I'm not even sure where to start. In Feb 2010 David (owner) told myself and the other brides maids to wait to get the dresses we wanted from a designer. He also said that we would be much happier and that Bridal Salons push you to make the sale w/ worries of not getting dresses on time. Even after I explained the wedding was Aug 21, 2010. He said that there would be no issue w/ timing. We found the dresses we wanted. I went to order mine 3/6/2010 and was told I was the last order the dresses would be placed the following Monday and we should see them come in around 6/1/2010 (way sooner than the posted 2-3 months plus 52 days.) Great everyone was happy. June comes around we call to check on the dresses and the date had been moved to July 1 because the dresses weren't really ordered until April 2nd (per David, because they had to place a large order w/ the company.) July 1st comes around and we're told shipping is delayed due to the oil spill in the gulf....we should expect the dresses in july 9-july 23 plus 20 business days! That possibly puts us after the date of the wedding! David explained our options are to have the dresses made from scratch which will cost us more or we can cancel for a refund. Complete Bridal doesn't look so cool now. To add insult to injury we did call around to other bridal placed to see if they were having issues with delivery from our dress manufacture and no one else was having issues. David instructed the bride to have the brides maids schedules appointments for refunds. Which I did. Sat. July 10th at 11am I walked in and David was w/ a bride. He passed me off to Phil. Who bought into the business 2 weeks prior (or that's what Phil told me.) Phil refused to refund me anything because David had made notes that contridicted what I was told by David, even after David explained to Phil (i'll be it very heatedly; that I was the most collected in the whole debacle and deserved a refund) Phil also said that because he would be stuck paying for the dresses and it could be a total of 600 or 700 dollars he did not see why we should be getting a refund. Here I had to point out that 3 brides maid dresses at $175.00 a piece hardly makes a wholesale cost of 600-700 dollars. At the time I was running a 102.0 fever due to a Kidney Infection and since David and Phil kept going back to a sign that says dresses could take 6 months to come in. This sign also says any canceled orders will be subject to a $105.00 restocking fee. It was here I explained to Phil that if he was not going to refund me as instructed by David he at least had to refund me the difference between what I paid for the dress ($175 and change) and the restocking fee. Here is where Phil set $70.00 in cash on the desk. And got really annoyed when I asked him for the proper amount due back to me. He told me that he did not have change for the lesser amount and got really pissed when I asked for a business check. I was not looking for anything more than what I am due per their store policies; which I don't really agree with, but at this point there was enough lying and deception going on I just wanted to leave the business and never ever return. I've been in High End Optical Retail for 10 years. I sell frames that retail for over $1000.00...it's a lot of money. I understand custom orders and cost of retail and time etc etc. And I don't feel I was being unreasonable. At no point did I raise my voice, curse or act out. I was polite when asked what I was in the salon for because I didn't want the bride who was there to think poorly of the business she was in. By the time I left I really didn't care if she knew or not. Honestly disappointing isn't really the best way to describe the service and treatment with this business. And just a heads up they aren't closed they just moved down the street. I really feel that they just have poor business ethics. Also they are not part of the BBB. read more

DO NOT GET YOUR DRESS FROM HERE. They will tell you that your dress will be in in a certain amount of time and they will be absolutely wrong. And when you call them trying to figure out where your dress is, they will send you in circles trying to figure it out. One day they will say it's on the truck and will be delivered today, and then they'll say that tracking says it will be here in a week, and then after those calls they told us it was still not in the country! Their customer services is the absolute worst. We went with them because they did a fashion show at a bridal show we went to, and they seemed really great and nice to work with. And they were, until after you ordered your dress with them. Then they turned to shit. We had the same problems with the bridesmaid dress as well, not coming when they were supposed to. And then my dress finally came in and I considered not getting it altered there because quite honestly I just wanted to get my dress out of their building. But I'd never gotten anything altered before so I didn't know a good place to go, and I figured the lady (Rosa) is used to working with their designers so I decided to just let her do it. When I came for my second fitting, my dress hadn't been touched! And I live an hour away! This place is absolutely horrible and I would not recommend it to my worst enemy. Go ahead and watch their reality show Best In Bridal, in the FIRST EPISODE, they show a bride bawling her eyes out because they accidentally gave her dress to the WRONG PERSON! Wedding planning is stressful enough, and you shouldn't have to have your dress be the most stressful part, so stay far far away from this bridal shop. read more

