Compass entertainment is one of the best things to have happened to the northern neck area. Thanks to the owner for building this magnificent facility with amazing theatre and arcade area. They also have outside play area for mini golf, go kart, baseball hitting cage and ice rink in the winter. We love going to the theatre on Tuesdays for half off price. One of the best theatres you will ever visit. Seats are world class with the best recliners and very comfortable. Screens are amazing and the audio quality is top notch. They have a restaurant and you can bring food inside. Arcade area is awesome for all age groups. Various things to keep yourself and your kids occupied for hours. Highly recommend checking out mini golf and go kart. If you're into baseball, you will love their batting cage as well. It has speed setup for various levels. They provide helmets and bats. Batting cages have timers on card preventing you from doing back to back sessions. They had a promotion for 1hr for $10 but you have a cooldown so you have to wait a lot. It's 3 mins between every swipe after each 20 pitches. Yes I'm inpatient and it's annoying to wait. Still a better deal than $3 every 20 pitches but not satisfied. read more

The popcorn was perfect and the employees were SO NICE! The movie theater was big even though it was empty and from view the kids area was nice. Definitely gonna rate this again. Compass is a nice place but the average family cannot afford it. Games have gone up to over $3 and to see a movie with 2 adults and 3 grandchildren 2 under 5 is $45 plus. Then you add in popcorn & drinks!!! read more

I booked a birthday party with their minimum 10 people (you will pay for 10 guests even if you don't have 10 guests). You can't book a party with less guests. The facility was not ready when my party arrived. It took over 30 minutes to get the arcade cards included in the package. My party was told that the 2 attractions that were paid for in the package were limited to 2 "swipes" per guest. This information was not provided on their website nor on the contract that I received. After talking to Xavier and Andrew, I was told there was nothing they would do to honor their contract. Shortly after denying my party any more access to the attractions, Xavier came to our party area and announced that we had to leave the facility. The only reason why I awarded 2 stars is the guests had a nice time until they were cut off. read more

This place is a Megacenter for all things fun. If you are looking for family fun or sunny days or rainy days Compass entertainment has you covered. They have a ropes course, zip line, rock climbing, batting cages, mini golf, movie theater, arcade, and so much more. We took the kids here during spring break and they had an absolute blast. The line to buy game cards can be really long but it's worth it because whatever you wanted to do is on those cards. They also have a restaurant on site that's like a sport bar so you can grab a bite to eat and get back to playing. This facility is located off the side of the road in a neighborhood which kinda through us for a loop when we first arrived. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and look forward to returning. read more

As major mini golf lovers we can actually say this is the most level and nicely put together course we have played on. A challenging and inventive course. The holes had drainage and you won't get wet picking your balls out. Full 18 holes +1 for getting a spare game. We were there while staff and maintenance was working outside and they were so nice to us. We thought the restaurant connected to it was something like movie or blowing ally cheep food. We decided to get one thing of fries and split them before we left and got something good to eat. SUCH a mistake! The Philly cheese and fries were so good those face pictures are a lie or exaggerated. I actually snapped that when he was first eating it. Our compliments to the chef! Wooo first reviewer! Compass Entertainment is a brand new and huge multipurpose indoor and outdoor entertainment complex that opened in August/September 2020. There's plenty to do for all ages. There are COVID procedures including temperature screening, mask policy, and staff were constantly wiping down and sanitizing the play area and equipment. All the staff and visitors were friendly and welcoming. The arcade area has a small carousel which is perfect for little kids, my little ones rode on the carousel probably 10x. We had an amazing evening here and special thanks to Joe the manager who was accommodating and helpful when my 4 year old decided the virtual reality game was not for her. This is a fantastic venue to enjoy movies, games, arcade, kidzone or just let the kids burn off energy with fun activities. We will definitely be back! read more

I finally got to go to this facility and I was quite impressed. The food was very good. The movie theater was a nice place to hang out. The seats were very comfortable. There was a problem with getting the movie started and the manager give us a small popcorn and drink while we waited which was nice. The staff was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about the complex. If I had more time I will be trying to do more activities. I can't wait to go back. read more

This is usually a great place, but we went in today for All You Can Play Monday and it was a disaster. The computer system they use was down and the cards weren't working. We got to play a couple of games before the cards "timed out" and wouldn't work anymore. The staff were great, especially Dynesti, and gave us a full refund but it was very disappointing. read more

This place is amazing! I was in town getting married for the weekend and planned on take some family and guys up here to ride go karts the day of the wedding. A week before the wedding I happen to notice that they switched to fall hours and wouldn't be opening until noon on Saturday. This wouldn't work for our wedding day as we needed to catch a bus at 1:30. So I called up there and spoke with Amy who was so accommodating. Long story short they were able to get enough staff in there to open an hour early so that my group could come in and ride go karts for an hour, before the wedding. They were so friendly and so accommodating, I can't recommend this place enough! I have been a couple times before this trip and it has been wonderful every time, not to mention how comfortable the movie theatre seats are. Been to this theater multiple times last movie I saw was Avatar the way of the water. When we went to see it we ended up with 2 extra tickets they gave us comp tickets to see another movie. When we went to use them the other day was told we where in allowed to use them on the guardians of the galaxy 3 since it's a blockbuster even tho what we saw was but they say it's not. So they want to cheat us out of money now since they decided to change the system... read more

I visited the Compass Entertainment Complex for the first time yesterday (10/04/2020), saw the movie INFIDEL, and had dinner at the Meridian Bar and Grill (the "Drenched Waterman" sandwich). I am so impressed with the beauty of it all. There is lots of attention to detail. It is all very well thought-out, and the staff are peg-the-needle types in their desire to be helpful and of good cheer. If you want lunch/dinner and a meal, and you live in the MP-NN, it is easy to spend money locally and have a good experience, rather than drive to Williamsburg. read more

We often make a day of it: catch a movie -- the theaters have plush electric reclining seats and mini tables -- grab a bite, and then hit the batting cages and go karts. Found compass during our vacation in Heathsville, VA. We had a great time, it was not that busy and we were able to play all the games and complete the activities. Highly recommend the challenge zone, especially if you are with a competitive group! There were hand sanitizer stations throughout and a bottle on each table, staff was cleaning all day too, the place looked great, including the bathrooms! Nice little snack bar with all the movie theatre snacks you want and an attached restaurant if you are looking for a quick snack or meal (we did not try the restaurant). Staff was extremely friendly especially the girl at the front desk who answered our multiple questions about fun passes (wish I caught her name) but in general, all the staff members were smiling and engaging to explain the attraction they were at. It's obviously a little pricey but all these places are, however the prize stations were well stocked and had a nice variety of little toys that kids love, my 8 y.o nephew loved the plastic teeth and unicorn poop prizes haha! I really like the complex and staff BUT the kitchen has problems. The last two times there: brunch and yesterday for dinner. It took ages for the food to come out and when it did it was overcooked and dry. My eggs Benedict had no hame and they put scrambled eggs instead of poached, and they were dry and crumbly. Last night's dinner was equally bad, the Alfredo was dry the beef tips were overcooked and dry. Very disappointing. In both cases the restaurant was busy, so it appears the kitchen staff doesn't know how to manage. read more
