingement. Dr Radu's solution was more pills and some shots. The pills ate a hole in my stomach and the shots just made my back hurt worse. If I ever return to this place it will be in a body bag. read more

I had a really bad experience at this center. They seem to care little for the people and just wanting to get over with things. I had to wait for more than one hour for my appointment. Noone was apologetic about it. The receptionist just said she will let me know when a room becomes available. Finally, after the hour + wait time, when I went to the room, the doctor came and pretended to be "upset" as the papers were not in place and the fact that I had classified my entry as "new" rather than "continuing" patient - I was new to the facility, but had my physician from Alliance previously. The receptionist should have told me the requirement for which way to classify it - not my fault! They did not have the paperwork in place and Dr Curtis Rollins, instead of being patient (yes, I was there for a reason, not for entertainment) and asking more about my problem and giving me atleast near term recommendations to handle pain, asked the appointment to be rescheduled to 2 weeks out to get paperwork in place. Ofcourse, I am never going back here - can't believe the inhuman treatment! The first words he said were - "I am not going to prescribe any more Chiropractic visits, you have already got 6 done" without any questions, about my pain, changes,any details. He did not even ask where the pain was! So much for my hr's wait! I would NEVER recommend anyone to visit this place unless you have to chose between dying and going here - maybe a slight chance someone will care for you at that point...... read more

I received a phone call from the M.D. that usually saw me at my visits today, apologizing for my wait - it's not her fault, as she wasn't working on the day that I went in. Quite frankly, I did not have any problems with the doctors or nursing staff, the care they provided was totally fine with me. Dr. Munoz is very caring and Teresa is very gentle at drawing blood. The M.D.s and nursing staff do not have anything to apologize about, but it is typical that they are usually the only ones who care when things go wrong. I do not blame the doctors or nurses for my experience. The problem was the scheduling and whoever's in charge of that really needs to rethink how they book appointments - being on time or late is the first impression patients get when they walk in. No matter what, healthcare is a business, and how long businesses stay open depends on how patients/clients view their experience. read more

Paper thin walls, grade 0 level everything. My doctor looked like a cartoon character. Alll they did was give me a bag of (surely overpriced) junk. A heating pad which stayed on 5 minutes, a bunch of wrist splints which didn't fit comfortably. A real experience in Obamacare. Thank god it was a work-related injury. If this was my primary insurance/care, I'd rather jump off of a cliff. read more

I came here for my wrist sprain which the pain travels up to my elbow and causes a lot of pain whenever i move my left hand. I'm a single mom so i had to take my baby with me i waited a long time to see the doctor and my baby already cried and screaming they said i have to do an xray one of the female staff told me to leave my baby in the room because it wouldn't take long for the xray to be done of course i said no who leaves a child unattended? So she had the manager watch the baby unfortunately my xray got cancelled due to possibility that i'm pregnant. Stepped out pushing my baby in a carseat on a stroller with one hand to go to the parking lot. Although in so much pain as i tried to detach the carseat from the stroller the carseat flipped sideways and almost fell down. That's one of the reasons why i didn't come to my next appointment in pain and with a baby? I was told by the doctor that i can't lift more than 15 lbs and my baby is more than 17 lbs nobody even volunteered to help this place is already a NO NO!! I was ready to give this place a negative feedback but still gave it another try. The doctor always takes forever to see me and always apologetic about it. he was nice but i hope they don't set a lot of appointments if they can't accommodate patients on time. So they already blame me for missing my appointments. I missed 1 physical therapy and i contacted them via phone to reschedule and i was told that i have to see the doctor first because the case is already more than a month. How can i get better without getting any physical therapy!! So i was seen by the doctor again and said i deserve to have the therapy because that's what i came there for. He asked me how much my baby weighs i said more than 17 he also found that to be 1 of the reason why i'm not getting better. So i had my physical therapy started and that's the best part to help me get a lot better i still have a few physical therapy left but after being seen by a black doctor who asked me a few questions he then released me i was still suppose to have my physical therapy after that but he cancelled it i was so disappointed i feel like i lost my voice to speak up but just hoping all goes well. I'm a lot better now but not fully it has been almost 2 months but i could still feel tingling sensations on my wrist to my elbow everytime my muscle stretches. I WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!! SAVE YOUR TIME! read more

I give this place five-stars for excellence in sucking a$$! The doctors have a horrendous bed-side manner. Even if you have an appointment, you will be waiting up to an hour on a good day. The medical staff is not sympathetic towards paitents with special needs. I leave feeling like either cattle being led to slaughter or a part on an assembly line, depending on what I am there for. If you can avoid going to this place, do so. If you are there for a workers comp claim, hire a lawyer and get your own doctor. More often than not, I am "offered" narcotic pain medication from the drug dealers in white coats rather than a substantial solution for my problems. read more