I actually just left a voicemail at this shop regarding my bridesmaid dress. While paging through reviews here I felt compelled to give Complete Bridal five stars even though I have yet to receive my dress. I went in with my two sisters and we were treated so nicely by David and the other gentleman (I didn't get his name). I felt insecure about trying on bridesmaid dresses as I've gained some weight, but I never was made to feel any less than beautiful. Even though my sister didn't find her wedding dress there, David was extremely helpful with determining what she didn't want; and when it was clear she didn't like anything there, he referred her to another shop, even calling them about her. He was professional and sweet. Plus he hugged me which is amazing. This shop deserves a better average than what is showing on Yelp. read more

David is simply the best! I went into Complete Bridal with my sister who is getting married in May and another bridesmaid in search of bridesmaid dresses for the two of us. After visiting Kathryn's Bridal where our business was less than welcome because we weren't a size zero, David was a breath of fresh air! The first set of bridesmaid dresses David suggested we try on ended up being the one! His industry knowledge steered us in the right direction, selecting the cut, material, and style that complimented our figures. My sister wasn't intending on trying on bridal gowns, but with the success of the bridesmaid appointment and David's welcomed confidence that he could find the "one," she decided to do so. The first one he pulled, we all really liked...the second one he pulled was the "one!" Everything about the dress was perfect-cut, color, detail, but most importantly my sister was glowing in it-thanks David for putting that smile on her face! David was transparent about the time frame and delivery process for all the dresses. The price and selection for both bridesmaid and bridal dresses were comparable, if not slightly less than other boutiques. However, the quality for the price appears to be elevated in comparison- particularly with the details in the beading and lace. We were at the store for well over two hours and never felt rushed or pressured to buy which was refreshing. The three of us can't wait until our dresses arrive and see David again! He better be wearing his tight jeans again ;) ~Katie, Susie, & Brandi read more

This place has been amazing. After being a bridesmaid lots of times and going to all sorts of bridal boutiques I was dreading shopping for my own wedding dress. I knew what I wanted and didn't want to fuss. I went to a Dave's just to say I tried a bridal salon with full intentions of ordering something from jcrew or BHLDN when I survived the outing. Dave changed everything. First, he doesn't put you in dresses that aren't flattering. So literally every single dress I tried on I would have been thrilled to get married in. Then it was just about which one did I like the most. More lacy and romantic or more bold and dramatic? They had it all. I wasn't rushed, I wasn't pushed in any direction, Dave just talked out ideas, listened and helped. He was amazing. He looked up my venue online to see what it kind of space it was and talked out reasons why he thought one dress was better for suited for the space and style of the wedding than another. He fielded questions from all my friends and family. My dress came in July for my January wedding. I swear when Dave told me it was in, he was more excited than I was! Wedding planning can be a little daunting at times and it's nice to have someone remind you that it's an awesome thing and a great experience! I have now had two fittings and I cannot believe how amazing the entire staff had been. We are even using Rosa, the amazing seamstress to do some custom work and of course bridesmaid's dresses. Dave and his team are the absolute best and if they can make me happy, they can help anyone! read more

WORST BRIDAL STORE EVER!!! Although the Complete Bridal Salon may seem like a wonderful place to check off your wedding to do list, it is in actuality a ridiculously unprofessional and shady store. My first experience with the Bridal Salon was pleasant, however, it soon became a bride's worst nightmare. Not only did they almost lose my dress and ruin the alterations, but they also were going to double charge me for my dress because they lost the receipt. Brides, run away from this altar of deception! read more

