    Patio beers just taste better
    Mike M.

Had never been here before, but based on yelp reviews seemed like a great place to stop and get some tasty beverages. Bartenders were very friendly, allowing us to sample a few beers before we settled on a couple of delicious IPAs! They had some really good selections to choose from! Could have nice looking high ABVs (thin mints!!) but had to drive still so responsibility kicked in. Nice open area on the inside with a couple of video/pinball games, and really nice outdoor patio area with picnic tables as well as four tops all around. Plenty of parking as well, definitely a place we can't wait to get back to you!

Common Dialect Beerworks is the kind of eclectic neighborhood beer bar that perfectly fits the vibe of the area. The space is open and inviting, with tall ceilings, plenty of seating, and a laid-back atmosphere that makes it easy to settle in and stay a while. They brew their own beer onsite, and the selection is always interesting. I had the Chuggin Along - a Baltic Porter brewed in collaboration with Alga Beer - and it was phenomenal. Dark, sweet, smooth, and roasted... easily a 5-star pour. There's acoustic entertainment on weekends, and a food truck is always parked out back, keeping the good times (and good eats) rolling. The outdoor area is a big plus - spacious and relaxed, where kids and dogs can run free while the adults enjoy a few rounds. Whether you're a craft beer connoisseur or just looking for a chill local hangout, Common Dialect delivers.

Hubby and I were down in Tampa for a concert one weekend. We planned to meet up with some friends for a couple beers. I found Common Dialect Beerworks on Yelp, it looked really cool so we headed over. I really liked the laidback vibes in here. Industrial yet still warm and inviting. I ordered a flight and loved all 4 especially the Irish red and the fruited sour. Hubby loved their hazy IPAs. I wish this brewery was open back when we lived in Tampa! We definitely would have been regulars.

We always check on a new-to-us brewery when visiting Tampa and Common Dialect passed the vibe check! Because it was oktoberfest season, we started out with a big mug! It was so chill inside and the music was on point. We brought a deck of cards and hung out here for sometime! I wish we had visited on a Wednesday cause they have emo bingo!! I wish we had Common Dialect in Orlando, cause emo bingo sounds right up my alley. There was a food truck parked outside and we grabbed some fries which was a perfect little snack with our beers!

Against our "household rules" I was able to get a sneak preview of Common Dialect during TBBW as they were having a Zul tap take over, so I promised to stick to only their taps. Ben and I noticed this place while driving by, I must be slipping in my TB brewery knowledge of being in the know of all things new. This is located in the Seminole Heights area which everyone knows is the new place to be and is making wonderful changes to the local businesses around the area. My visit alone was pretty entertaining, to me anyone. I sat at the bar and found it hilarious when some other patrons came in asking for a Miller High Life... the beertenders response was hilarious to me. He was by no mean rude at all, but I just started laughing as it is often a topic of mine and Ben's conversations when people go into breweries asking for that type of beer when I mean, hello it is a brewery. The beertender and I had a great laugh after they went outside to sit and he said it happens more often than you'd think. I just shook my head. When I finally was able to stop by with Ben a few weeks ago, he was excited to see the beer options the had for him and even happier when he tasted it. Always a good sign. For me, they had a raspberry coconut sour and damnit, it was delicious. I love that Ben doesn't like coconut because that means I do not have to share with him. Only bad part was that they didn't have any in cans for me to bring home. Maybe next time. They also have some awesome food trucks on the scene. I have reviewed a couple of the different menus and I can't imagine them being bad, so if you're there before they leave for the night it will be a great night of great beer and food all in one.

Located in Seminole Heights, I've been wanting to try this brewery for a while, finally had the opportunity. I love the space, they have an amazing tasting room, nice and open and brightly decorated. Great colorful murals on the walls. Their beer was great as well, I had a delicious Refractive Error hazy IPA and their Chocolate PB cookie pastry stout was full of flavor. They are open Monday to Weds from 3-10PM, Thursday 3-11 and Friday and Saturday 12PM-12AM and Sunday 12-9PM. They have a small parking lot in front and a larger overflow parking lot across Florida Ave. I will definitely be back. They have trivia night on Tuesdays and industry night on Mondays. They also usually have food trucks as well.

Stopped in here tonight and fell in love. This brewery is new having only opened 10 months ago. The beer was really good and the atmosphere was very nice and relaxed. Matt the bartender was super helpful and was able to guide us towards some beer that was as totally in our lane. We later met Jason one of the owners who struck us as really good at brewing and told us of he upcoming beers that we would be interested in. We really liked the vibe here and will definitely be back.

We tried a brewery that was new to us last night. It has colorful murals on some walls and a lot of seating inside. We met the bartender, Matt and their brewer/owner, Jason. They had a great selection of beers that they had made, and some were collaborations with other local breweries. We thoroughly enjoyed their Dunkels and Festbier. We cannot wait to come back and next time will be sure to bring our puppies.

    Flight with outdoor area

These were my thoughts the day I came in 20 peso - ehh Salamander azul - smelt good Red beer - smelt like fall tasted pretty good would have been awesome if it was chilly outside To wit to who - by far the best. Was like a hazy summer shandy The outdoor area was really chill if I was hungry I would have tried the food truck outside which looked like an Asian fusion. It was extremely peaceful with the rain. The place is really kid friendly but very quiet

Nice brewery in Seminole Heights. I had a delicious Kölsh! Several IPAs were sold out but that speaks to the great grand opening weekend that had at Common Dialect. Well thought out for families and dog friendly...better be since the owners are putting up a dog day care center next door!! We're lucky in Tampa Bay Area to have 60-70+ breweries! This is a great option for those in or who like to hang out in Seminole Heights. Located across the street from Independent Bar. Small brewing facility onsite, 10 barrels. The owners have made friends with many if not all local breweries and expect to see many collaborations there in addition to their own yummy beers. Friendly outdoor space. Dedicated area for a food truck. Plenty of TV to watch sports. Only issue I have is the small parking spots. If you have a large vehicle or like to have plenty of space between your car and the next car over, just park on the grassy overflow parking area. I will definitely be stopping here again when I'm the area. Which reminds me, I've never been to Independent. If I'm this area, I'm usually at Rooster or Angry... next time I'm at CD, I'll also make sure to cross the street to Indy

Out of nine beers, only two tasted good to me. A plus is that they have free 80's video games.

The area surrounding the restaurant is beautiful and makes for a great place to walk around and explore. Once inside, the atmosphere is just as impressive, and thankfully the food, drinks, and service live up to the hype. My dad and I started with the Gator Tail appetizer. Neither of us had ever tried alligator before, so we were really curious to see what it was like. Turns out, we loved it! It tastes surprisingly similar to chicken and was a fun way to try something new. For our mains, my dad ordered their famous Meatloaf, and after trying a bite, we completely understand why it's one of their signature dishes. It was excellent. I went with Barry's Tomahawk Pork Chop, and it was outstanding. The pork was cooked perfectly; juicy, tender, and not dry whatsoever. The real star, though, was the guava demi-glace, which added such a unique and delicious flavour to the dish. The beer selection was great too. I especially enjoyed the Wedding Beer Berry Lager, which was refreshing and packed with flavour. We also saved room for dessert. We tried the Candied Maple Bacon Ice Cream and the Bourbon Butter Cake. The ice cream wasn't really my favourite; I thought the cornflakes were a bit of a strange addition, but my dad enjoyed it. The Bourbon Butter Cake, on the other hand, was delicious and a great way to finish off the meal. Between the beautiful setting, excellent food, great drinks, and friendly service, it's easy to see why Ulele is such a popular Tampa destination.
