I received an email and phone call about who was coming out. I lucked out bc my appointment moved up to today which I really wanted anyway. Ethan and Zach were very professional and nice to talk too. I had a few areas I put my stuff at and they were fast loading. The bumper they put on the door frame was amazing because I had a couch that was pretty good size and with that on the door frame there wasn't any dents. For years, we carried around a huge shadow boxed autographed robe by Leon Spinks the night he knocked out Mohammed Ali. Before they arrived, I started googling the signature and started feeling like we were duped at the auction, & that the robe was a fake! ALONG WITH ALL THE JUNK THEY REMOVED FOR US prior to our move, we had Junk Away take this robe, as well, to donate as a costume. I had a ton of household items - broken furniture, some boxes, broken containers, etc. - too much for the local trash pickup. I took a trailer full to the Waste Management Okaloosa County Transfer Station. It was fairly easy. You drive the vehicle on to a scale. Pick up a safety vest. They tell you where to go to drop your stuff. Then you weigh your vehicle again on the way out. Easy enough. Be prepared, though, this place is no joke! It's an industrial area. I had a F-250 and was almost swallowed by the holes in the ground. It's wet, muddy, uneven. Wear the proper clothing. You pay by the pound. I had half a 16'x8' trailer and it was just shy of $12.
