I just finished the RTC and PHP levels of care at compassions. I am a decorated Marine Veteran who has deployed to the Middle East on two separate occasions. I was diagnosed with Combat Related PTSD Feb 20th 2021; upon entering compassions I was manic, hyper vigilant, depressed, anxious and struggled with suicidal ideation, oh, and I had a massive drinking problem. Thats a pretty tall order for any clinical staff to handle, but compassions turned things around in my life. The group therapy and individual therapy were very informative and life changing. The residence was always kept clean and maintained, they had a nice sized pool that I frequently swam in, we sometimes practiced yoga (don't knock it until you try it), meditation and breathing exercises outside by the lake where the beautiful ducks and cranes cohabitated. If you can imagine this: sitting in the grassy shade by a lake filled with jumping fish on an 80 degree day meditating with cool down to earth therapists, then compassions is the place for you. My traumas were catered to, trust me it was NOT easy, but my therapist (Jen) equipped me with so many skills to take back my life. I couldn't thank her enough, she's literally the greatest of all time (G.O.A.T.) The medical practitioner ensured that I received the medications that I needed and that I was stabilized long before I left the program. I have nothing bad to say about the program at all. I loved it, from the groups, to the community outings to the Beach or movies, to having food catered in. It was well worth every minute I spent there because I am still applying the skills I learned to my everyday life, where the REAL WORK has started. Thank you so much. I can't say enough positive things about my experience here. When I finally hit my rock bottom with alcohol and depression this place saved my life. The connections I have made here I hope will last a lifetime. Hailey was my therapist and I was able to open up to her about things I had been "stuffing down" for over half my life. I never felt judged or embarrassed. Blake was my case manager and his door was always open, even if all I needed was to vent, cry, or just breathe. He went out of his way to make sure anything I needed was taken care of. The clinical facilitators, therapists, and techs all made my stay here surprisingly enjoyable and definitely comfortable. someone asked who my favorite tech is and I loved all of them. I learned ALOT from these people because most of them have lived my life and I gained a lot of knowledge from them. Shoutout to Rich, Miguel, Tiki, Tasha, Alix, Tamekia and Ty. I have just finished the PHP Program at CBH, after years of fighting off severe depression and anxiety. This place has been really great for my mental health. As a dual-diagnosis facility, I was a bit skeptical at first, being that I don't struggle with substance abuse and just mental health, but I have been very surprised with how both mental health and substance abuse diagnosis' stem from very much the same place. Many mindfulness techniques and coping skills help people that struggle with either substance abuse or mental health, as most people that struggle with substance abuse do as a result of their mental health. The bottom line is that everybody here at CBH really does care about their clients. As with anything, if you are nice to people they will be nice to you back. The Behavioral Techs and administration treat everybody with respect, and as with any program, you'll get out of it exactly what you put into it. Participate in the group therapy sessions. Learn from the facilitators. Learn to trust your therapist. Be present and fully take advantage of everything that is offered in the program, and you will not regret it. read more

I arrived at CBH on Nov. 23, 2024. I am so glad that I picked this place to do my mental health rehab. The place is secured, my safety was met the entire time I was there. The staff is friendly and everyone made sure I felt heard with my needs. Elena is an amazing case manager and Barbara is a terrific therapist. The food needs were met as well ( I had special diet). Elena helped me with multiple things including state assistance. She was very welcoming as well as my therapist and the nursing staff. As far as the community everyone was very respectful and CBH has nice room accommodations plus, after group they have yoga, dog therapy, chiropractor and karaoke (each came of different days). I am very pleased with this place and I 100% recommend it. Lastly, the groups conversations helped me a lot and educated to improve my mental health. Thanks! read more

This program is amazing! I truly appreciate all that the staff did for my experience at CBH residential. The techs and nurses were so caring and concerned for my well-being. The therapists and facilitators were also overly helpful and kind, not to mention very serious about the therapeutic process. My time with Compassion Behavioral Health, was awesome. I checked in for Mental Health Services and was awe inspired by the attention garnered daily.
