Believe it was because he was under 18 (17 year old) signed for him to take the 2 day beginner class. I was told "we are not here to babysit your kid" among other unprofessional comments . Contract is a money grab but they will gladly take more of your money if you want to try again! Don't bother wasting your money and not surprised they are not registered with the BBB with an owner of such caliber!

There is a ton to learn and 24 hours was barely enough -- I cannot imagine trying to learn all this with the 10 hour course. Everyone I have met at NCTDA has been super helpful -- there is nothing like working with professional people who really know their stuff.

I am writing to provide feedback regarding my recent experience while inquiring about childcare…read moreservices at your facility. My intention in sharing this is to highlight potential areas for improved communication and information accuracy. Following an initial email inquiry where I detailed my specific requirement for a particular part-time childcare arrangement, I received confirmation that a suitable opening was available. Based on this information, I proceeded to schedule a prospective tour of your facility. However, upon my arrival for the scheduled tour, I was informed that the specific part-time arrangement I had outlined is not, in fact, offered at this location. This information directly contradicted the prior communication I had received. I was then advised to contact your other facility. Fortunately, I chose to call ahead to the second location, only to discover that they also do not provide the specific childcare arrangement I require. This series of events has regrettably resulted in a considerable expenditure of my time and has unfortunately left me back at the starting point in my search for childcare. It is essential that prospective clients receive accurate and consistent information regarding available programs and services from all staff members, particularly those in leadership positions. Ensuring clarity in service offerings can prevent misunderstandings and unnecessary inconvenience for families seeking your services.

Kid City in Longmont has been an absolute lifesaver! We moved to Colorado without knowing the area…read moreor anyone around. We toured several schools for our Littles and there was no doubt about it that Monica, the Director, runs an incredible program. The length of time that teachers stay there says everything you need to know. Our one year-old had never been in a daycare center, and we were very concerned about his transition. The teachers in his room were so loving and welcoming, it made such an easy transition. The teachers in the threes room were equally as caring and wonderful. They are so great about posting pictures and sending home art on special days. The teachers surprised us with an amazing birthday project for daddy. I truly feel that Monica went above and beyond in any way she could to help us feel comfortable with registration, starting the new school, even providing two uniform shirts to help us start out. Unfortunately, because of our relocation, we had to leave the school and it was the hardest decision to pull them away. Any kiddo and their parents would be lucky to have their kids at Kid City Colorado!
