This has been a great experience.
As a homeschooler, I meet people who ask me "What school do you go to?" and I have to answer with "Oh, um, I'm homeschooled..." and explain it all to them as they remind how "LUCKYYY!" I am to be homeschooled. People talk about things that everyone who goes to public school knows, but I don't go to public school, and just play along and keep quiet or ask what they're talking about and risk them being annoyed at having to explain it and laugh at me. In Compass, I don't feel out of place and my energy is spared.
I've fenced for the first time in "Fencing for Beginners and Advanced Beginners", learned acting after that being my dream as long as I can remember, and I learned to use my voice clearly in "Public Speaking". These classes, I wish I could take for the rest of my life. They're super fun. Also, if you want (your kids) to learn things like engineering, art, writing, or perhaps algebra, there are classes for things like that, too!
I also think that these classes can help you to discover your talents. I didn't know I was good at writing until I wrote a story for "Public Speaking"!
If I'm 100% honest, I HATE school. But this school is the only school that I love to go to and wish would go on every day.
