Wow! First of all, I didn't need a referral because I have HMSA PPO!…read more Well, what I don't like is the first initial call. I have called 3 times and 2 out of 3 I left a message and I didn't get a call back that same day. The answering thingy that they have gave me 3 different messages when I called. Sometimes, ok it would have better if I had just spoken to a human to begin with. Especially if I'm on break and I can't keep waiting for what options and leave a message or you can email or. . . OMG! Just give me a human! When I finally got one, she was AWESOME! Very helpful, very informative and ready to help in every way possible and may I add in patient? Don't get me wrong because I was not a beeedd-yotch. I just wanted an appointment right away and with her patience and knowledge and being very informed, I had no time to be one. Please don't get me wrong but I'm not always one lol like for real Anyways, I get in, filled a whole team of papers about myself ok ok it was only about 6 papers lol but it seemed like a lot lol and after handing those in, I waited say a good 10-15 minutes and they called me in. Tiana started questioning me, repeated to be sure she was understanding what I was saying and put it all in the tablet/iPad for the Dr to review. When Dr Franco(?), ok I was listening but not to her name. So, when the Dr came in and reviewed everything that was of concern and she looked me over and gave me options of what it may be. Then she gave me instructions, then asked if I had any questions and wanted to see me in about 4 weeks. She was awesome, fast and very attentative to my needy needs. She asked what pharmacy and Tiana sent then there and I made an appointment in front and was on my merry way home. I'm glad that there are Drs out there still wanting to give their all to the orients and the best part - listen. Thank you Dr and Tiana for everything that you've done for me today. It helped me a lot and see you in the next 4 weeks.

My PCP referred me here, and I truly appreciated that they were able to get me in right away. They even kept in mind that I needed to be at work by 12, and moved me efficiently through the entire process so I wouldn't be late. From the moment I walked in, everyone was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. The receptionist (I wish I remembered her name!) greeted me with a smile and got me checked in quickly with an iPad for my paperwork. Soon after, the medical assistant--possibly Chayan--brought me to the exam room, verified my information, and made sure nothing was missed. I waited only a short time before PA Jessica came in to examine my skin, explain what was going on, and discuss treatment options. She stepped out briefly, then returned with Dr. Wong, who was kind, thorough, and able to prescribe the medications I needed. Overall, this is an excellent dermatology practice with a caring, efficient team. I felt heard, taken care of, and never rushed. I'll definitely be recommending this office to family and friends for any skin concerns!

I am so incredibly happy with the results and can't tell you how much better this surgery was vs my last one from another location--she is SO good at what she does, used to be a derm instructor before taking over this business (from what the doctor who rec'd her and referred me said), and I definitely benefitted from her expertise in my visits! I also thought Thomas was exceptional as well. 10/10 would recommend and I will be back!

F I V E H U N D R E D S T A R S for Dr. Healy & his…read morestaff! This review is long overdue, so I needed to make sure I got to it because this surgeon really deserves the recognition. To start off, this office is busy.. so don't be surprised that there will be a wait to schedule. From my perspective, I see the hold time as more of a stamp of approval for a surgeon who is well sought after. And he surely is! Dr. Healy was on my radar for 13+ years before my surgery. After 2 children and the aftermath of breastfeeding, I have always wanted to correct the remaining "two problems"... haha! Of course, having cosmetic surgery is a huge decision, due to the risk and high price tag, so being extremely picky about your surgeon is the most reasonable thing to do. Now that I've reached my one year anniversary, I can say with full confidence - I AM SO BLESSED TO HAVE FOUND THIS OFFICE! My gosh... I have read reviews for other surgeons and I am so grateful for Dr. Healy and his staff for holding up their end of the bargain. Every appointment was made according to doctor's recommendations and all appointments were calmly completed by Dr. Healy himself. And I didn't even mention anything about the surgery itself!!.. Of how respectful the team was, how supportive they were THRU IT ALL, how clear and concise the process was so I had every single question answered... it was really - a great experience for me, all together! Doctor also respected the modest size I was going for and after providing pictures, he really matched me incredibly close to the exact pic I had as my #1. And they look SO NATURAL!! Dr. Healy, his lovely wife and coordinator, Jackie, the wonderful staff working the front, and the nurses in the back.. over a year later and I am still treated kindly and I couldn't be more thankful. Thank you all for helping 'mama' feel better about her body and thank you for supporting me in a huge life decision! :D

Dr. was in contact with us daily with updates, and to help us through the process. He's very patient, caring and understanding. But hey, who does? If he does need 2 shots, it's soo fast! It seems like the nurse only gives him 1 shot, and I should know because I do not like when gets shots! The nurses are always friendly, and welcome us when we arrive. Recently, I dislocated my son's elbow (nurses elbow, waah!) and Dr. met me on a early Sunday morning. My son still has a slight yellow tinge to his skin, but he is stable and getting stronger thanks to the great care provided by the wonderful Pali Momi staff of doctors and nurses! Mahalo!