This place is NASTY! Sweat Stains all over the dresses. Extremely HOT in the building, they claim the air conditioning is broken. You have to dress yourself, which isn't horrible but if your having issues who is to help??? Also an all male store is kind of disturbing, I know my fiancé wouldn't be too please to have another man touch me or help me get dressed. The owner also doesn't believe in Ball Gowns and only believes in showing off your body so he won't give you the option you want. Total waste of time so don't even bother making an appointment. read more

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING HERE. The initial customer service is great. Very attentive and personable while you're trying on dresses. After they get you to fall in love and purchase a gown, WHICH IS VERY EXPENSIVE, they pay no attention to you at all. No phone calls, call backs, notifications anything. It's a project just to get information about your purchase from them. Also, I had alterations done on my dress which I had bought three months prior and it wasn't ready until TWO DAYS BEFORE MY PROM and guess what, IT WAS SO BIG IT WAS LITERALLY FALLING DOWN MY BODY (and no I did not lose a single pound from when I had bought it). I had to get it altered and pick it up the morning of prom hoping it would fit. No apology, nothing. Still had to pay for the alterations. Ridiculous. After spending $500 on a prom dress which I had worked months to be able to pay for, I expect great service or at least understanding and an apology for something that was their fault. read more

If you purchase your gown from this store Dave will make sure your dress is PERFECT on your wedding day. He showed up to the hotel with his steamer and steamed all the bridesmaids dresses along with mine and my moms and aunt's dress. He then helped me into my dress and made sure I looked absolutely perfect in it before we left for the church. He then showed up at the church and made sure we looked our absolute best before walking down the aisle. If it wasn't for him I don't know how we would have looked walking down the aisle (probably a hot mess). My maid of honor stepped in a puddle and literally the entire bottom of her dress was soaked. Dave took her dress without me asking for help and rushed it to the store to dry. He ran back before the ceremony began and helped her into her dress. He made sure my dress was fluffed before I walked down the aisle and reminded my girls to fix my dress while I stood at the alter. (So glad he did because I completely forgot to remind them). He also showed up at the reception to make sure my dress was bustled correctly and to just check in on me. Dave is honestly one of the most amazing people I have ever met in my life. He goes above and beyond for his brides and asks for nothing in return. I don't know what I would have done on my wedding day if Dave wasn't there. Thank you!!!!! read more

David, thank you for making me, a 50+ year old woman, feel beautiful! Thank you for finding me the perfect dress! I received a lot of compliments the night of the event as well. This is coming from a person who is very hard on herself - HUGE accomplishment sir! You truly picked out the perfect dress for me. I would also like to say, it was the first and ONLY dress I had to try on!! If you are looking for someone who can put you in that perfect dress, go to Complete Bridal! I literally walked in, explained my situation and David grabbed this dress and said this is you! ...and he was correct. Not something I would've picked out - he's that good! I did not give them a lot of time but they came through, altered and everything! I truly enjoyed everyone that I came into contact with....GREAT experience. read more

Being a bride, one of the most important components to your wedding is your WEDDING DRESS!!! Finding 'THE dress' is not always the easiest task and sometimes finding the salon where that dream dress is waiting for you is not the easiest either. To me, Complete Bridal is the location that made all of my dreams come true and has done the same for so many others! The salon itself is so fun, warm and inviting that when you walk in, you see beautiful dresses surrounded by more beautiful dresses! The owner, David, listened to my every request but also encouraged me to go out of the box a little and try on other dresses that I did not originally imagine could be 'THE dress.' He knew his designs, his silhouettes, his fabric, etc... and was just so helpful throughout the whole process. MY dress ended up being the last dress that I tried on, as I was originally apprehensive to try it on because it was so unique and really required you to use your imagination, as the dress was in a different and bold color. I tried it on and the tears that came from my own eyes and everyone else's is a memory that I will never forget. David looked at me and told me the same thing that my heart had been telling me, 'This is YOUR dress!' Since the dress was so unique and in such a bold color, I discussed with David my vision of making it more custom and making it MY dress. Instead of going with the color that I tried on or the basic white/ivory options they offered for the dress, I suggested doing a blush underskirt to make my ivory lace on top pop. David did not even question my idea, as he thought it would work too. The second that my dress came in, I received a call from David telling me how blown away he was with the final creation of it with the blush. It came out better than either one of us could ever imagine. One of the other things that I absolutely loved about my service at this salon is that I am a bride that does not live in Illinois, as I live in Florida, and David never allowed the distance to hinder the whole process. I was born and raised in Carol Stream and my parents still live there, so when I came up to visit them this past summer, I wanted to go dress shopping. We chose Complete Bridal as our location and once I fell in love with the gown, David helped make the process so easy and gave me updates all along the way. He gave me dates to when the dress would ship, expected dates about the arrival and once it did arrive, he took pictures and sent to me, as well as scheduled and allowed my father to come in and take pictures for me, so even though I was far away, I could still get to see my beautiful gown. This salon, its owner and all of the staff have made the whole wedding dress shopping event one of the most positive and memorable experiences that I have ever had. Thank you to everyone at Complete Bridal for making my dream dress come true. read more

