If you are with your dog friend, there is a dog friendly table in the bookstore right there to use plus two sidewalk tables. To say visiting the bookstore is a treat, is to say the least. Buy a book, a puzzle, so many there, or a child's gift at the rear, will make your day. I subscribe to Daphne Magazine for the art and craft lover in us. Cheers. Enjoy. I've tried to edit "service" as great but it won't adjust so I'm telling you here. Lovely service.

It's not a space, but there are a handful of tables and seating for ~20. Unless you're early, or it's a weekday, be prepared to get your coffee and goodies to go. The coffee is definitely top notch, but it's the baked goods that really wow-ed me. The croissant and pain au chocolat that I had (on two separate occasions, I'm not THAT much of a glutton) were some of the best I've ever had - with wildly flakey, airy and buttery pastry. The pain au chocolat impressed all the more, as any time you put something inside a croissant, it can affect how the pastry cooks, but the bakers at Rise know what's up, and this was no limp, soggy pastry. If you're at this end of PEC, you've gotta be starting your days here, refueling here, or whatever reason you need - Rise is *the* cafe you want to be at.
