The occasion was unique: it was my partner's birthday, and I wanted to look my best with a professional touch (I've been cutting my own hair and beard for over 15 years). However, the barber (the big gentleman on the end with dreads) did not follow my instructions and trimmed my beard much lower than I desired. Moreover, he inflicted a severe wound on my scalp while cutting my hair, which bled profusely. The wound is still visible the next day, as seen in the photo. I usually keep my head primarily bald, so this was a very noticeable and painful injury. To add insult to injury, the barber charged me the total price and did not acknowledge his mistake or apologize. As a business owner, I know that when I make a mistake, I must compensate the customer accordingly. That is the essence of taking responsibility for actions and ensuring repeat business. This is not a good look. Now, I have to wear a hat for weeks until the wound is healed and my color comes back.

The…read morenice thing is that it was easy to book and their folks were easy going too and helpful over the phone. We booked same day and came in. He got a buzz and the woman who helped him was so nice. The ambiance is super cool, good music (although could be loud for some), the wall has paintings of pictures and graffiti and other and it was just cool, and there were some tvs. My boyfriend goes to the Floyd's in northern glendale or so and he loves it, he goes regularly. That's how we thought to look one up over by us for our friend. His cut was great, the experience was nice, and his man groin was definitely well received. They charge me $13 for a regular fade which is an amazing deal.