Bought my dress yesterday from Complete Bridal. These guys were a breath of fresh air. I had a negative experience at a different shop down the street and from the second I walked in here I knew my experience would be different. The dresses were beautiful and the staffs enthusiasm was incredible. I didn't feel like I was just another sale, they made me feel like I was their only bride. After being here, my wedding actually feels real. I can't stop looking at my dress in pictures and can't wait to see what my actual custom made dress looks like when it is finished. Hoping the remainder of my experience with Complete Bridal is as great as the beginning has been. read more

I originally purchased my wedding gown in March. By August I had not heard any updates. I grew concerned and contacted the salon. I was told that my dress was DISCONTINUED, so it would take longer to come in. I was not offered the opportunity to cancel my order. I STILL DID NOT HAVE MY DRESS BY THE NEXT MARCH A YEAR LATER!! I was still getting the run around from them and told ridiculous excuses such as: there is a strike and customs is not allowing ships to dock... It also took them an un-Godly amount of time to receive my bridesmaid dresses and guess what they were wrong!!!! Since I was getting married in May I was forced to accept the wrong bridesmaid dresses and cancel my wedding gown order that I never received!! I had to take him to court to get a refund!! NEVER EVER EVER GO HERE!!!! read more

This is my second time writing a review, b/c as one of the posters mentioned below, if you have a negative experience and write about it (which the purpose of yelp is to review businesses) the store WILL contact you. I was a bride's maid so the owner Dave did not have my number, but he did have the bride's and called her immediately after I posted. Out of respect for my friend, and b/c I did not want to cause her any additional stress, I removed the post with every intention of reposting after her wedding. I will say when I went to get my measurements my experience wasn't horrible, although Dave was on Facebook the whole time. When he measured me I was in between an 8/10, I had on the size 10 dress which he acknowledged was too big, but said since it was the sample it was stretched out from so many people trying it on the brand new size 10 would fit better. Since he's the expert I went with his advice, and when the actual dress came in (2 months after we were told they would) the 10 was too big, the 8 fit perfect (a friend of mine standing up got a size 8). I now needed extensive alterations I wouldn't have if I ordered the 8. I politely asked if there was anything he would do to work w/ me, since I took his advice and got the size 10. To which he responded by grabbing his measurement book and reading my measurements in front of the entire bridal party, and telling me based on my measurements I should have ordered a 12/14. I was beyond mortified and humiliated, and was in tears the whole way home. I ended up calling my mom b/c I was so upset, so she in turn tried to call to speak with him, and he hung up on her!! This was not my first time there either, I went there w/ my sister for her wedding and Dave showed up 2 hours late for the scheduled appointment. She obviously chose to go elsewhere after that. So unfortunately due to two bad experiences, I can't recommend this store. read more

