Academy Mortgage was extremely professional from the beginning to the end. They had all the answers to my questions when it came to my 203k loan where as other mortgage companies had never processed before and wouldn't even consider. They gave a preapproval for someone who was obviously not qualified. We spun our wheels for over a…read moremonth and I paid over $1,000 in appraisal fees and in the end they were not able to get the loan approved. They only look out for themselves. Thy are polite and professional with their words, but they are crap when it comes to looking out for their client's needs. Yes they are great it they can get it to work out, but they don't care about suckering you thin if it does not work out.

When you finally speak to someone they are in the Philippines and barely speak English. You can't speak to anyone in the US. They are pitiful. They were great when they sold me the loan. When I tired to recast it and they already had my money, it was nothing but headaches. They had no trouble receiving my money but always lost forms I sent them. If you call to inquire, you get no answers, just AI or nonEnglish speakers. Thumbs down.
