There are recommendations you keep bookmarked in Yelp because of a trusting friend said it was the real deal. Como was one of them. Let me preface by sharing you enter in the dining room and just behind a glass partition are three senior aged ladies working the phone lines taking orders like it was a busy call center. We ordered a Como special large sub and a half anchovy pepperoni pizza, half Como all dressed. The pizza really blew me away. Fluffy soft and crispy dough with some burnt cheese taste on the edges. It was also had slightly sweet flavour which was mildly discernible. Loaded with toppings. Overall one of the best pizza's I've had in the MTL area. The sub was a solid 7.5 out of 10 loaded and with fresh salads and Italian dressing but the pizza was amazing. Pizza was so good I had to order and other to take home. When I arrived home the wife and daughter tried it also and commented how delicious It was. Service was impeccable and we asked our server and she said this was the original location since 1967.they have 15 delivery cars here and the other location has another 15 delivery cars. I live close to this place and I've always passed by first time I tasted it it wasn't good. It was overly greasy, the dreads was dripping from the slice I got. Which was completely nasty and I haven't eaten it for about 4 years. BUT 4 years later I gave it another try and boy am I glad I did! We ordered the seafood pizza, (only 1 size - which sucks) but the flavour was SPOT ON DELICIOUS! 19$ The chicken parmigiana is good the chicken was a little small for the price looked kinda cheap but taste was good The chicken wings were good too ! This restaurant is located pretty far from my house. However I've heard that their pizza is really good. So I decided to try. I ordered takeout at the restaurant. A small pizza, a small spaghetti and a small poutine. All together cost me 33$, which is okay. Good enough for two persons. In general, everything tasted good. The pizza is very crispy on the side and soft in the middle. Just the way I like :) Poutine is just like traditional poutine, taste like restaurant Valentine's poutine. So there was 7 of us for a birthday dinner. I had the pizzagetti and a friend ordered hamburger steak and another ordered chicken strips. Our food came 50 minutes later, other people that came after us were almost finished their food. I had sent my plate back 2 times because my pasta and sauce was luke warm and both times it came back luke warm. Then the order of hamburger steak arrived with French fries and the peas were ice cold. My friend had the chicken strips, it looked like it was off the kids menu. We had also waited over 20 minutes for a refill of water and when we asked 2times they brought the pitcher of water and left it on the table for us to serve ourselves. Also I asked for olives on my pizza and the cook smothered my pizza in them and was incredibly salty. They can over me a lifetime of free food and I would absolutely refuse. NEVER AGAIN read more

Been here so many time and they have the best pizza ever so good that it's worth the 35 minutes drive for me to get there. I usually take the vegetarian pizza, no onions but add bacon. I know it sounds weird but trust me you will love it. The only other thing I ate there are fries so I can't comments on the rest of the menu. The place is clean and the service is always great. Great quality pizza; I've had it multiple times and my staff loves it when I bring some over after a long day of work. They make it fresh and with high quality ingredients. It has a great mix of greased and cheese. I'd highly recommend if you want something more then the big box competitors. I can't believe I had pizza (and hot pot) for Christmas Eve! I wasn't too excited about it until I ate a piece! Thank goodness I had one, I feel bad for the people who didn't try the pizza! This was one of the BEST pizzas I've ever had in my life!!! Before, I find Amelios' Pizza (now called Amelia's Pizza) is the best in Montreal but Como Pizza beats it! I believe the pizza I had was the Spécial Como which contains meat sauce, ham, bacon, onions, mushrooms, pepperoni and green peppers. I normally would get the All-dressed pizza (pepperoni, bacon, mushrooms and green peppers) but adding onions and ham really makes a huge difference in the whole pizza experience! The pizza I had was a take-out so it wasn't (really) fresh out of the oven but it was still delicious! I wasn't expecting this to be that good until I ate it, so I didn't take a picture until I had one bite.. Ooops! One of the things that surprised me was the cheese didn't "harden", even though the pizza wasn't hot anymore. Usually, the cheese would become cold and hard and the texture of the cheese will change (especially since it is a takeout), but I didn't have this problem at all! The cheese was