We stumbled upon it in a tourist magazine advertising their live music. When we arrived, we didn't realize you have to make a reservation for food (be sure to do this in advance). If you don't have one, you can order drinks by the bar and enjoy the fire pit, farm space, and/or live music MAJOR shout out to Greg. The hostess told us if Greg was ok with squeezing us in for food we could do it, and he made it work. They gave us a seat by the live music. We ordered their margherita pizza, lamb burger, and blueberry cheesecake. I'm at a loss for words on how to describe how incredible each dish was. I lived in Maine for a summer 10 years ago. I already know the food scene here is incredible. But this was next level. The pizza was everything I dream for in a Neapolitan pizza. The sauce was delicious and the crust, perfection. We couldn't get over how much we adored the corn. And the lamb burger was great!! My favorite dish was the cheesecake and the way it melted in my mouth. Wow I wish I was there right now. We bought some honey for home. It's a big space and almost feels like a wedding reception when you eat in the main dining room. You have the chance to explore the farm and see all the animals. I highly recommend coming here. The food is beyond amazing.

The ambience is wonderful and the food great and thoughtfully prepared. Of course the dessert was amazing... we tried both options. Bonus: a summer rain and a double rainbow over the barn! What's not to love. Our guests from CA/TX had the best time. Can't wait to come back!

Once we parked on the lawn parking area, weapproached the backyard where there was a sign instructing us to either ring the bell provided or honk our car horn to get the owner's attention. I elected to ring the bell and the farmer's five-year-old son heard it and called to his dad (as he was instructed to do). Ben, the farmer, greeted us with a warm welcome. He gave us the origin story of the ranch. It was very obvious about he and his wife's passion for these animals. We got a great lesson about these animals. We were able to go into pasture areas for the male and female alpacas (they are kept separate). We learned a lot about the animals and about the fiber from them. After the tour, we went into the small retail area. Ben explained that they have a larger retail shop in town Belfast. We purchased several pairs of socks; their price point wasn't that much different than wool socks. At the entrance sign, there is a small donation box. The tour is free, but the donations are very important. These, along with purchases from the retail store support the great care for their animals. We were there about an hour. It was a great experience.

Ben went with us on the walk and even took a ton of photos for us to remember the experience. We learned a lot about the alpacas and the farm. We had the pleasure of walking Gaius and Maestro. Gaius was mischievous and made the walk interesting. We got to love on their unique personalities for the entire walk. The walk was well worth the small fee! Then we got a chance to visit all the females and they are feisty! I had one spot in my face as they were all bombarding me for treats - and it was hilarious more than anything. I can't wait to return to visit these beautiful animals.

I could never have imagined how this visit would literally change our lives. Long story short, we have become the owners of a beautiful female Alpaca, Carina. She will stay with her family at the farm and be well taken care for by the amazing, passionate staff. We have family not too far from the farm, who can go visit her. Now we have an excuse to visit Maine more often as well.

The session was so informative and the many alpacas were adorable. It was funny to see all my colleagues paying such close attention and asking many questions, which our hostess very warmly accommodated. During a recent vacation to Maine, I couldn't pass up the chance to see the alpacas in real life! They offer free tours and we joined a few others upon arrival. Everyone was wearing masks and following covid guidelines. Everyone we encountered was very kind and knowledgeable. It was such a joy to see the alpacas and the farm in-person -- highly recommend for all ages! My husband, who was not entirely thrilled to make a detour on our road trip to the farm, truly enjoyed it as well. Of course, we stopped by the gift shop where it is very hard to resist buying something of their soft fluffy wool.
