Great service, laptop screen replaced in less than two hours on the day I took it in. It's now working perfectly. This saved me £250.

Outstanding service! The other day while using my computer it suddenly went off with a bang! I called around the local area to try and find somebody to fix computers. The guy who answered the phone seem to know what the problem was immediately. He suggested I bring it in for a quick diagnosis so that you could give me a rough cost of the repair. Later that day I took it into the store which is conveniently located on the high street with some parking a few yards up from the shop. I was served by a young chap quickly attached my computer to their screens. He concluded that the power supply had indeed blown. But wasn't sure if it had taken anything out with it. He asked if I can go and get a cup of coffee while he checked it out further. I gave my details and booked the computer in. I had to do a bit of shopping anyway so I went to the local superstore to kill some time. I wasn't there long before I had a text asking if I could call the shop. I made the call and was glad to hear that It was just the power supply that need replacing. They gave me a quote which I was very happy with and told me that the computer would be ready for collection in 15 Minutes. I finish my shopping and return to the computer shop to see my computer on the counter running with all my files still in the same place. So if you have a computer that needs repairing I can 100% recommend these guys. polite, fast, Knowledgeable and reasonably priced. read more

A great experience... I spilt water over over my apple macbook, and as a result the laptop would not power up. I phoned this computer show after finding it on here. They reassured me on the phone that my data could be saved, and possibly the laptop itself. They asked me not to charge or switch it on, and bring it to the store as soon as possible. After entering the store I felt reassured as there were plenty of customers collecting there equipment, and thanking the staff for a good service. I proceeded to book in my macbook. and left the store. A few days later I got a text to say the laptop was repaired and the fee was £65. I revisited the store to collect the laptop. I was shown my laptop working with all my data, and desktop just as I left it. I'm so happy. Thank you, Thank you Thank You! Trish. read more

Staff really rude when I went into the shop to resolve an issue whereby the shop had failed to repair a laptop after 3 attempts. When notified and asked to provide a refund since they had failed to provide an adequate service the gentlemen became very abnoxious and asked us to leave his shop. No refund ever offered and the laptop taken elsewhere, upon which it was discovered screws had been taken out (probably lost) and instead of being replaced a piece of tape was used to cover up the relevant area. Mousepad and Wifi had been disconnected and not reconnected at last repair attempt. In the end the final repair job to resolve the issues this company had created cost more than the original job that they were initially paid to do. read more

Been using them for years. The staff are really knowledgeable proper geeks, they have knowledge of Microsoft and Apple hardware as well as laptops. Remember that for every "bad" review there's always 100 jobs well done. Most people only take the time to write a review when things go wrong. These guys are good! read more

Gave examples of what I wanted - staff checked in the store to make sure it matched the specifications. Worked perfectly out of the box. Came with everything needed (didn't need cables, etc, but offered for free if I did). Went back two days later for a new monitor - cables, etc, again offered for free. Set up immediately. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. If you're in Bangor and need a PC or parts for it, or repairs, I really don't think you could do better.

I had an issue with my Dell laptop, the version of Microsoft Windows was out of date. I called around various computer stores in the area. The person who answered the phone was very helpful and advised me to upgrade a few components so I could run Windows 10. The job took a fews days longer than I was expecting. However I now have a fully functioning, fast Laptop. The shop is a small independent affair, they seem very busy, and the phone was ringing non stop whilst I was there. I would happily recommend this store, my only criticism is they may over promise, but to be fair they do deliver in the end. read more

I have been going to this shop for many years, I can honestly say I have had nothing but great service. Recently I purchased a new computer system of them. The price was a little more than what you would pay from an online store, but not by much. The system works beautifully, smooth and fast, I had windows 10 installed, I have not used it before and its great. I did have one issue when I got home with my old scanner. Today i had a problem with my macbook air's wifi. I visited this computer shop and asked for some help. I turns out that the wifi card in my mac was faulty. The had one in stock and fitted it while I waited. The WIFI now functions as it should and I can now continue with my studies. The repair was a little expensive, but the job was done super fast. My only other option was to goto an Apple store in Liverpool or Manchester. So if you factor in the cost of travel this was actually a great deal. read more

I was on holiday in Bangor when my laptop developed an issue way out of my control. Thanks to Rob the owner of the Computer MOT Centre it was fixed in less than 2hrs. What a brilliant, fast, and friendly service. And the cost of fixing my computer problem was more than affordable. The service here was excellent... I took my laptop in to be repaired and the guy there did absolutely everything he could to remedy the problem before finding the solution and getting the laptop working again... And he only charged me a low flat rate fee... I thought I was going to have to send it away and be without it for ages... Thanks guy! Highly recommended read more

Very Happy.. Macbook pro 15", Lines down screen. I took it to Apple and they quoted me way too much to replace my screen. I took it to these guys. Screen and cover glass replaced at a fraction of the cost. They fixed my trackpad as well at no extra cost. 5***** read more

My computer went flash bang the other day so I took it to the Computer MOT Centre. They fixed it on the spot, it required a new Power unit. Within 15Mins it was back up and running. £45.00 inc the part. read more
