This all soon changed in the Summer of 2018. In the first few days I met loads of amazing people who it's a pleasure to call lifelong friends. The accommodation was great, every suite has a TV where you can relax on a night before bed and watch a movie. The food was amazing. When you think of "Weight Loss Diet" you think of a salad every meal. But no! You can chose from healthy burgers, to fresh pizza and even crunchy chicken tenders! Everything tasted amazing. The activities were so fun. It wasn't just a workout every hour of the day. You played games such as capture the flag, tag and even chill out at the pool and have a fun swim! To break camp life up, we go on trips and hikes to some amazing places. From surfing lessons on the beautiful beaches of Santa Barbara, to Hiking up the mountains, to having a fun trip to Disney Land! Not one day of camp is boring, everything is new and changes. In my estimation Dr. Laurie is a True Healer in that she does not simply try to relieve or mask symptoms, but rather aims to lead you to your healthiest, highest vibrational self. Laurie's intuition and integrity are second to none. Her compass is aimed True North and it does not waiver. She uses natural, holistic modalities and only resorts to herbs and/or supplements when she is very clear that is what will serve you best. I never once felt like she was trying to sell me something or encouraging me to take excessive amounts of things. In fact, it was quite the opposite. She consistently encouraged me to simplify my supplement regimen and focus more on my diet, exercise and lifestyle choices. This was a very difficult approach for me to embrace, being that I've always been in search of more supplements and magic pills that would "fix" me.