still soft and moist! It was my first time having a pizza with so many layers! By far, the best pizza in the Montreal area. I've eaten there 3 times and never had I been disappointed. Fully loaded with generous toppings and lots of cheese-they're not stingy like sone other pizza restaurants. As for the non-pizza items on the menu: the ribs are good, the fries just OK, the desserts are fantastic, they serve Pepsi rather than Coke! Try their Mexican pizza with double bacon and then see if you can disagree. This pizza has cheese, mushrooms, pepperoni, hot banana peppers, bacon, and a special sweet and spicy sauce that's to die for! The special pizza is pretty good, too. What makes it special is the sauce, which is meat-based and quite delicious. Don't pass up on their poutine, either. Go Italian poutine, or bust. This is hubby's favourite pizza place. It isn't mine. But I think that if you are a cheese lover, then you'll be happy here. Just too much cheese for my liking and not enough of everything else. Plus the prices are a little on the expensive side for what you get. They do get busy during lunch time and it gets hard to find a parking spot. Service is ok but I notice that the table next to us had ordered way before us and was just confirmed that their order didn't make it to the kitchen. I did it. I have shared my childhood favourite with my fellow Yelpers. I have been eating Como pizza since I was 12 years old! We heard neighbours rave about it when we moved to La Prairie so we tried it. And we never turned back! Now, every time I go back home, I make a pit stop at Como. While I have tried many varieties of their pizza and have enjoyed them all, my personal all-time favourite is Como's mushroom and cheese pizza. 1-- because I have a weird love for mushrooms and 2-- because it tastes amazing! Como's tomato sauce is slightly sweet and they put a nice handful of thinly sliced mushrooms under oodles of (greasy), gooey, delicious cheese. The amount of cheese that Como uses is nuts. It's like a normal restaurant's idea of double cheese x 2!!! The pizza is cooked in a wood-fire oven and the crust is floppy and chewy at the base and airy and crispy at the edges. Sooooo good! Mind you, this is not the healthiest pizza but it is the tastiest. Everyone who I have introduced Como to loves it and my partner and his best friend are certified-Como pizza lovers! The only thing that can sate that midnight hunger is greasy pizza and greasier poutine. Hands down, the BEST pizza within the greater Montreal area. You won't find anything better. We live within a 2 min. drive from the restaurant and Como is the only place we order from. Basically the only pizza we ever order is the Como Special. It's basically an all dressed with onions, ham and meat sauce. They just pile on the ham, pepperoni and the cheese! It's not uncommon to find stacks of pepperoni all clumped up! What really makes their pizza though is the dough. I've never had better pizza dough. EVER. It's soft, moist and bready, but still firm enough to hold everything! Another big plus is their poutine. Awesome fries with the RIGHT gravy and quality curds. I do have to admit though that we once got a sub-par poutine. If you order over the phone for pick up, you save the tip and it's 10% to 15% off. They're quick with delivery, and I've never had to wait more than a few minutes when I went to get the food at the restaurant. They recently renovated and the dining room is very nice, albeit very small. If you're in the area or if you live close enough, it's a must try! read more

Not you're low fat thin crust, it is absolutely greasy, has an obscene amount of cheese, the toppings are to die for and the deep crust that is so delicious I could just eat the crust!!!! A piece cannot be simply picked up without making a huge mess and covering yourself with grease so fork and knife are highly recommended!!! Best pizza ever!! Seriously i don't know what they put in that pizza but it's GOOD!! I have tried the following: Pizza , spaghetti , lasagna. All of them were good nothing to complaint about. It was so good that i decided to order some frozen pasta sauce and bring it home and make my mama try it! She obviously loved it ! I had a all dress pizza with bacon. Very good and the waitress was very friendly. I love the fact that they have that retractable table for the pizza very clever idea and every pizza place should have it! The pizza was very good and the bacon crispy. I had a desert which seemed to be fried dough with some sugar and sirop dont remember the name but that was good too. Apparently they open very late since i was there at 2am and they were actually a lot of people still eating there! The guy sitting behind me even told me that they do breakfast :) Good thing i dont live close to this restaurant because i would be super fat by now!
