Received great care - efficient and caring and appreciated the kind people. Better than most urgent care centers.

(Watch for the man in the picture, this is about him) I drove about an hour to get my s/o to the…read moreemergency room after a days sickness only getting worse. We entered the emergency room and were given papers to fill out. After that they then gave us more papers with similar questions, so my s/o filled out what was important (as hes hunched over in pain) and gave the sheet back with spaces like religion unanswered. The women at the desk asked to finish it and after telling her (not yelling or being rude but upset bc hes been in pain), he was throwing up blood and really just needs a doctor now the "security" guy proceeded to rush from his station and yell, practically scream, right in our faces. Truly dont know why he was yelling, he was so mad his face was red and he couldn't even speak properly. I've never seen a security guard act this way and especially not with someone who just said they were throwing up blood. In a hospital you need compassion and understanding and this guy lacked both of these things. I called the cops immediately after he pushed himself closer and kept screaming at myself and my sick partner. We were advised by dispatch to distance ourselves until police arrived but instead now 4 security guys stood over us, cornered in the waiting room and blocking the only exit; and only moved when the sheriff's truck pulled up outside. Then explaining to the cops our side of the story, the 2/4 men proceeded to insert themselves until the police told them to back off. After our 3+ hour visit we asked for his name to make a proper complaint and were only given a card by the manager with a number to call and make a complaint with 'patient advocate'. If you are at common spirit or in the emergency department keep your eye out for the bald man with glasses who doesn't seem fully right in the head, he may just scream at you for being in pain. The nurses and doctor were very nice but security needs better hires and more training apparently. I was only going to make a proper complaint but since I cannot do that without the name of who I had a unpleasant interaction with im leaving this review on the chance nothing happens and he continues to act a fool. This is also posted on Google to cover my bases

I thought women's healthcare was bad when I was younger but this is insane! Perhaps CommonSpirit St Anthony Summit Hospital should review this doctors bedside manner as well as their medical practices. This type of treatment is why women don't go to the hospital! It is unacceptable. Also tried calling their patient relations office (they usually list the number in answer to the bad reviews) only to get their voicemail, which again, just shows it's not about advocating for the patient. Get a human to answer the phone.

Have some compassion Heather! We deserve it! When I was getting my port flushed, I had asked the nurse accessing my port a question. Heather came over and in a Sturn Parent voice. You do not treat people like crap when they , I am already feeling like crap! I may never go back she was that mean.

FIRST OFF, DO NOT GO TO ST. ANTHONY'S SUMMIT MEDICAL CENTER!!!!!! I would rather sit in pain for 3…read morehours down the mountain to Denver than go here ever again. You pay a ridiculous amount of money for them to do essentially nothing!!!!! I went to St. Anthony's Summit Medical Center in Frisco, Colorado on June 4th, 2022 due to a foreign object lodged in my eye. I tried my very best at home to get it out but it wasn't working so we made the decision to head to the ER in Frisco, Colorado. That was the start of a VERY BIG mistake. We arrived very late, around 1:30 or 2 in the morning, and had to wait for awhile. I wasn't worried about it thats fairly normal for an ER! Once I was admitted, I was greeted by a very stressed ER doctor. She had said that she was the only doctor there and had told me she would be right with me. 30 minutes later she is back and essentially asks the questions needed to know that I have something in my eye. She then proceeds to use a q tip to try and get the foreign object out of my eye with no luck. So then, surprisingly she asks my boyfriend to take the object out of my eye which he manages to do. So, we went to the ER to have my boyfriend take it out of my eye, what a waste of time! Again, no ones fault though that he managed to get it out after we drove and visited there. I was prepared to pay my bill for the eye drops she gave me and my visit there. Wellll........., get ready to sell your left kidney if you want to get any type of medical care here. I received a bill in the mail for a total of $3,837.09 for the 30 minutes I spent waiting after being admitted and for my boyfriend to take it out of my eye. I essentially paid $3,837.09 for eye drops. They charged me at a Level III ER charge, after doing some research is what is known as a "moderate severity & moderately complex case". Also did research on averages for level III charges and not ONE I LOOKED AT WAS ABOVE $2,500. They charged me $3,097.33 to have my BOYFRIEND end up taking it out of my eye. And on top of it charged me another $457.54 for a specific "Removal eye slit" procedure. One she didn't even do. So I disputed multiple times just for the $457.54 charge because they did NOT perform the procedure and received the same BS every time. I even had proof with a picture of the foreign object on my boyfriend's finger in the ER room which I sent over multiple times. Eventually a cute handwritten letter came addressed to me stating that because I stepped foot into an ER they had the right to charge me for a procedure that the licensed professional did NOT DO. I will attach some of the wordage in the letter below. Overall, lesson is do not go to the hospital here, you will not receive the care that the prices reflect. All I am saying is, if you are going to charge me an absurd amount at least do the job your charging me for. What a waste of time and money. Good riddance.
