They also have a cool waterfront. It is for ages 9-15. It is made up of 52 acres. They have a theater. They also have a garden, tennis court, basketball, gaga ball, soccer field and pizza. I did not like the lunch choices and there were not many lunch options either. I recommend bringing sunscreen, bug spray, a change of clothes and bathing suit. I was at Camp Chingachgook in the very late 50's or early 60's. Three years in all. The scenery was magnificent, the swimming lessons were helpful and the HUGE trampoline was a delight. The food was very good, too. But by far the two most memorable experiences were our overnight camping and canoeing trip on the lake and our lengthy and exhilarating hike up a mountainside on a steep incline ending up in a flowery meadow with incredible views, then back down through a forest. I'm considering a trip back. I would love to know the name and location of this trail. Camp Chingachgook will be a five-star memory for your kid.

I thought that was super cool, and my kids loved it. The gym has high walls as well as a small bouldering area. The mats were a bit harder than what I was used to but nothing to worry about. The service was fantastic, and we were shown how to fall and given all the rules before we started. I can appreciate a gym that is safety oriented. By the time we left it was getting very busy. As mentioned both on the website and in another review, it is a little confusing to find the gym but just keep walking to the back of the Evergreen community center and you'll find it. Something I was excited about for this gym was that it has relatively tall walls compared to what I am used to climbing on, and I was really looking forward to practicing some longer routes BUT there were only 2 auto-belays, which was a bit of a disappointment for me. If you know how to belay and have a buddy, there are a bunch of really awesome looking routes but if you are a solo climber that doesn't want to pay a staff belay, you're kind of SOL. The bouldering area is pretty good but I found myself really limited in what was offered to a not-super-great climber like myself. I also didn't understand the bouldering route system - one of the staff explained it to me and I THOUGHT I understood it, but it turns out I really didn't! Overall, it seems like this gym is geared towards more skilled climbers with not as many options for people like me. I had a good enough time, but it didn't feel like there was a lot of me there. I can imagine that this is an awesome place to go for more skilled climbers!

The Tillerman is located about 5 minutes from downtown Bristol. The restaurant is inside an inn that is popular for their outdoor weddings. +++. Ambiance is idillic Vermont farm inn. Beautiful grounds and surprisingly large restaurant. The restaurant feels intimate as it is divided into many rooms. They have a wood burning oven for their pizzas. We sat in an intimate nook with a view of their front garden. +++. Food is new American and pizze.
