By far the worst clinic to go to for a blood draw. My boyfriend went in for lab work, and two days later the receptionist called and said they had made a mistake with his blood sample/results and that he needed to come back for another blood draw. He returned on the day they instructed him to, arriving shortly after they reopened from lunch at 1 PM, only to be told that they don't perform blood draws after 1 PM on Saturdays. There was no communication about this when they called him to come back. After making a trip because of the clinic's error, he was turned away without being assisted. The lack of communication, organization, and consideration for patients' time is extremely frustrating and disappointing. read more

I typically hate going to the doctor, but over the past few months, I've been dealing with some health issues that have required me to become a frequent visitor at Comprehensive Community Health Center in Eagle Rock. I've unfortunately had experiences with doctors who were too busy to really listen, or who made me feel dismissed when I was trying to get answers. That's why I'm especially grateful to have found Dr. Kropac. He has never dismissed my concerns. He listens, takes me seriously, and advocates for me, which has meant so much during a time when I've already had a lot on my plate. I've heard so many stories about people struggling to feel heard by their doctors, and I've experienced that myself many times, so having a doctor I feel genuinely supports me is a huge relief. I also want to give a special shout out to Laura at the front desk. She is incredibly kind, patient, and compassionate. One thing that really stands out to me is how she seems to remember the names of so many patients and welcomes people with such kindness. It's such a small thing, but it makes people feel recognized and cared for rather than like just another person walking through the door. I've also noticed that even when people are frustrated or difficult, Laura consistently tries to help and treats everyone with kindness and integrity. This place sucks. The staff does not know how to communicate. I have never been so confused on how they operate. I come in for a physical exam and do lab work. They lose my blood lab work, tell me to come back and then reports I can't do it. Even though they told me to come back. Then I comeback for my physical exam forms and they hand me results if my blood work rather than giving what I came for. read more

I have been coming to this office for 9 years now since my 1st daughter was born and it's always been such a great experience. Now I come here with my 1st and second daughter and they always have best care and the staff is always friendly and helpful when I have questions. The experience here is great I can call and make an appointment right away and Dr Lee is always so nice and very helpful with my girls and she always gives me a sense of relief when I feel anxious about my both of my daughters health. It's been 4weeks. Waiting for my paperwork to be signed and given to me.  I truly feel like, at this point, they're doing this on purpose. They constantly make me come back for simple paperwork that should have been handled the first time. (Monday 6/29) was my 6th visit. As I was getting ready to walk out, the woman at the front desk I had posted a picture of her above my recent yelp review she said, "Thank you for the review on Yelp." I found that extremely unprofessional and inappropriate to say to a patient. Instead of addressing my concerns or apologizing for all the inconvenience, I felt singled out. After everything I've experienced from being asked to return multiple times for simple paperwork to this interaction I will never come back here again. Terrible service lack of concern This has been one of the worst experiences I've had with a medical office, and I cannot recommend it. To anyone who needs any blood work or paperwork signed off. and just today 7/8/26 I got a call to finally pick up my paperwork that I ONLY needed sign off. so disappointing and petty of them.i left a complaint on their page haven't heard back from them at all. read more

I just want Dr. Sam to know I found a great dentist who said I didn't have gum bone loss the rest I won't duscuss here I just want him to know I think he was not competent or he didn't want to help me. Why does CCHC keep him he diagnosed me wuth severe gum bone loss and 3 other dentists I've seen said nothing abiut severe gum loss. People think twice before you see him. Also, I just want to share that it took almost a wk for them to refill my meds none of the employees I spoke with had the decency to tell me Dr. Iqbal was on vacation I waa given the run around then Laura from the front office gave me an appt to see Dr Taurus when I came they couldn't find me in the system a nice girl but incompetent giod thing Ava jumped in to help me she took care of everything but I was informed that this clinic us notorious for med refill it takes forever to ok a refill, yet there seemed to be so many employees working. Disappointing. I will discuss this when I see Dr. Taurus for the first time. They need to improve their services. read more