It's very difficult to rate Pali Momi because I feel that overall, their ER services and lab are…read morethe BEST on all of Oahu and the best hospital out of most of the hospitals I've been to in the mainland while my spouse was in the military. I would love them just because of their ER. If I were to move to Kahala, Kailua or Waianae, I would still drive to their ER in the dead of night over any other ER (if I could). I have never in my life described an ER visit as a service, but when I go to Pali Momi, it feels like a service. Like GREAT service for the money you're paying. I'm being catered to even when I have to wait a little for the Dr, the ER STAFF just feels like an ELEVATED level of care and not unprofessional or ratchet like other ER staff from other hospitals I've been to. The wait time here is always the shortest of any other ER we have gone to for other people. You won't catch the staff talking loudly or badly about a patient (had that happen at Castle ER). This ER will have have short, low murmured, light interactions and even when they're updating the next crew on patients before leaving - they are actually very discreet. With their ER, the staff station is just a comfortable or soothing buzz in the background and not like other ERs where people are talking loudly, yelling or laughing over each other while someone's in excruciating pain just a few feet away. I love how their ER has grown and how Pali Momi has UTILIZED their space on the first floor to make more rooms for the ER so that patients are not waiting long outside. That alone also adds to you feeling like they make efforts and give a damn about the service they provide. Whether you end up in one of the makeshift rooms at the back, I feel like they know how patients feel - once I'm inside - mentally I already feel a little better because I'm one step closer to being seen. The next step is waiting outside to be called and then when you're called they take you in to your room or space. You wait for the Dr., see the Dr, they do what needs to be done, then you either wait to be transferred to a room upstairs or wait for your papers and the nurse or doctor to speak about what you need to do once home or when you get your meds. This ER will CALL YOU shortly after your visit to FOLLOW UP on how you're doing. This is great! Anyway, let's talk about the service of their upstairs staff if you have to stay in the hospital. 1- This hospital is a lot cleaner compared to other hospitals, Queens in town and Straub on King st, but it could still be better. My mom had to stop a maid because she used the SAME flannel that she wiped the room with to wipe the bathroom and SINK!! The sink that nurses put the bottles on for the patient's water flushes for their feeding line or that patients themselves use. And if someone is in the room, they won't come all the way in to mop. I know they probably are just trying not to intrude but pls come in anyway to make sure the room is clean. If someone says they don't want it, fine but some people will appreciate it being cleaned thoroughly even if they're there. 2. The staffs upstairs are mostly great. You do have some very good nurses here, but I've encountered the same male nurse who walked in twice and almost use the SAME gloves he's had from visiting other patients. This is unacceptable as that's how OUTBREAKS happen. Your hospital has an awesome reputation, but that small carelessness from one person can ruin that. 3. Please please for the love of god, change or get a refund from the contractor that provides the sheets. I've been there a few times recently again and each time, the bed sheets do NOT FIT the beds! Please get bigger sheets that won't shrink in the dryer. I feel so bad for the CNAs and nurses when I help change my loved one's bed sheets and it doesn't even fit. To the point where the patient becomes uncomfortable due to the sheet bending the mattress inwards. I hope if we have another stay, that all the too small sheets have been replaced. 4. Keep up the great work. Your lab is very good at drawing blood and putting in IV lines for hard cases. We appreciate that so much. 5. Your insurance ladies are so polite when coming to ask for that and getting it done so we don't have to worry about it. I like that they will come to the patient to complete their paperwork or return their things so the patient doesn't have to come to them if they're unable to. 6. Shout out to your cafeteria. The staff in there is so efficient and kind. The place is clean and comfortable with plenty of seating.

So happy I decided to make the move from Straub Kapolei to Straub Mililani. Why?…read more Closer to my home New facility Lots of close parking Friendly staff beginning from first time check in to Melody to Dr.Liu. I made the appointment 6 months ago while the new building was coming up. My former doctor was nice, listened well, easy on the eyes and I was pleased. Dr. Liu is on a whole different top tier: He is young but very knowledgeable. He went over my past medical history, bloodwork and urine results from last year, my current meds with recommendations. He acknowledged my present concerns with treatments, future considerations and got to know me as a person not just a patient by his questions. He actually used a stethoscope and felt my stomach plus the knots in my shoulders from my persistent neck issues. My former doctor never did this in all my years going to him. Am I overjoyed I have a new, awesome doctor who has my health in good hands? You betcha! Even the lady who scheduled my next appointment was so friendly and told me how to get my lab work done when I return in 6 months. Color me happy! Plus as I was leaving I heard a friendly voice say my name. It was Yelp Elite Scot U. volunteering. Best first visit ever!!!

I went…read moreand got my annual mammogram, and after my visit, I got a long-stemmed rose and pink arm sleeves w/ thumb holes, great for those power walks in the sun and gardening (I sound like an old lady...no wait, I AM! hahaha) What I like: - free parking. None of that paid stuff. - shopping is convenient, get a shot, then go to Wal-mart and get some booze. - it is SO new the bathroom still hasn't been trashed yet - lots of people at the front desk that acknowledge you immediately - you can check in online on your phone too. I checked in with a real person and had to wait, but as soon as I hit "check in" on MyChart, they came to get me immediately. - cool hip architecture with large large windows, although I am pretty sure the birds will hate colliding with them and dying of broken necks. - nice changing area with lockers, a comfy robe to wear while you wait for your breasts to be smashed between plastic, metal and glass. yay. What I didn't care for: - giant windows frying me with the sun, despite the tinted windows. The seats were all in the path of the dreaded sunlight. The receptionist was nice enough to ask a group of us if she needed to lower the blinds and I was going to say "yes" but one man quipped up and said, "no it's fine, WE LIKE THE SUNLIGHT". Speak for yourself mister. I retreated to some seats further away from the sun and heat. - parking lot was super full, but I don't mind walking, so I parked a bit aways and walked. At least it's (still) free, not like Queen's Punchbowl. Neutral: - it was so nice it made me suspicious, like how did they get so much money to make such a fancy place? Was it by overcharging patients? Medicare reimbursements? Maybe it was the benefactor, Benioff, which I see a lot more nowdays attached to the "Straub" name. In the old days, it was just "Straub". I looked it up and was blown away at what I thought a Benioff would look like, a stuffy, regal doctor in a white coat with a stethoscope. Instead I see a humble, tall and slightly scruffy man in wrinkly oversized Aloha shirt, loose fitting jeans and white tennis shoes. His wife managed to look more polished, but hey, he is the quintessential billionaire next door. You'd never know. Look him up, fascinating stuff.
