First time trying this place and I really love it. I went with some friends and we shared a few appetizers. The nachos were so good and honestly big enough for one person, but perfect to share. The guacamole was fresh and tasty, just a little small for sharing. For drinks, I got the mezcal hibiscus cocktail and it was so good, I would definitely get it again. For my food, I had the tacos al pastor and steak tacos. Both had a lot of flavor and were really good. The al pastor was just a little dry, but still tasty. Dessert was amazing too, the churros and the horchata panna cotta were both delicious. Overall really good experience. Good food, great service, nice vibe and fun with friends. I would come back for sure!

Con Amar Tampa is one of those spots that gets a lot right, especially if you're going in the mood for good tacos and margaritas. The chips and salsa are a great start, and the pineapple salsa is seriously a standout. Taco-wise, the carne asada and al pastor were both amazing; full of flavor and easily the highlights of the meal. The chicken tacos were good too, but had more heat than expected, so just keep that in mind if you're not big on spice. The enchilada were tasty as well! The margaritas are solid and pair perfectly with everything, especially during happy hour, which is honestly a great deal and worth planning around. Overall, highly recommend--great food, good drinks, and a fun spot to check out in Tampa.

Food was unique and glad to have a different type of Mexican restaurant around really quite enjoyed it Situated at the bottom of a newer apartment complex in Seminole Heights, service was with a smile bartenders were amazing, margaritas, fantastic - went with her rec for the drink, did not disappoint - really enjoyed this place. The fish tacos were a hit Nachos will feed 6 or more! Unique menu to try

This place is decorated so cute inside and the vibes were spot on. We went for brunch and enjoyed all of our entrées. The chips and salsa were very okay. Our server was attentive and brought over something to help clean my friends dress when she spilled salsa on it. We ended with the churros and OMG they were the best I've ever had! We ended up ordering a second order after demolishing the first one lol

This place recently open and for someone who doesn't get the hype of Mexican restaurants, I really enjoyed my meal. Hubby and I went with another couple so here is what we thought: The ambience is great. Although you can only hear the music if sitting at the bar or outdoor patio, it was loud enough to know what was playing but low enough to carry on a conversation. We had the pleasure of sitting right in front of the kitchen. It moved like a well oiled machine. Efficient and quick. And very entertaining. The food was delicious. Male friend had the steak, medium cook, done perfectly. Found the salt on top a great finish. Female friend had the Tetelas and said they were great! The shredded beef was delish, but be sure to ask for a side of chile de arbol. Found everything to be tasty, and good portions, except for the guacamole, which wasn't enough for the amount of chips they provide. And I agree! So if you are hungry, order the nachos instead of the guacamole. Both items are $15 but the nachos look to have so much on it. Hubby also the tetelas and loved it. He barely talked because he was so into his dish. I had the pleasure of having the chicken quesadillas. At first I was worried about it being bland, but it most definitely wasn't. It comes with a side of hot sauce (which I avoided) and another sauce which was a great addition. Although our server was sweet and helpful the bar service could use a little work. We ordered our drinks first, but didn't get them until AFTER we were done with our meal. We were told our drinks would be comp'd b when we did get our drinks and were enjoying it, we were then given another order of drinks by another server. We told her we didn't order another round of drinks since we just got our initial order, but she still gave it to us and charged us for it. We figured it was because it was still a new restaurant and they were working out the kinks but organization and communication is definitely needed between the bartenders and servers. We would definitely go again, though. The food made up for all the bumps.

What an amazing dinner! The pairing and flavors of EVERYTHING was exquisite. From the drinks, appetizers, entrees and desserts - every flavor, and every ingredient was expertly chosen. The service was the best I've had at any restaurant, it wasn't too loud, and each course was right on time. Loved it - can't wait to go back!

Whilst visiting J's Asian Kitchen we noticed Con Amor across the street and decided that we must go, so today we ventured out to give it a try! We visited around 2 PM and they serve brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. We were hoping for tacos but their brunch menu looked inviting. We started off with chips and queso which was really tasty. I was surprised though that a lot of Mexican restaurants offer chips and salsa at no charge but chips and salsa at this restaurant is $10. Apparently they provide three separate salsas. Chips and queso is also $10. I think that's a little steep but it was tasty. For entrees my husband ordered the quesadillas -again a brunch offering -and I had the breakfast burger. He loved his quesadilla. It came with two types of salsa. One was incredibly spicy and the other one was cream based and very tasty. I do love spicy. It doesn't love me, but I love it and I decided to try his salsa. It was really good very spicy but very good. The burger was delicious though the server did not ask me how I wanted it cooked. It came medium well - topped an egg, cheddar cheese, onions, bacon, and a really tasty habanero marmalade. I actually asked for more of the marmalade as it was yummy- and on the side are two potato hash brown cakes that were also tasty. We really enjoyed the meal and we would like to go back and try their dinner menu. According to the server, who was very very nice, they have been open for about two months and at this point they are not open for lunch service only brunch on the weekends and dinner service during the week and weekend. We'll go back to try their other offerings. We also enjoyed the interior of the restaurant. It's very attractive, very light and airy and they also have a full service bar. Glad to have another option here in Seminole Heights.

Great food, service and atmosphere. They are dog friendly too. They not only brought my pup a water bowl but cute little taco shaped biscuits! The drink I had was amazing! They have large portions that are flavorful and filling!

