What a great facility! A hidden gem in Eagle Rock that has friendly, competent staff who work efficiently. I came in today as a new patient and the onboarding process was a breeze thanks to their digital paperwork. I was seen almost immediately and brought in by Cherry for intake. Even with a couple hiccups in the computer system, this was relatively pain free as well, and I did not have to wait long to see Dr. Chang - who, by the way, is AWESOME. Great bedside manner, very professional and approachable, and considerate of my many medical issues I was hoping to have addressed. After going several years without a primary doctor, this visit was such a relief and brought me hope. I just want Dr. Sam to know I found a great dentist who said I didn't have gum bone loss the rest I won't duscuss here I just want him to know I think he was not competent or he didn't want to help me. Why does CCHC keep him he diagnosed me wuth severe gum bone loss and 3 other dentists I've seen said nothing abiut severe gum loss. People think twice before you see him. Also, I just want to share that it took almost a wk for them to refill my meds none of the employees I spoke with had the decency to tell me Dr. Iqbal was on vacation I waa given the run around then Laura from the front office gave me an appt to see Dr Taurus when I came they couldn't find me in the system a nice girl but incompetent giod thing Ava jumped in to help me she took care of everything but I was informed that this clinic us notorious for med refill it takes forever to ok a refill, yet there seemed to be so many employees working. Disappointing. I will discuss this when I see Dr. Taurus for the first time. They need to improve their services. read more

I had an unpleasant experience as a first-time patient. After completing my pre-check-in form, I waited a few minutes to be called in. When my scheduled appointment time had passed, I approached the receptionist with dyed blonde hair, in her mid-30s, and Hispanic to inquire about the delay. She asked me to wait, so I returned to my seat. A short time later, she called me back to inform me that I would need to reschedule. When I asked for an explanation, she told me it was because I had not completed the online check-in form within 15 minutes. I was dumbfounded, as I had arrived thirty minutes early and completed the form accordingly. I have never heard of a hospital that would not let you see them because you did not fill out the form within 15 minutes. Additionally, her tone during our interactions came across as rude and condescending. Based on this experience, I do not feel welcomed returning to this clinic. I would encourage others to consider alternative clinics, particularly if they are not Hispanic or Latino, as I felt racially discriminated against. read more

Came for bloodwork after a dr requested it the day before. Arrived at 830am on the dot. One lady in from of me was there first and then me. Customer #3 went in before both of us. Customer #4 goes in. Customer #1 finally asks when it's gonna be her turn because she was there at 815am. She eventually gets in. At 945am I hear someone else waiting for blood work when it's gonna be, they say she's next. I already lost count on what number they're on because I also had to use the bathroom since I needed to be hydrated and was waiting for over an hour already. I go to the front desk just to check when I'll be next, since I have to go to work, and and I have to give my information all over again, and he said he'll double check. I Sat down, he came back, and never told me. I had to get up again to ask him how long.... I was next now. I understand there's no appointments, but why would you jump around in a line of people. The bloodwork took 2 minutes. It took me longer to use the bathroom for a surprise Urine test, remember I just used the bathroom 15 minutes prior. Super frustrating especially because the day before the nurse and doctor were so nice. Please work a better system for bloodwork, because waiting for 1 hour 30 minutes for 5 minutes of my time sucks. read more