I took both of my maid of honors here for bridesmaid dress shopping. One is very tall and thin and one is short and round. The staff here was unbelievable and treated each of them like gold. The staff was up to challenge to find a dress that would look great on both girls and they did an amazing job of making them comfortable and finding a very affordable dress. The customer service at this place is amazing. They have a lot of shoes, bridal accessories, invitations, limos etc... if you'd like to do all of your wedding planning in one location, this place can handle it. read more

I had an awesome experience with Complete Bridal. My [now] mother-in-law had a coworker's daughter who bought her dress here so we tried it out. When we arrived, I told David I was "that" bride that had been in 50 lace dresses and haven't found what I want. He said I could pick out any of the dresses to try on and he'd pick out 2 dresses for me that he felt worked with my body type but weren't on my wish list. I tried on all my choices - blah. Finally, I put on the dress he picked out for me - a champagne color satin dress. Walked out to the mirror and everyone's faces screamed "this is it!" I looked at the dress and thought to myself "wow, he nailed it - this is it!". He then spent time offering advice on general wedding dress industry tips, how we can change the look of the dress even more with alterations, and took the time to show me pictures online on how the dress photographs. The price of the dress was well under my budget and less than other salons (I called a few other salons to compare prices) and I appreciated him not trying to push me over my limit. He was so kind to my family (mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and my grandma) and made sure they were attended to in addition to myself. Everyone got hugs from him when we were leaving. It was a nice intimate experience where we didn't feel rushed like cattle like at other salons. The dress arrived in the time frame given - he called me and my mother-in-law right away to let us know it was in. Alterations went pretty smoothly with Rosa (and great price on alterations as well). We had one mix-up where she double booked alterations appointments and we had to wait 45 minutes to see her when we arrived. A different salon employee didn't offer any apology for the wait and instead told us "this is just what happens in the bridal industry" which I thought was a little out of line (David was not in that day). The other times I was in for alterations there were no issues - David came in to check out the dress and make sure Rosa understood all the changes and it looked perfect. Rosa was very sweet to work with. I LOVED how the dress turned out. Thanks again! read more

After finding the perfect dress at house of brides, I ordered it never checking this place out. When I ordered my dress I was told the alterations would be no more then $95 for a bustle and the dress fit off the rack. I picked my dress up and it was ordered in the wrong color (ivory) and they want $300 for a simple bustle. I left and went to complete bridal on a whim. I was so disappointed that I didn't buy my dress from those guys. That store is the best. THE BEST service and job you can have in the area. I would recommend everyone to go right there and not to make the mistake I made. It really is a one stop shop, you name it they have it there. Same with getting hair and make up on your day. read more

My daughter and her bridal party went in in december and ordered there dresses they were told it would be 6 mons, after 6 mons we called almost every other day to find out the status on them and was giving the run around. It took 8 mons for the dresses to come in and we got every excuse in the book, or should I say the bridal party called and got all the excuses. I am the mother of the bride and when I called I was told the owner would get back to me later that day this was on a thursday, I gave them my cell phone number cause I have it on me all the time. Three weeks went by and I never got a call back. When the bride called the owner was very rude to her on the phone and hung up on her. One of the girls in the bridal party was in the store to check up on the order since they never call you back and there was a older couple think it was the parents of a bride and they couldn't even find her dress, and then there was also a bride that was there to try on her dress well they sold it to someone else. Here is a place that take 2 mons longer to get your dress but then tells you you have 48 hours after it comes in to try it on and get a refund or have them order you something else if you dont make it in in that 48 hours you better hope its the right dress and it fits you or you are stuck with it. I am not one that typically writes reviews, however, I just have to rave about my experience at Complete Bridal with David! This was my first time looking for a wedding dress and I am so glad this place was recommended to me! I have been to other bridal shops and nothing compares to this one! Let me start out by saying I am a very picky, but indecisive person and David was tremendously helpful in picking out dresses that were unique to my taste as well as what he knew would look great on my body type. He knows what he is talking about and has an incredible sense of style. We were immediately greeted with enthusiasm when we showed up to the appointment and David made sure to dedicate his full attention to me for the whole duration of our time there. Not only did he find me the perfect dress, but he made the entire experience a lot of fun, kept us laughing the entire time, and the price was unbeatable! He even cut up a piece of his merchandise just so I could see how it would look on me! I could feel how much David truly cared about finding me a dress that I would absolutely love. I wanted to give this rating one star since it seems to me, that all the good ratings are hidden or you really have to go digging. I can't speak highly enough of David and his salon. My mother took me here after the terrible nightmare of an experience I had at David's Bridal. David from Complete Bridal was a total breath of fresh air. He took one look at me, pulled 4 gowns, and I ended up purchasing the 2nd gown I tried on. I felt like a princess, I looked like Cinderella, and he treated me like a queen. I've since brought back two of my girlfriends, one who also purchased her gown from here. David was wonderful. Anyone who gave him or his salon a poor rating, is sadly mistaken or had unrealistic expectations. I would strongly advise anyone who is looking for the "bride to be" experience, go see David. He is WONDERFUL!!! read more

