Our car has been in 5 times over the last 7 months for them to fix minor damage caused by a deer…read more Front bumper cover replacement and very minor repair to hood, which required painting it. Hood had a very large about of sanding marks throughout, along with a very large eye shape that was caused presumably by improper prep after sanding through the original clear coat. They attempted to "fix" this 3 times before repainting it this last time. Most of the hood looks better, but even after having it two weeks, they still sent it off with a similar large eye shape on the opposite side of the hood from before. Avoid at all costs. At this point I'm not even sure they have anyone capable of doing decent work in the entire building! They'll get it back until it's right, however long that takes, but my guess is it will be well into next year before that happens.

I CANNOT recommend Abra. I had some damage done to my hood. I took it to two places to get…read moreestimates. The first place could not get me in until Thursday, Abra could get me in on Wednesday. Since I had plans to leave town on Friday and after speaking to Tyson and telling him of my plans to leave town he said it was a two day process, maybe less. At this time I also specifically asked Tyson to keep me in the loop should any changes occur that I needed to know about. So I made the appointment and dropped it off Wednesday morning at 9am. Again I asked Tyson to get assurance that it would be done by end of day Thursday. He said yes, since I dropped it off as early as I did he said they would get started on it right away. I left in my rental car confident I had picked the right business. Thursday morning I called and Tyson said it would be done by that afternoon. A little after 4pm and I had not heard anything. I call and asked for Tyson. I am told he is out in the shop and could not hear the page and the lady on the other end says she will go give him the message to call. Another 20+ minutes go by and no call. So I drive over there to speak with Tyson directly. He says he has been so busy that he has not had time to check on my car all afternoon. Say what? Unacceptable. He looks at the car comes back and says they need to paint it a second time. Something that could have been done if he had only done what he said he would do and make sure my car was done by end of day Thursday. Then he says the painters took off part of the day on Thursday for training. Flabbergasted, I asked, "did you know about this when I dropped off the car and you said it would be done Thursday evening?" He said he could not remember if he knew that or not. I asked him how long they were gone for their training, he just looked at me and said he could not answer that either. And not ONCE did I get a call to inform me of any of this so I am stuck leaving the car there another night and having to change the plans I have made well in advance at the last minute. I understand things happen. That is exactly why I ask to be kept in the loop so I would not be caught off guard and have to change my plans at the last minute. I hope they take this as a learning experience to treat the customers like customers on which their paycheck depends and deliver when they say they will or inform the customer in a timely fashion if plans change. Until they get more and better help in place, I cannot recommend Abra.
