The only reason why I left Dr. Dory is because she gave me anxiety cause every time I came in there she'd spoke so much about her personal problems involving her pelvic floor, constipation, blood work results and other personal problems. I couldn't even relax for my appointments . I told her months in for treatment that she was giving me anxiety, cause she was talking so much about other people's problems while she was adjusting my back. However, I stopped seeing her , decided to return for treatment to talk to her about her, venting "ALL" her personal problems to me because in all actuality, I didn't care because that's not why I came to a chiropractic appointment. However, we never got around to it. I was scheduled with her a couple times, but as a medical professional patients come first so I had to cancel by calling. I missed an appointment apparently on Wednesday. I never got a reminder text, but she decided to be petty and send me a certified letter dropping me as a patient not having all the information. Instead of calling me to inform me she wanted to act juvenile and send me a certified letter which I will not read because it's very unprofessional!! Actually, she did me a favor because I didn't wanna go in there and have to deal with all of her problems ... she has a new front desk, girl, very aggressive about insurance trying to pinch every penny out of me before I even come in there. THIS LADY RUNS HER MOUTH SO MUCH INSTEAD OF ADJUSTING YOU AND SHE GETS DISTRACTED! I have never in my life received a certified letter because I missed an appointment due to not receiving a reminder. However, one friend recommended me to see Dr. Nick, and he drives 25 minutes to see him! When I first contacted them, I was apprehensive. Chiropractors have various reputations and have been known to just be in it "for the easy money" but I'm going to go ahead and ease your apprehension here. From the very start, any and all questions I asked were answered as if I was the most important person! Not a single "dumb" question can be asked. Great customer/patient service. As far as the process, it's easy. You can download the intake forms, print and fill them out, scan them back in and email them so your first visit is quick and seamless. The first meeting with Dr. Nick is private and comforting; it's all about how he can help "fix" you! I went 3 days before the X-Ray machine was installed, but now they have on-site imaging that helps save YOU money! Once you agree on a plan, you can get to therapy right away with one of his amazing therapists! They're very professional yet personal. They all seem to know your name and seem to truly care! Bottom line: when I come here, the "Cheers" theme song comes to mind. "Sometimes you wanna go - where everybody knows your naaame... And they're always glad you caaame..." :) Also, two weeks into PT and I am already "out of the fog" of neck pain I was in, I am even better than I thought I needed to be (I didn't even know I had limited mobility in certain areas, I just thought it was normal!) and I still have quite a ways to go until my specific therapy is over.
