They will offer expert advise reguarding repairs to your vehicle and they won't jocky you around suggesting repairs that aren't absolutely necessary. Alex helped me replace the master cylinder and slave cylinder in my 2006 Toyota Tacoma when I was having trouble with the clutch. He also helped replace my brakes, rotors and front calipers after I had worn them down beyond repair. He stayed late after the shop's scheduled hours to help get the job done in a timely fashion and get me back on the road. The bottom line is all the work was completed for about one quarter of the cost that LaFontaine Toyota in Dearbron quoted me and the quality of the service preformed is unrivaled; It has been over a year since the service was completed and I have not had any addtional problems since! I lost my nearly eight year old vehicle to a deer strike on a busy road. Fortunately the vehicle…read moredid its job, and the people (and the deer) all walked away, but the vehicle was a total loss. The location where I purchased that vehicle was no longer open, so I hunted for a new location and a replacement vehicle. My better half stumbled on an ad for a vehicle that seemed a little under the going rate, but it had all the options we needed, so we decided to check it out. What I loved most about the experience was how everyone in the dealership worked together. Ilene helped us into a good vehicle that was well inside our price range, and handled all the documentation for us over the course of an afternoon, while we waited for the adjusters to cut the check. Mike got us all signed out that day, and Mohamed made sure the car was ready to go after they found one TPMS sensor disconnected on the final check. Everything was handled quickly and professionally, and I could even turn my rental in a full day early and close the entire experience with a newer vehicle that my family really enjoys. Thank you!

Review for Feldman Chevrolet of Livonia - Service Center (Plymouth Rd.)…read moreMy experience with the service department has been nothing short of horrible. I brought my vehicle in at the beginning of the year for a simple oil change and to address a rearview camera issue. I was told the part needed to fix the camera was out of stock and they'd call when it arrived. That call never came. Fast forward nearly six months, my A/C stops working--on a car that's not even a year old. I bring it in again and remind them that the rearview camera is still not working. Shortly after, I receive a call from service advisor, who not only tells me that the camera was supposedly fixed months ago (which was news to me), but goes on to argue with me about it. I had paperwork proving otherwise. This mistake was conveniently blamed on a previous advisor who had since been fired, which I was told was "deserved." What do you know? Suddenly, the camera is magically repaired within a week. So much for that "part being out of stock" for six months. But that's just where the headache began. Over the next 6 weeks, I played endless games of phone tag. When I did get someone on the line, I was repeatedly told, "early next week" or "just a few more days." Spoiler alert: those promises were never kept. Finally, after about five or six weeks, I'm informed they broke something in my dash and had to replace the entire thing. After 48 days, I'm told it's finally done and will be ready to pick up the next morning. I called around 12:30 PM to confirm and was told it was finished and just being detailed and they'd call me back when it was ready. No call came. By 4:30 PM, I decided to just show up. I walk into the service department and not only am I met with blank stares and annoyed attitudes, but when I tell them I'm here to pick up my car, I'm treated like an inconvenience. Eventually, "my service advisor"finishes a phone call and goes to get my car, only to tell me it was just about to be detailed. So...what was happening at 12:30 when I was told it was already being detailed? At this point, I didn't care and just wanted my car back, so I dealt with their trash left inside my car because I wanted to leave. To top it off, when I returned the loaner (which they acted like they didn't have any when I first asked for one and it was a nuisance that I was asking), the person at the loaner desk also had an attitude. I assume actually doing her job must've been the issue. So after 7 weeks without my car, being lied to, argued with, and treated like a burden, I'm done. My family has purchased 8 trucks and SUV's from Feldman Chevrolet of Livonia over the last 7 years or so and that ends now. We will not be returning for service or for future purchases.

Called David the owner for an appointment. Went to the shop at the arranged time. Unfortunately…read morethe mechanic had left two vehicles on the only two lifts. David apologized and cleared my check engine light and asked me to call back. In the meantime the check engine light came on again confirming I had a bad oxygen sensor. I had purchased my own parts and was ready for the installation. When David and I next talked he offered to come to my house pick up my car and take it back to the shop to fix the problem. David came to my house and repaired the car and brought it back. Wow what service! The price he charged me for the labor was very fair and lower than any other bids I had obtained. Despite the early appointment issue David more than made up for it with his kind offer. The car runs fine and David gave me the old parts verifying the replacement. I would definitely use this clinic again for any auto repair issues. Thank you David!!