Dr Yosefpour is amazing! She did 2 nail bed removal on one of my toes, what was super ingrown. She explained everything before the procedure and she was very gentle and fast. I want to state that the front desk staff are helpful and kind but please read on and see my experience with the doctor. I can't in good conscience give any review besides a 1 star. I was placed with doctor Muhammad R Iqbal and had a terrible visit. I am new to LA so when I got my new insurance I was given a doctor. I don't know any doctors so I was fine to try the one they gave me, after no phone calls back and no ways to reach that doctor I called to ask for another doctor. They gave me a new doctor [who turned out to be at the same clinic. red flag on the return calls etc?]. I finally got ahold of someone to make an appointment for an intake exam and first visit. When I arrived they had made that appointment with a different doctor [fingers crossed my insurance works for a random doctor. also red flag number 2] The doctor they gave me was Muhammad R Iqbal. The service and help and bedside manner were Abhorrent. I had to demand that he make time for my questions as he was trying to leave very fast. When he finally addressed me as a human all his answers were very short and terse and made me feel like an idiot. The thing is, that I am very educated and have a lot of knowledge about the questions I was asking. I have been working with high cholesterol for 3 years and acid reflux for even longer, so I have tried a LOT of methods to work on these. His answers were SO fast just to tell me to take the first drug he could think of and be done. The thing about just throwing medication at a problem is that then the patient is reliant on those drugs for their life rather than fixing any of the underlying causes. He didn't even wait to find out that I have actually tried those medications. When I tried to say that I understood those medications and have a working knowledge of the anatomy and physiology surrounding the problems and potential solutions he got frustrated with me and made up a problem that clearly wasn't real. He said it was my fault for being overweight and that my weight was pulling on my esophagus and my stomach sphincter. When I asked for more information about how that worked in the body he explained to me what a sphincter was and thought that would be enough to make me believe his diagnosis. Sadly I do know what that is AND that there aren't any ropes from the gut to the sphincter that will keep it open. Sure there are some parallels between weight and acid reflux and cholesterol but those are mostly to do with diet and exercise, not belly strings pulling your stomach open. He went on to suggest other medications which I also know to be short fixes and not problem solvers AND suggested that I sleep propped up, which again is a way to mitigate the symptoms and fix none of the problems.  He was rude.  He did not present as a knowledgeable practitioner of medicine.  I am sorry that others have to have him as their doctor.  I am fortunate enough to have enough working knowledge to advocate for myself. If I didn't know more I would have come out of that meeting on medication for life and no greater information on myself or ways to be better. Medication with a lot of side effects that can't be stopped.  I am sorry for anyone that will have life-altering encounters with this man.  I do not trust him and I no longer trust an establishment that will have him as a staff member. read more

At CCHC nurse Ani at Dr. Airapetian office was absolutely amazing at her job, especially when it comes to drawing blood! Whenever I've had trouble with other nurses not being able to get my blood drawn, they always call on Ani, and she never fails to come to the rescue. I feel completely at ease and comfortable with Ani. Her patience and knowledge are truly impressive, and she always goes above and beyond to make sure everything goes smoothly. Ani is the kind of nurse you want by your side, making things happen with a smile. If you ever need to get your blood drawn, Ani is definitely the one you want taking care of you. If I could give this place less than one star I would. I made an appointment for 2:15pm and I was later called by a staff member who tried changing my appointment for me. I need to see a Dr and they want to rearrange my schedule when I am the one in pain and need to see a Dr. then they followed up with saying that they can't accommodate my scheduled appointment but I can do a walk in......? Really ? How does this even make sense? I've been sitting here for two hours now and I asked for assistance and with an attitude I was told that I need to be patient. Wow! CCHS has been a reliable place to go to for years. My mom has taken me there and I now take my own child. The whole staff is always so welcoming and hardworking. Dr. Chang, who has been my doctor, has always been direct and clear with me about my care. She lets me know what is best for me when I worry and has always been so attentive with whatever issues I've come in to get addressed. The nurses have always been great with my son, especially during vaccines. Overall, a great place. read more

