Apparently, management chooses not to manage that issue. You need some fresh teachers and new classes in the exercise room. Same old boring stuff. Get some actual Mixxed Fit, U-Jam, or other classes with fresh choreography and music. It's like a senior center in there, which would be fine as far as the seniors, but even seniors like to do NEW choreography. At least pre-pandemic when Bob was teaching Zumba, he kept up with new routines. That's why his Monday night class was packed. There was actual choreography.

In the end of the day, everyone is connected and to one another and I'll say this, Euro Tennis is way better with better customer service than here. I grew up learning to play tennis by my dad. All was self taught through him. We weren't a rich family, but we were raised with values that took us far in life. I don't know what values these tennis coaches have here, but I'll say this.. poor customer service doesn't get very far. My ultimate goal was just to get my 4 yo and soon to be 5 yo to just make friends and get to know the sport that I love very much. I suggest all parents to go to Euro Tennis. Better customer service and lots of options. At Euro Tennis, they accept kids of all kinds. They have patience. And their focus is just making sure the kids have fun. I am extremely disappointed with how this gymnastics facility handled my daughter's injury…read more My 6-year-old daughter injured her neck during a forward roll in the morning. Despite the injury involving her neck, no one contacted us to inform us that an incident had occurred. We only learned about it at pickup around 3:30 PM, when we noticed her neck was significantly swollen and she was in pain. We then took her to the ER, where doctors spent over 7 hours evaluating her to rule out a spinal injury. We did not get home until 3:00 AM. Thankfully, it was not a more serious injury, but the situation could have been much worse. The following day, I met with the facility to understand why we were never notified. The explanations I received were concerning. The front desk staff could not provide a clear account of what happened because different instructors worked the morning and afternoon shifts. It appeared there was little communication or proper handoff between staff members. I was surprised by how disorganized the operation seemed. I was told that staff did not re-evaluate my daughter's condition in the afternoon because she said she was "fine." She is only 6 years old. Children are not always able to accurately assess or communicate the severity of an injury, especially a neck injury. It is the responsibility of trained staff to monitor the situation and notify parents when an injury occurs. When the owner, Danielle, later joined the conversation, she stated that her staff "did exactly what they were supposed to do" and that this had been their protocol for 15 years. She also said they would pay closer attention to my daughter next time. Unfortunately, that completely misses the point. This is not just about my daughter--it is about the safety of every child in their care. Any neck injury should be treated seriously, and parents should be informed immediately. What disappointed me most was not only the lack of communication, but also the lack of accountability. Rather than acknowledging that improvements could be made, management defended a process that failed to notify parents of a potentially serious injury. As a parent, I can no longer trust this facility with my child's safety. I would strongly encourage other parents to carefully consider whether this is the level of communication and care they expect when leaving their children in someone else's supervision.

Things were hectic at first but my son got a on a good team with great players and an even greater coach, thanks Coach Sandy! All the kids on our team had a great season and are all looking forward to next season so we can continue the fun! That's what I loved about UCYSL Rec league, it's all about fun, at such a young age that is all that should matter. HYSL is very competitive and it shows because the kids from those team would be winning games and still get angry during games because their coaches push them too hard. Don't listen to any of the negative reviews, I've noticed a pattern of the people who complain the most to coaches are also the ones who never told their kids no... If you want your kid to learn how to play soccer in a safe and friendly environment then I recommend UCYSL!

Things began to change when I became a Business Manager. The first year was great! I really enjoyed myself, so I decided to volunteer to have a position on the board. That's where I really saw how things worked. As a board member, I was interested in progressing the league to keep up with the 'electronic' era as well as provide innovative input to cutting costs and creating more efficiency. All except upgrading the website were shot down. Upgrading the website was not much of a progressive step... in relation to the rest of the suggestions. Not only was I shot down, I was not even allowed to make a motion for vote. After doing some research and understanding how the other leagues in the area function, again I was in a position to suggest how to compete with these leagues... Again, shot down by the same person. Frustrating as this was, I still suggested my friends to join the league as parents, volunteers, etc. Still a Business Manager, I had an issue with parents 'taking control' of the team - refusing to participate in a mandatory fundraiser. I found NO support with the BOD and the Head Coach. Personally, I have serious questions about the budget that is consistantly approved. There are MANY ways in which money can be saved (volunteer time, in-kind donations, etc). Egos and pride are getting in the way of progress. Without progress and innovative ideas to lead kids to this league, I don't see that it will last. The other leagues are VERY competitive, VERY athletic, train well and have a smaller budget allowing them to focus on KIDS not money. Kids/Parents/Coaches are not leaving FFL because of the flashiness of other leagues and coming back... they are leaving FFL because of FFL's RIGID ISSUES, lack of progress and bullsh*t... and they are NOT returning.
