First time here. Stopped on our drive back to our hotel in Bradenton. Glad we stopped for a bite of lunch. Great margaritas. Fins Up!

The seafood accompaniment was adequate and filling. Also had a side house salad, which seemed fresh and also very nice. Good wine selection and I can't complain about the beer that I ordered. If you're comparing to a top ranked seafood restaurant in Miami or Tampa, look elsewhere. The prices were fair and I would probably go back there if I were in town again. The only weird part was the service. It was great for the first 45 minutes and then the waitress just literally disappeared. Mike was gone for 20 minutes until we finally had to ask another waiter for our check. They probably could've gotten me for a few more drinks if they had tried. I was going to get three stars, but I think they do deserve four stars for overall experience.

Upon asking questions regarding the menu, she did not provide answers and was frustrated when one of our party members was not sure what wellness level they would like their fish cooked to, as they had never been offered an option at previous restaurants. No smile, no how are you doing, just frustrated and in a hurry to get it over with. The food was nothing special. High price, low quality. You'd have a better experience going to longhorn steakhouse any day. One person in our party was sick to their stomach later that night. I would not return for a second experience.

Initially, we thought it was just a bagel place. But what a WONDERFUL SURPRISE this place turned out to be!!! It really should be named "Mama's Delicious Food". Because this lady is amazing! She's run this business for 30 years! And has the most delicious food! I ordered cranberry walnut pancakes and she put some fresh bananas and strawberries on the side. The cranberries tasted so fresh. It was positively delicious! My husband had what he claimed "the best omelette ever". It was just a ham and cheese omelette but it was HUGE! He couldn't even finish it!!! I'm telling you.... We will definitely be back before our vacation is over. And we are telling everyone to go there!!!! And the staff - so kind, so nice, I can't say enough good things about this place!!!!!

Waited a little bit before being acknowledged for an order. Got an Everything Bagel with Cream Cheese. The lady at the register was arguing with the other folks about missing utensils in orders. The bagel was ok and came out in a reasonable amount of time. So overall ok food wise but not a great experience / atmosphere. There are much better options in the island,

A lot of the old staff came back, a great sign when we arrived. Tonight's menu felt very similar to pre-hurricane menu. We got two grouper dishes (pecan crusted and blackened over Parmesan pasta) and both were incredible. Added on shishito peppers, shrimp curry puffs, corn bread, and a very unique onion dish that I can best describe as a soup-less French onion soup. Service was excellent, and cocktails were good, if small. My only complaint was that the beer menu dropped off - they used to carry a nice variety on tap and local brews but mostly bland big-name beers now. I'll definitely be back again, glad to have it in the rotation of great local restaurants!

Parking was interesting, offsite, parked my Range Rover between garbage trucks in a spot marked "public works parking only" ..then someone drives you back on a golf cart...outside table next to two people playing reggae covers, it was so loud it made any conversation (even with our waiter) almost impossible. Drunk people dancing & filming themselves. Otherwise, outside would be nice. Table next to us was a group of 5 extremely intoxicated adults w/ a toddler. Unfortunately, food wasn't great - entrees $38-$49 for greasy potatoes, asparagus & a average sized piece of grouper covered in some sort of batter that seemed like a cracker... the entire time, you're thinking ...did this really cost $65 plus salads and drinks came to $195 for two adults -I'll stick to Shore LBK and Harry's moving forward. Better atmosphere with food that never disappoints!

But the loud atmosphere meant that everyone present was enjoying themselves. And soon we'd find out why. We were greeted very warmly by the host and led to our table which was decorated beautifully for my friend's birthday (yay!). We started with the Lamb Chop Lollipops which were amazing! I'd love to have an entree of those babies! For entrees I ordered the burger, which honestly wasn't worth mentioning. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't memorable either. Just a burger. The star of the evening was the Snapper entree. For a little context, we had snapper at another restaurant, which my friend said was very good, but her face seemed only mildly pleased. When she took one bite of the Chateau Anna Maria snapper, she had the biggest smile on her face that she couldn't contain! I think the word she used was 'foodgasm.' I agreed, wishing I'd ordered it too. And if that weren't enough, they brought out a beautiful birthday donut served on its own little table complete with chocolate, caramel, and strawberry dipping sauces. Such a great touch! As we headed out we had some great conversation with a manager and a regional manager who happened to be in town. Both were delightful to talk to. As we exited, one of the bussers was playing the piano in the lobby. Overall a great experience, and we will be back if we're in the area!