Starting with my last visit with Dr. Baycher in Glendale she was the third eye doctor I seen and she was the one to diagnose the situation and treat it. She took all her time in examine my eyes and found the diagnosis. She's like an old friend. Very kind. Today it was nice to see Ani, Dr. Airapetians ex nurse very kind and sweet. I met Deja today, she's very compassionate, friendly, courteous and Dr. Maggie felt like we've known each other for ever. Dr. Maggie is very knowledgeable cut nails with no pain. I am trying to be patient for all the troubles you've been giving to me, Missing City Scan result, not answering request from the Pharmacy, not listening and not genuinely care to the patient and a lot more... and this clinic have a very poor systems from Glendale to Eagle Rock office. I 've been patient of Dr. Vladimir Samonte and suddenly he is gone without informing us, we just learn that he is no longer with them when we schedule for physical and unfortunately assign to a PA only. Mrs. Rachel Cayago (PA) and worst always not in the clinic and a simple questions regarding your medication (maintenance) that just inherit from Dr. Samonte have been change to a one refill!!!!!!! Imagine your maintenance for years was cancelled or made a mistake request and I still need to seen her for no reason and waited for another months!!!!! I went to this so called "doctor" Wen Shi Chang on thursday and complained about back pain and ask to be examined. She looked at my face for 15 seconds and said " you are totally fine its a muscle pain because of your posture " and ran out immediately, I said "but...." it was too late she was out from the room. After 2 days, on Saturday I have been hospitalized by emergency, cause the pain became so bad I was crying and was helpless, turned out I have big stones in my kidney which have been moved and the pain was because of that! She looked at her face for seconds and said its because of Your posture! Really??? No exam, no test no screening? Diagnose by looking at her face? 2 days later SAturday March 7 my sister have been hospitalized by emergency due to back pain and it turned out she has big stones on her Kidney which are moving! Because of her MISDIAGNOSIS (see misdiagnosis definition below) my sister went through the hell of pain! Which could have been determined 2 days sooner before it started moving! MISDIAGNOSIS: a medical misdiagnosis is a result of a physician's failure to: send the patient to an appropriate specialist screen for a particular disease or condition read the lab test results properly consult properly with the patient about his or her symptoms follow through and determine possible causes of the patient's symptoms. What to do in this case: First File a claim against the doctor with MEDICAL BOARD OF (YOUR STATE) And Second: Find medical malpractice lawyer on your case as quickly as possible! I've had a good experience coming to this location the times I've went; my doctor is knowledgeable and very helpful, really difficult for me to find a doctor that I like, plus the staff is attentive (unlike A lot of other clinics). Went here to get my blood checked and they did it within 15-20min. My checkup today went pretty quickly, total time was about 45min. The downside would be parking...they only have about 8spots in the back (including 1 disabled spot). read more

I've been a patient of Dr. Chang at this location for 6+ years. She's great--patient, listens, answers your questions, and seems to genuinely care. The staff have also mostly been great. But things have changed this past year. First, this location (and it seems like the entire CCHR network) switched to a call center, so you can no longer call the office directly. They also will not give out a direct number to the office. So each time I try to contact my doctor's office, I have to call the call center, be placed on hold or wait 15-20 minutes for a call back, explain my question to the operator, who will not know the answer to my question, wait for the operator to contact the clinic to ask the question, and then return to try to answer my question (which almost never works well). It's become very frustrating and time-consuming to get answers to simple logistical questions. Second, I've been getting conflicting appointment information from the staff and they won't adjust to resolve it. In preparation for my upcoming annual physical, the practice for the entire time I've been a patient here for the past 6 years has been that I go in a week ahead to get my blood drawn so that the results will be available for my appointment. But when I made my appointment this year, the operator (who talked to someone at the clinic) said no, they don't do that anymore and they would draw my blood the morning of my appointment. I thought this was odd, so I tried to call the clinic directly, but they would not connect me and made me leave a message instead. It then took an entire day for them to call me back. I was told yes, I could come in for my blood draw ahead of time. So I fasted that night and drove cross-town the next morning to get my blood drawn. But when I get there, they say no, they cannot draw my blood because the doctor's order was to get it done the morning of my physical next week. I explained the whole rigmarole I went through and that wasn't the doctor's note, but a note made when I made my appointment through the call center. They said, sorry, no can do. If it's not in the system, we can't do it. The several hurdles to get a simple question answered, the conflicting information, and the refusal to adjust to resolve the issue makes me question staying with this office. TL:DR: Dr. Chang is great, but the changes in the admin have made it difficult to contact the office directly or get clear information about appointments. read more

Dr. Leung attended very well on my daughter's filling appointment. The only thing I don't like is I had a hard time is the front desk in Eagle Rock for getting a follow up filling appointment for my daughter. I was told that the next available spot was for another patient. I am a diligent employee of CCHC. I dedicate myself to do my duties for the dental health of the patient. But when it comes to my beloved family member, I cannot tend well enough for my daughter's dental needs because the PCC said that the next available appointment is for other patient. read more