I must start this off by mentioning the reason for my 5 stars is because of a wonderful lady i encountered today that truly saved the day for me and my daughter, her name was khajana and for once i truly felt like i was seen in a pediatricians office. I first walked in and was not greeted by anybody, i was already late I admit, but i stumbled in looking to see someone in the front to help me and was instead faced with two staff who were facing the opposite direction, i was not greeted, i was not told to have a seat, so i sort of stood there and waited; and took it upon myself to have a seat and wait considering eventually, someone would greet me and ask me what they can help me with instead I was not and continue to sit and be patient and thought that it would be best to wait until they approach me. Seeing that I was already late, and the time was just getting later. I decided to speak and say something and was finally brought to the staff's attention. I understand the heavy flow of work and dedication. It takes to be a staff member at a doctors office, especially for children, but a little bit of common decency can help go a long way which I felt like there was a lack of by the staff up front. Considering I'm the one who asked if someone can help me and explain my situation of being late and then being told that since I'm late, I lost the appointment and would have to wait and hope that another patient won't show up to get my child seen was very frustrating I tried explaining to them to help understand my situation if a client keeps showing up, and there was no human decency in the answered questions leaving a frustrated person let alone a mother furious. It wasn't until the sweet lady mentioned in the beginning of this review, stepped in and resolve this situation in less than one minute, truly showing that things can be solved. Much simpler and much better. If there is just some kind of human decency, I understand to them. I am just another patient but to me that is my daughter and I know they see several clients a day but really all it takes is some kindness which really Khajana demonstrated. I hope to see more people like her involved in this clinic. She truly made my day from going horrible. She reassured me and treated me like a human and not a piece of paper! And really sometimes that's all people need. I'm happy to hear she will be taking the action to make the right changes around there. Big shout out to KHAJANA! read more

I had an unpleasant experience as a first-time patient. After completing my pre-check-in form, I waited a few minutes to be called in. When my scheduled appointment time had passed, I approached the receptionist with dyed blonde hair, in her mid-30s, and Hispanic to inquire about the delay. She asked me to wait, so I returned to my seat. A short time later, she called me back to inform me that I would need to reschedule. When I asked for an explanation, she told me it was because I had not completed the online check-in form within 15 minutes. I was dumbfounded, as I had arrived thirty minutes early and completed the form accordingly. I have never heard of a hospital that would not let you see them because you did not fill out the form within 15 minutes. Additionally, her tone during our interactions came across as rude and condescending. Based on this experience, I do not feel welcomed returning to this clinic. I would encourage others to consider alternative clinics, particularly if they are not Hispanic or Latino, as I felt racially discriminated against. read more

Came for bloodwork after a dr requested it the day before. Arrived at 830am on the dot. One lady in from of me was there first and then me. Customer #3 went in before both of us. Customer #4 goes in. Customer #1 finally asks when it's gonna be her turn because she was there at 815am. She eventually gets in. At 945am I hear someone else waiting for blood work when it's gonna be, they say she's next. I already lost count on what number they're on because I also had to use the bathroom since I needed to be hydrated and was waiting for over an hour already. I go to the front desk just to check when I'll be next, since I have to go to work, and and I have to give my information all over again, and he said he'll double check. I Sat down, he came back, and never told me. I had to get up again to ask him how long.... I was next now. I understand there's no appointments, but why would you jump around in a line of people. The bloodwork took 2 minutes. It took me longer to use the bathroom for a surprise Urine test, remember I just used the bathroom 15 minutes prior. Super frustrating especially because the day before the nurse and doctor were so nice. Please work a better system for bloodwork, because waiting for 1 hour 30 minutes for 5 minutes of my time sucks. read more