The owner Dave is a complete jerk. I went in during a day they were "filming" and I waited 30 minutes before being asked if I needed helped, I then pulled my own dresses and waited another 10 minutes before being asked if I wanted a fitting room. The young boy that helped me- was suppose to be helping me - never came back in while I was trying on dresses, never asked how i was doing, never asked if he could help pin a dress NOTHING AT ALL. four boys including the owner dave were all fighting about who was going to be on camera next. It was a complete joke. NOT HAPPY WITH THIS BRIDAL STORE AT ALL. there dresses are also very trashy. They are ripped and there are stains on them, there very high priced for quality. They advertise for $75 prom dresses Thats a complete joke too!!! The seamstress does what she wants not what you want. This place is a mess I would not recommend this store to anyone. For my prom, I was looking for a big poofy ball gown like the ones you see in movies. As Complete Bridal was the only place to find these in the area, naturally it was the place to go. I went to David for both my junior and senior proms, both times I found the perfect dress, and both times my parents had to threaten to sue for their money back if that dress did not come in on time. Don't get me wrong, the dresses ended up coming; however, that was TWO MONTHS LATER than the time David said they would show up. The first time I figured it was my fault (we started shopping a bit late), but the second time I placed the order for my dress seven months in advance. It didn't come in until five days before prom. The dresses there may look amazing, but they are so unprofessional it isn't even worth it. They are less than punctual and David can get really snotty at times. read more

With only 6 months to go before my wedding and being 6ft tall, I had not a minute to spare in finding the wedding gown I would love and that would fit! I called Complete Bridal with one style dress in mind! The consultant David was so personable I felt like I was talking to a friend about the style of gown I wanted. He asked some questions to somewhat "size me up" and immediately researched 4 or 5 gowns that he thought I might look good in and this was over the phone! I went to the store even though the gown I decided upon was not available for me try. I was so settled on one particular gown seen in a picture only that I ordered without seeing it. David made me feel so comfortable about my choice and was extremely honest during the process. He measured me and when my gown arrived it was near perfection!!!! I was so happy. He even went the extra mile and did an impromptu photo shoot so I could have a photo for my reception. Even that turned out fantastic. Honestly, I almost cannot believe that I went to one shop, had one consultant who advised me, measured me, ordered my gown, answered all my many anxious phone calls and ended up being the same person who personally walked me to my car and put my gown inside. I swear if I didn't know better I would have thought I was his only customer! That's the level of personal attention he provide. Simply AMAZING! Just like my wedding gown....AMAZING! My wedding was a little over a year ago & hands down the worst experience I had planning it was dealing with this store for my bridesmaid's dresses. At first David was very helpful & I loved the dress we decided on. We ordered the dresses in March for my September wedding. In July I called to check on the status of the dresses & was told they should be arriving in the next week or 2. He also told me at this time that they didn't have proof that the girls made deposits for the dresses, which was 100% incorrect. August came & still, no dresses or call from the store. I called back & was told the dresses were shipping by boat from the manufacturer in China & they didn't know the status of the dresses. I kept getting the run around from David for the next week or 2 as to where my dresses were & I eventually had to have my now husband call & be more "firm" with David than I am capable of. My dresses magically showed up about a week later, less than 2 weeks before my wedding however. I decided to just go pick the dresses up for my bridesmaids since the store was far from most of their homes, I wanted to get them in the girls' hands ASAP so they could get the dresses altered. When I picked them up, my Mom & I looked over the dresses & they all appeared fine. As soon as the girls began trying them on however it was a different story. The dresses were so poorly made, Complete Bridal Salon & Bill Levkoff should be embarrassed to sell a product like that. All of the dresses were extremely long in the front & short in the back. My sister & maid-of-honor's dress was so short in back that the only option was to cut the whole skirt & make it a knee length dress., & she is only 5'4"! When I contacted David about the situation & how disappointed I was with the whole experience he of course blamed the manufacturer. He went so far as to give me the number for someone who works in sales at Bill Levkoff & told me to talk to him about it. I called this man, & he basically yelled at me saying I need to address the issue with the store & that David never should have given me his number. David also asked me to send pictures of the dresses to him (as I took before & after shots) & he would address the issue with Bill Levkoff. Needless to say, he never got back to me or returned my phone calls. If you are looking to buy a wedding gown, bridesmaid/prom/special occasion dress, DO NOT go here. Purchasing from this store is the only regret I have about my wedding, I hope I can save some other women the frustration & disappointment I had to deal with during the most exciting time of my life. read more

