My experience at New Hope was extremely disappointing…read more Residents are placed in overcrowded rooms -- 4 people to a room, with about 16-17 people total sharing only two bathrooms. There is very little privacy and the living conditions feel more like storage than support. For a place that claims to focus on rehabilitation, the environment does not reflect care, structure, or dignity. The staff's approach is also concerning. Instead of support and guidance, interactions often felt threatening. Residents are reminded that they can be evicted at any time for any reason, which creates fear rather than stability. When people are trying to rebuild their lives, they need structure and encouragement -- not intimidation. It feels like the focus is more on collecting money than genuinely helping people rehabilitate or receive proper counseling. Programs like this should prioritize recovery, accountability, and respect. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. I hope they improve their conditions and approach so future residents receive the support they deserve. Also like to add that you gotta pay $750 plus if you got food stamp you gotta give her $180 at your food stamp this lady robbing people figuratively.