What a great facility! A hidden gem in Eagle Rock that has friendly, competent staff who work efficiently. I came in today as a new patient and the onboarding process was a breeze thanks to their digital paperwork. I was seen almost immediately and brought in by Cherry for intake. Even with a couple hiccups in the computer system, this was relatively pain free as well, and I did not have to wait long to see Dr. Chang - who, by the way, is AWESOME. Great bedside manner, very professional and approachable, and considerate of my many medical issues I was hoping to have addressed. After going several years without a primary doctor, this visit was such a relief and brought me hope. I want to state that the front desk staff are helpful and kind but please read on and see my experience with the doctor. I can't in good conscience give any review besides a 1 star. I was placed with doctor Muhammad R Iqbal and had a terrible visit. I am new to LA so when I got my new insurance I was given a doctor. I don't know any doctors so I was fine to try the one they gave me, after no phone calls back and no ways to reach that doctor I called to ask for another doctor. They gave me a new doctor [who turned out to be at the same clinic. red flag on the return calls etc?]. I finally got ahold of someone to make an appointment for an intake exam and first visit. When I arrived they had made that appointment with a different doctor [fingers crossed my insurance works for a random doctor. also red flag number 2] The doctor they gave me was Muhammad R Iqbal. The service and help and bedside manner were Abhorrent. I had to demand that he make time for my questions as he was trying to leave very fast. When he finally addressed me as a human all his answers were very short and terse and made me feel like an idiot. The thing is, that I am very educated and have a lot of knowledge about the questions I was asking. I have been working with high cholesterol for 3 years and acid reflux for even longer, so I have tried a LOT of methods to work on these. His answers were SO fast just to tell me to take the first drug he could think of and be done. The thing about just throwing medication at a problem is that then the patient is reliant on those drugs for their life rather than fixing any of the underlying causes. He didn't even wait to find out that I have actually tried those medications. When I tried to say that I understood those medications and have a working knowledge of the anatomy and physiology surrounding the problems and potential solutions he got frustrated with me and made up a problem that clearly wasn't real. He said it was my fault for being overweight and that my weight was pulling on my esophagus and my stomach sphincter. When I asked for more information about how that worked in the body he explained to me what a sphincter was and thought that would be enough to make me believe his diagnosis. Sadly I do know what that is AND that there aren't any ropes from the gut to the sphincter that will keep it open. Sure there are some parallels between weight and acid reflux and cholesterol but those are mostly to do with diet and exercise, not belly strings pulling your stomach open. He went on to suggest other medications which I also know to be short fixes and not problem solvers AND suggested that I sleep propped up, which again is a way to mitigate the symptoms and fix none of the problems.  He was rude.  He did not present as a knowledgeable practitioner of medicine.  I am sorry that others have to have him as their doctor.  I am fortunate enough to have enough working knowledge to advocate for myself. If I didn't know more I would have come out of that meeting on medication for life and no greater information on myself or ways to be better. Medication with a lot of side effects that can't be stopped.  I am sorry for anyone that will have life-altering encounters with this man.  I do not trust him and I no longer trust an establishment that will have him as a staff member. read more

Dr Yosefpour is amazing! She did 2 nail bed removal on one of my toes, what was super ingrown. She explained everything before the procedure and she was very gentle and fast. I did not feel any pain during or after. It healed quickly and very well! I'm so happy and I can wear my shoes again comfortably and pain free. Thank you! Highly highly recommended! read more

At CCHC nurse Ani at Dr. Airapetian office was absolutely amazing at her job, especially when it comes to drawing blood! Whenever I've had trouble with other nurses not being able to get my blood drawn, they always call on Ani, and she never fails to come to the rescue. I feel completely at ease and comfortable with Ani. Her patience and knowledge are truly impressive, and she always goes above and beyond to make sure everything goes smoothly. Ani is the kind of nurse you want by your side, making things happen with a smile. If you ever need to get your blood drawn, Ani is definitely the one you want taking care of you. If I could give this place less than one star I would. I made an appointment for 2:15pm and I was later called by a staff member who tried changing my appointment for me. I need to see a Dr and they want to rearrange my schedule when I am the one in pain and need to see a Dr. then they followed up with saying that they can't accommodate my scheduled appointment but I can do a walk in......? Really ? How does this even make sense? I've been sitting here for two hours now and I asked for assistance and with an attitude I was told that I need to be patient. Wow! CCHS has been a reliable place to go to for years. My mom has taken me there and I now take my own child. The whole staff is always so welcoming and hardworking. Dr. Chang, who has been my doctor, has always been direct and clear with me about my care. She lets me know what is best for me when I worry and has always been so attentive with whatever issues I've come in to get addressed. Starting with my last visit with Dr. Baycher in Glendale she was the third eye doctor I seen and she was the one to diagnose the situation and treat it. She took all her time in examine my eyes and found the diagnosis. She's like an old friend. Very kind. Today it was nice to see Ani, Dr. Airapetians ex nurse very kind and sweet. I met Deja today, she's very compassionate, friendly, courteous and Dr. Maggie felt like we've known each other for ever. Dr. Maggie is very knowledgeable cut nails with no pain. I am always very nervous to go to the dentist. This was my first visit to this clinic today...I have to say that from start to finish they did everything possible to make me feel comfortable! When first calling for an appointment I spoke with Hector. He was very helpful and assured me that Dr. Mercardo and her assistants were wonderful. He was right!! Abigail at the front desk was sensitive and caring, Anna the assistant was friendly and so efficient and accommodating as I have a back issue. And Dr Mercardo was fantastic! My first time and I was not disappointed. Such a clean facility, from the walls to the floors and even the equipment. The staff encounters were good, the ladies were kind and welcoming.
