I had insurance and Dr. Murphy had assured me that because of the results of my field of vision tests my insurance would pay for either surgery. He referred me to Butterfield. I made that appointment and as I stated earlier I met with her. She didn't take the time to see the results of my dx. from Dr. Murphy. She said, and I'll never forget it, that she would never bill my insurance for a cosmetic procedure. I found Dr. Swelstad of Regenesis Plastic Surgery and he performed the lacrimal gland suspension as well as the eye left that accompanies the suspension. He was kind and thoughtful and he listened to me. He's a great surgeon. In case you too have been dismissive by Butterfield. Lori Hutchens