I had visited this place once as a bridesmaid and we had such a fun experience! David was pulling dresses left and right and his honest opinion was spot on. However, at that time we had not found a dress there that we could agree on so we didn't purchase from them. Because of our fun experience we decided to go back when I was getting married for my bridesmaids' dresses. I was looking for a specific color and most of the collections they carried didn't have the right color. However, there was a dress in my color that we all fell in love with. It was the dress we went with and every one of my bridesmaids, including a pregnant one, looked great! All of them came in, the right orders, the right sizes. At first David was very helpful and guarenteed the dresses would be in on time. We had 6 months to the wedding and he said they would be in well before that. I was honest about the wedding date (never ever tell them the actual date. tell them a month before!) When all the girls placed their orders he was supposed to place the full order. I'm not quite sure that this happened. The girls said it was a little sketchy when calling in, his minion (the assistant) seemed to be an idiot and not have a clue about anything. I ride the trail that runs near the shop so I would stop in every once in a while to check in. Well, all of a sudden he claimed the girls didn't order until June (a lie, because I called to confim late March) and the dresses weren't going to be in late July like he said but sometime in August. Ok, whatever I can deal. August rolls around and no one seems to be returning my calls. So I go in again to find out what is going on. He claimed to have called the manufacturer, they were being shipped but something about the dresses being on a boat from China and arriving in California. blah blah blah. He had the nerve to tell me that I shouldn't be "poo pooing" about it and that he has a sign posted the dresses take at least 5 1/2 months to arrive. I told him that he should have refused my order at the time and say that there was the possiblity of them not arriving on time. He then said that he's never had a dress not arrive for the wedding. I said it doesn't count if it arrives the day of. I would not call myself a bridezilla. I had very few blips in the planning process besides this one. At this point my sister took over because I am too nice and she finally picked up the dresses about 10 days before the wedding. Take this for what it's worth. In the end, everything turned out fine. No one was rude other than David being snarky at times. His assistant just seemed like a drone. I'd much rather go back and deal with House of Hell, I mean Brides, than this place. read more