Con amor is a nice addition to this area. It is a nice vibe outside and inside. I really enjoy that. I can come here with my dog. I really did enjoy their nachos. Their appetizers were pretty tasty. However, when it came to the food. I was a little bit disappointed the tacos weren't as tasty and quite frankly their fish tacos was very disappointing. However, I would still come back. I really enjoy the ambience and the appetizer. Service was OK. They were pretty busy, but they still didn't leave the highest impression

My friend and I decided to try this place out as we noticed it just recently opened. The venue is beautifully decorated, and our service was great. The food was yummy as well! I ordered the Chicken Tacos and my friend ordered the Al Pastor tacos. We also got the Ceviche as a starter. For drinks, I got the Spicy Margarita, and I believe my friend ordered the house Coconut Margarita. My margarita tasted very batch-made, the drink was not good. I would definitely go back, I'd just try and find a different drink!

I loved the ambiance of the place. They have cactus purse holders throughout which is very thoughtful for girls and jackets during winter time. The food was amazing and very affordable. Their mocktails are delicious. I was there for breakfast. The French toast is crispy on the outside and very soft in the middle. Not too sweet which I enjoyed. Can't wait to be back for the dinner service. I loved the shrimp and grits, I just wish it had more shrimp. Overall would recommend. It's a hidden gem in Tampa.

GO HERE!!!!! Small local business that just opened its doors this month. The owners are amazing & have been in tampa bay for years. They took a long time to open but finally are getting their groove. This place deserves the hype. They open up the doors so it's almost an outdoor vibe at the front but you can be completely inside in the back. There's booths, bar seating, regular tables. Full outdoor seating, half outdoor indoor seating, & full indoor seating! What a dream. Open kitchen so you can see everything being made as well. The menu is both authentic/classic & unique/innovative. Something for everyone & anyone. I went the more unique route to try out some of their niche dishes & they did not disappoint. We absolutely loved everything. Staff was awesome & can't wait to be back to try the rest of the menu!!! What we ordered: DRINKS - Mezcamaica: Amares Verde mezcal, hibiscus, orange, lime, tajin rim - La Esmeralda: Mijenta Reposado tequila, passion fruit, lime, honey, angostura bitters, brown sugar rim FOOD - Guac + pork belly: avocado, red onion, jalapeño, lime, corn tortilla chips - Pulpo: leche de tigre aioli, salsa matcha, cilantro, cucumber, radish - Chochoyotes: white corn masa dumplings, duck, pepitas, mandarin slices - Tetelas: deshebrada, Oaxacan cheese, cilantro crema, grilled masa - Street corn

First time visiting and it was a great experience. We came around midday and were able to enjoy their brunch menu (dinner starts after 4pm). Everything we tried was delicious and well-prepared. I ordered the Breakfast Burrito, which had a really unique combination of sweet and spicy flavors, even a hint of pancake inside, which added a great touch. My husband had the steak and eggs, and it was excellent as well. We also shared the Tres Leches French Toast, and it was absolutely amazing. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations. We're definitely looking forward to coming back to try the dinner menu. Highly recommend! Excelente lugar y comida. El personal muy atento y la comida rica. Probamos del menú de Brunch. El Breakfast Burrito, Las tostadas francesas de Tres Leches y Steak y huevo. Muy rico todo. Definitivamente volveremos para probar el menú de la cena.

We started with nachos for the table with chipotle cheese sauce, pickled red onion, pickled chile, guacamole, queso fresco, and sour cream and they were the perfect way to kick everything off. For mains, we ordered the enchiladas poblanas (chicken, queso fresco, house-made mole, crema, onion, and sesame) and shared the steak Tampiqueña with grilled strip steak, refried beans, and rajas corn enchiladas. The steak was genuinely perfection so flavorful and cooked beautifully. I also treated myself to an espresso martini, which was divine...maybe just a little strong, but in the best way. We had a delicious lunch right before our concert, and the location made it super convenient since it was right where we were staying. Overall, such a great sisters' trip meal, amazing food, fun vibe, and a perfect pre-concert stop. Would 100% recommend!!!

What I appreciated most is the build your own taco option, because it allows you to order exactly what you want without paying for a bunch of filler ingredients you were going to push to the side anyway. When you strip it down to the proteins and toppings you actually like, the cost savings are real. In a place like Ybor, where prices can creep up quickly, that matters. Now, the à la carte menu can feel a little confusing at first glance. It is not the most straightforward ordering system if you are just breezing through. But once someone walks you through it and you understand how to piece your order together, it becomes completely worth it. You end up with exactly what you want, and you are not overpaying for things you did not ask for. The vibe was great. The service was friendly and patient, which helps when you are trying to decode the menu. And the location is ideal. There is an outdoor patio with umbrellas on the sunny side of the street, which gives you options. You can sit in the sun if you want that warm Florida glow, or you can stay shaded if you are protecting your skin but still want to be outside watching the action unfold on the strip. And let's be honest, half the entertainment in Ybor is people watching. Add in the random roosters casually strolling around like they own the neighborhood, and you have a full show with your meal. I loved everything about this place and highly recommend it if you want to save a few bucks on food while still soaking up everything Ybor City has to offer. Good tacos, good vibes, good people watching. Hard to beat that combination.

Not much changed from it being the previous locations of other restaurants, but it definitely needs more natural light. It's like eating in a dungeon. The tacos there was a lot going on on the menu and I'm sure this is a niche, but it is not a niche. I am on board with any taco that had ground beef was kind of disgusting the other tacos. You could've made them at home and probably made them better if you're looking for authenticity this is not the place. Service the service was not much to write home about nothing was stellar, but nothing was bad. With all things being equal, this is not a place that I would naturally recommend somebody likes it but it's probably the same people that eat Tijuana flat.
