We had a very frustrating and disappointing experience today…read more My young son requires regular medication, and we had a scheduled call that was important to his care. The staff member we were supposed to speak with logged in late (this has happened before). After waiting about 10 minutes, I logged out and back in. During that brief window, she apparently joined, and shortly after, another staff member left a message saying we had left the call and that the appointment could no longer happen. In total, we wasted close to 30 minutes, only to be told there was nothing they could do. When I expressed frustration (which I think is completely reasonable given the circumstances) I was told to "calm down." That response was dismissive and inappropriate, especially when a child's medical needs are involved. Missed appointments, poor communication, and condescending responses are not acceptable in a setting like this. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this business.

I have never had such a great experience with a psychiatrist before. He doesn't just dose the meds, he takes time to get to know the person and offer recommendations. Wow. Thank you, Dr. Lin. I am very impressed by your caring attitude and skills.

Before him, I had experiences where I felt like I had to fight to be heard, rush through concerns, or only share the "important" symptoms because I worried the provider didn't have time for the rest. That kind of environment makes it hard to be vulnerable or honest. With Dr. Tran, it's the complete opposite. For the first time, I feel like I can say everything without needing to filter or edit myself. He listens to the full story, even when I'm rambling, anxious, or unsure how to articulate what l'm feeling. He doesn't interrupt. He doesn't rush me along. He doesn't jump to conclusions. He lets me speak in my own pace and my own way. Then, once I'm finished, he reflects back what he heard - not in a robotic way, but in a way that makes it clear he truly understood what I meant, not just what I said. That level of careful listening has helped me open up more than I ever have in mental health treatment. There have been sessions where I walked in overwhelmed, on the verge of tears, or feeling completely lost. He never looks uncomfortable or impatient. He stays calm, grounded, and steady, gently guiding me through the conversation until I can breathe again and see things clearly. That kind of support has been invaluable. And when I have questions -- whether about symptoms, medications, or even just the emotional experience of what I'm going through -- he answers them thoroughly and thoughtfully. Never rushed. Never dismissive. Never acting like I should already know the answer. I always leave appointments feeling more informed, more grounded, and more seen. Because I finally feel truly heard, my progress has accelerated dramatically. I'm able to share things I've held in for years, and that honesty has transformed the way I understand myself. I can't express how rare and meaningful that experience has been.

What makes Dr. Tran stand out from almost every provider I've seen is his ability to see the whole…read moreperson, not just the diagnosis. So many clinicians focus only on symptom checklists: sleep, appetite, energy, mood rating, anxiety level. But they overlook the deeper layers that drive those symptoms. Dr. Tran does the opposite. He understands that mental health is connected to everything: relationships, identity, stress, physical health, past experiences, lifestyle, trauma, even daily habits. And he weaves all of those layers into treatment in a way that feels seamless and supportive.   He asks about what's happening at work, at home, socially, emotionally, physically. Not out of curiosity, but because he understands how interconnected each part of life is. He notices patterns between sleep, stress, mood, and behavior. He helps me understand how certain environments impact me or how certain habits influence my energy. His holistic approach isn't just psychological. It's practical. He encourages healthy routines, grounding techniques, boundaries, coping strategies, scheduling adjustments, and lifestyle shifts that actually fit into my life. None of it feels overwhelming or unrealistic. He explains why each change matters and how it supports the bigger picture. Because he treats me as a whole person, I've noticed improvements far beyond my initial symptoms. My confidence is higher. My energy is better. My daily functioning has improved. I feel more balanced emotionally and more capable mentally. Working with him has shown me what psychiatric care should be: not just symptom management, but true whole-person healing.

I recently was advised by my Primary Care physician to go back to Therapy and back to a psychiatrist to get back on medication to help my problems related to my ongoing condition from childhood. I relayed this to Moses Morar, and to my surprise He had no recollection of me being his patient. The blatant disrespect the physician even had to question if I was telling the truth is despicable. I'm a grown man, not some teen punk trying to get drugs.. I thought I had rapport with this guy, and at least a paper trail of receipts on his end. But Nada. Just me and my solid book of receipts and past prescriptions, he prescribed me and paper trail. Very upsetting and embarrassing. I paid btw. I do not recommend this facility you will not get the medication you need.

I am incredibly disappointed with my care here at alliance psychiatric group…read more I have changed doctors over the past few years. My last doctor was impossible to get ahold of if i had any issues outside of an appointment. Which tends to happen when you are new and trying new medications. The office doesn't answer the phone. They only talk over text. Over the past year I have been very consistent with rebooking my appointments at the end of my appointments to avoid the front office. I must have forgotten to rebook an appointment because I was nearing the end of my bottle of anti-depressants and noticed that I didn't have an appointment on the books. I tried contacting the front office and I asked them if i could get a short order to hold me over and they refused and told me that the only opening would be after my prescription ran out. They offered no solution to my issue. They ended up squeezing me in but not until a lot of back and forth. Last week they send me this text: hello Stephanie, your insurance is currently returning as inactive! I just got married and ended up having to change insurance. When i told them it was Tricare and asked if they took it they replied, "We do not accept Tricare!" I am fine with finding another doctor because I cannot stand the incompetency of the front desk. Why are you texting me? Why is there an explanation point at the end? Why do you have absolutely no customer service etiquette at all! You are dealing with people with anxiety issues. 3 years ago, when i first came here these interactions would rile me up into tears. Thankfully I've grown but after telling them I'll have to find another doctor the response was, "I'll cancel the appointment!" My last appointment was pretty serious. Does Dr. Niko even know that I am no longer a patient due to insurance issues? Isn't there a process one needs to go through to leave a doctor's care as I find a replacement? I'm pretty upset I'm not even getting a last check in to make sure that I am okay due to the nature of our last appointment.

I have discontinued going to this doctor as he accepts so many patients he does not have available timely appointment for follow up. For example he says let's meet in 6 weeks although his next available appointment is in 3 months. The regulation that you need to follow has nothing to do with bad service Dr E. Yes you refilled every time I requested but I got my refills after a week. I don't think medications would work with an on and off consumption. The brain scan and the counsel and the supplement advice I received were helpful to know, but I think I could have gotten a lot more out of those $5,000. It really didn't tell me anything new and they didn't prescribe me anything revolutionary. Even though I can see what's going on with my brain, you still have to think your way through this. So I don't think if you're considering whether you should spend $6,660 at the Amen Clinic or invest it in cognitive behavioral therapy, I say you'd be better off using it on therapy. It was an interesting experience, albeit expensive and not so fruitful, but I think the worst part is the not getting prescriptions renewed because I don't want to pay 500 bucks an hour. I found it's not a true "care" or solution place- it's a profit center primarily, with short-term focus and poor priorities for human care.

The same admissions person said "the home i would be in would have shared rooms, but plenty of bathrooms". I arrived to the house which had 1 bathroom shared among 7 women.