Dave has made my shopping experience so memorable! I was ready to hate dress shopping but Dave and his team made me feel amazing all day. They were able to pick dresses that were perfect for my body type. We just went and selected bridesmaid dresses from his salon also! Brandon was able to choose a dress for my bridesmaids within the first couple minutes he started helping us. Thank you complete bridal for such amazing experiences. Both mothers plan on shopping there also! Can not wait for my halloween wedding and to see the dresses all together and how they complete my theme! read more

ok let me first say I had ONE good experience here... The day I picked out my dress. I ordered it Jan of 2013, it was due in July 28th 2013, when this date approached I called the store to check in, I was promptly told, Oh NO it is due to SHIP that date, expect your dress in 6 weeks.... I gave 7 due to the dates landing around a holiday. I called to check on my dress, they had to call the distributor to find out about it, they said they would call me back that day, I never got a call back. 2 days later I went up to the store as it was 5 min down the road from where I live. They had to call and ask about my dress again. over a week passed, I had to call AGAIN at this time I was asked to come in and try on some dresses my dress had not shipped yet, and they wanted to give me a chance to try on the new styles that had came in. lets not forget my dress i ordered was already paid in full in June. I said fine, but still wanted the dress I ordered in JANUARY. My dress was FINALLY going to be ordered I stayed as the owner called them to send it.. he had to leave a message. a few weeks later when i was then told Oh your dress came in but it was the wrong color ( after I called to check on its status) , it came in white I ordred IVORY. It was to be sent back again in the correct color. it was going to be sent over night to come back. It was at this point it is now NOVEMBER 14TH to be exact. My next dress fitting was December 2nd, i planned on one last alteration for a part to be taken in after the length and bustle were already completed. my last fitting and to pick up the dress for my wedding was Jan 25th, I had a destination wedding in mexico leaving just barely over a week later... I went to place my dress on and IT WAS NEVER FINISHED!!!! apparently the alterations lady went to Guadalajara or something my Dress sat over a MONTH and a HALF with no one completing it. The owner had to call an alterations person who by the way was clearly NOT at my fitting to be sure all the work was completed (her assistant had to be called since the main person was still ovb. gone) They wanted me to pick it up 6 days later, I said NO, the earliest I was told i could was Wed (less then one week from when I was to leave the country) PISSED OFF DOESN'T even begin to cover what was running thru my mind. The owner said this could not reflect poorly on him because it was not his fault, Well sorry but you chose to utilize a specific seamstress (rosa's) in your salon, it most certainly reflects poor on you if work is not completed on time. MY opinion is stay away, to many small issues of asking where my dress is and feeling pressured and as many times as I was in the store I had to re-live mult of the same questions... just steer clear or lie by 3mo for your dress, and DO NOT use the alterations person there!! read more

HEY!!! Yelp!! I left a 5 star review for Complete Bridal the other day!! Where is it???!!!!!

Although I did not end up getting my wedding dress at Complete Bridal, my experience with David and his staff was outstanding. While there is a beautiful selection of gowns at his salon, the style I was looking for was something that he did not have. Instead of trying to talk me into one of his dresses, David sat with my for at least an hour looking up designers online and giving me advice on the whole process of looking for a dress (his shop was the first I visited as it came highly recommended by many friends and past clients of his). All is all, Complete Bridal gave me a wonderful experience when it came to finding a dress. Total customer satisfaction. read more

My daughter purchased her wedding dress from this vendor. Sadly, the dress didn't hold up longer then 6 hours! There was a hook but no eye, the loop that was to hold the lace overlay on the button was ripped, the zipper completely ripped and the seams below the zipper also ripped! At the last fitting the owner David suggested replacing the zipper. When I asked Silvia the seamstress to replace it she refused! She said it was unnecessary! Well, she was wrong! Shortly after my daughter reception started, the dress began falling apart! There were 5 women in the Bridal room attempting to sew her dress together so she could enjoy her reception. All the attempts at sewing the dress together were futile! Someone had the idea of feeding the veil down the back of the dress and through the hole to cover my daughter up! Wearing a veil like a tail was never in the vision we had for her! I have called David twice but he has washed his hands to it. He claims the seamstress works on her own. When my daughter was considering purchasing a gown David bragged that his seamstresses were the best around! First sign of trouble and he washes his hands to everything! I have emailed pictures of the ruined dress to Silvia requesting a response but haven't received one! He is a wonderful salesmen, but what is the quality of the dresses he is selling? No reputable company would ignore this disastrous situation! read more
