I became the clinical director…read morethere four years ago and did two groups a month, supervised the therapists, helping one to become licensed, and most of all worked with clients helping them overcome substance use disorders. Addiction to drugs - always remembering that alcohol is a drug, is an ongoing problem in our country and GreenLife IOP is doing its part to help end the problem in our small corner of the world. Most of our clients are extraordinary people living regular lives - First responder, nurses, doctors, barbers, college professors, students, stay-at-homme moms, lawyers, just about every job and profession you can think of. All deserving of a chance to rebuild their lives and families. A special thanks to Zvi Itzchaki and Raija Itzchaki, the owners - CEO and COO respectively. They created a family atmosphere for the clients and especially with the staff. I've never worked anywhere else that had staff meetings at five-star restaurants! Besides being excellent employers, they are also great parents of two young men. They have an amazing personal story of love and resilience. I am grateful to have worked with my colleagues Dr. Andy Bunce, Cat Coppola, Aggie Bien-Aime, and Taylor Maddox. You cannot find a more dedicated group of clinicians anywhere. Best of luck, congratulations, and best wishes to Kayla Katz, the new clinical director; I know this important work will continue under her guidance. To this day, I'm still close friends with someone I had met while in this program and she was offered a grant to attend for free, and ended up leaving because the male owner (Zvi aka Joseph) followed her into the womans bathroom, to do a mandatory UA, almost even into the personal stall, but then stopped and frantically/nervously walked out when he noticed another woman in the bathroom. Although it was a free grant, she immediately left, shaken and traumatized especially having a past involving traumatic experiences which the owners and staff were all already aware of. Mind you, THIS IS COMPLETELY ILLEGAL AND UTTERLY DISGUSTING. THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED AND SHUT DOWN. IMMEDIATELY.

They are available to the family, return phone calls and immediately deal with any concerns. Cody the Executive Director is always available and incredibly caring. Perry the Food Director, does a great job to please the patients' palate. The Activities Director is engaging and did a great job for Mother's Day. The PT staff is exceptional and helped my Mom so much. The only problem is that she only received 1 hr. per day. (possibly due to AETNA's policies. So if the only issue you have is mobility you may want to go to a facility that specializes in mobility. Cecile the discharge nurse worked very hard to get Mom what she needed upon her release. Lastly, the staff is human so always be involved in the care, medication etc. of your loved one. If a mistake is made this group of people immediately try to rectify it. I would use this facility again if needed

During my initial virtual appointment, I shared extensive personal and sensitive information, making the lack of communication and follow-through even more concerning. Unprofessional experience. The doctors visit the patients at least once a week. The place and the patients are kept very clean. The physical therapists try to make session as pleasant as possible. Some people will not make any effort in physical therapy. This will of course result in poor out-come. The food is better than average institutional cooking. The patients are given choices of food.

We're disappointed with Memorial Manor. My 90 yr old mother was admitted there on a Friday night…read moreafter a hip replacement surgery. I had my doubts to the success of her recovery due to not only her age but also that she has dementia. She had her first PT session on Monday morning which I was surprised and grateful that she was engaged in the OT session but not so much in the PT session. The therapist was great, Ms. Kathy. Ms. Kathy was able to complete simple stand-ups and single steps 9xs. I was excited and felt that this was proof that my mom had a great chance of being somewhat mobile again. The following day my mom's energy and willingness to participate in her sessions was disappointing but nevertheless the therapist persisted with the sessions. On the third day my mom was lethargic and showed behaviors not like her normal self. The OT therapist noticed her behavior and contacted the nurse. My mom was returned to her room. She had a low grade fever and her wbc had spiked. She was sent back to the hospital and was diagnosed with a severe UTI. After a week of antibiotics in the hospital she is ready for discharge. Memorial Manor has declined her request to return there for therapy. The reason, as stated in her letter from Memorial Manor was, "your needs cannot be met at this facility ". I understand my mom comes with roadblocks but when she arrived there the first day I was told by employees that "this is the best rehab center around ". My mom was there a total of five days. The first two days (weekend) there is no therapy sessions. She was diagnosed with a UTI on the fifth day. I don't want to feel that they are responsible for the UTI. I do feel that "the best rehab center around" didn't even give my mom a chance.

Air Conditioning, New impressive television in each apartment, a VERY on the ball staff that never quits trying to help residents with whatever they need. There is a well landscaped courtyard. All repair or maintenance details are attended to at once. The insides of the apartments are brand new in appearance. This place doubtlessly has saved lives and will continue to be popular with those new to recovery, and those who have been clean or and sober for decades. Remarkable how the staff is able to multitask the way they do. those with medical problems are also attended to most carefully and efficiently. Highly recommended , unlike most other Sober Living houses I could review.

The staff at every level was fantastically helpful. From the unit manager Carlton, on E wing to the nurses Chloe & Jonathan, to the aides, to the social services people Cari & Jenna you have our deepest appreciation for your hard work & dedication in helping care for my mom & watching over my father during his visits. To the laundry staff who helped to find my mother's lost blanket which was a gift to her from her granddaughter, thank you! To all the therapists who worked with my mother, thank you. The first thing one notices at Sunrise is the happy disposition of all the staff. Everyone says hello with a smile. This must flow down from the top. Happy employees take good care of the patients. When it came time for my mother to move to another facility, Jenna & Cari did all they could to help & follow up. The facility is clean & doesn't smell. There are serene places to sit outside. All this is in contrast to the horrible experience at the vaunted Woodlands at John Knox Village. My mom was there twice and it was the same. Unhelpful & uninterested staff. Annoyed all the time. The Woodlands at John Knox Village is the dark night to the Sunrise Health & Rehab's bright day. I am more than 17 months clean and sober today, in no small part due to the treatment I received at…read moreAgape. Their patients are treated with respect, dignity, and unconditional love. My therapist, Cheryl was a godsend. After a little bit of trial and error, she started to see through my BS and we worked together to help me get better. The nursing and medical staff were always available, they helped straighten out my medication to help me be productive and happy to be alive for the first time in a long time. The collaborative group therapy here was excellent. There was the occasional dud of a facilitator, but they were few and far between in the six months I was going there regularly. Admitting that I wasn't strong enough to do it on my own was hard for me. Calling Agape the first time was the hardest phone call I've ever made. But I'm thankful every day that I did. Because I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be around if I hadn't.
