I initially wanted to sign up for an aerial yoga class, but was prompted to take a "beginner" pole…read moreclass instead because it started sooner. It turned out the class was a Beginner II rather than an intro, and the instructor was more of a demonstrator than a teacher. Despite struggling, I still enjoyed the class enough to sign up for a second session. That session was oversold, as the only pole available had a huge floor flaw that was TAPED over. Over the course of the class, the tape and adhesive became tackier and eventually ruined the shoes I was wearing for the first time. This resulted in my shoes literally sticking to the floor, so I couldn't complete a move and ended up painfully smashing my knees against the edge of the pole base, resulting in bruises on both. Despite being oversold and unsafe, the studio refuses to refund my session fee. I had two credits from signing up for the first session, and I asked for a refund after the 2nd class of the 2nd session. I should have my entire fee refunded, but they took two weeks to write me back and let me know that because the semi-present instructor didn't know I was in pain, they are going to KEEP MY MONEY?!?! The instructor saw me trying to remove the tape and goo from my shoes, but they are literally going to try to weasel out of being accountable with this. They should refund me for my session, replace my shoes, and acknowledge that their studio is UNSAFE, their classes are oversold, and their practices are shady. Really disgusted by the entire experience, it's a shameful way to run a business, and the lack of concern and support is negligent and irresponsible.

Seeing Erin and going to Crystal Lake Reiki & Acupuncture has changed my life. I always look…read moreforward to my reiki sessions with her. At first I didn't know what to expect because I had never even heard of reiki. I was already dabbling in crystals, with sage, and meditation so I was open to the idea of reiki. After the first few sessions I knew that this was something I needed. I never expected what I would take from our sessions, but she has helped me to realize and allow myself to let go, allow myself to heal, love myself, loving others and just understanding more of my spirit and the journey that I am on. I also got my first ever acupuncture treatment from her as well. She made sure I was very comfortable because I was nervous about the needles. I had talk about how bad my anxiety was about travel as well as pain in my shins that I've had. We did a treatment right before I went on a trip and it was the best vacation I ever had. I wasn't anxious one bit! There were times I couldn't even go on vacation because my anxiety was crippling or if I made it I was suffering. That trip was amazing, I had moments of anxiety but nothing I couldn't work through. I was also complaining about shin pain as well. I have had shin pain for as long as I can remember for the last 10 years of working in the restaurant buisness. I figured it was just me over working myself, or maybe just too long of a shift that day. I got an acupuncture treatment and I haven't had that pain since. 10/10 high recommend 5 stars Erin is amazing at what she does. She's passionate, knowledgeable, hilarious, and comfortable to be around. Making sure that you understand that you as a person are amazing.
