I looked around and contacted several different trainers, Jeff responded before anyone else. Although I looked at a few others, I picked Jeff because I just liked him. It was an excellent choice. He is dedicated, he knows so much about wellness and more importantly he is always learning. I can ask anything about nutrition, lifestyle or training and if he needs more information, he finds out and then shares with me. The thing that matters most is that here I am, four months past my big day and I still train with Jeff. I am also so happy to say that my husband was so impressed with what he saw and with what I told him, that he now trains with Jeff too. I have been so impressed with the way in which Jeff has modified everything to meet my husband where he is. A very different place than where I ever was, and the results are already visible. Not only does my husband look healthier, he clearly feels better too. It has been such a positive experience for both of us.

The extent of my exercise may have been walking or hiking once in a while. After turning 30, having 2 children within 2 years of one another, I was unrecognizable to myself. I didn't even know where to start. An ad for Only Results popped up in my Instagram feed and I was enticed by their 6 week challenge program. I signed up, put the work in and lost nearly 20 pounds! I became a member after the 6 weeks was over and always look forward to coming here. If you need someone to show you just what to do, what to eat, hold you accountable and support you, THIS is the place for you! Whatever shape you are in, working with an old injury etc., the work you put in here is adaptable to your needs. I always feel welcome to come as I am, which is often a hot mess after getting out the door from a 1 & 3 year old. They have set class times which is also great for holding someone like me accountable. Highly recommend!

I retained…read moresomeone who lived very close to me and had great reviews, but after a few sessions I realized our schedules were not compatible; I was not getting consistency and reliability from her. It's important for me to make progress with my dog, so I Googled alternate options and stumbled upon Alex's page. I called him on a Friday and he picked up the phone right away. We spoke for a while about my needs and he came out the following Tuesday for what was supposed to be a 2-hour visit. I fell in love with him immediately, he is not only so personable and likable on his own, but he really takes the time to LISTEN to what you need and work on those things right away. I had mentioned my priorities to my previous trainer, but I found that she was teaching my dog commands that didn't actually accomplish what I was after. In our first meeting, Alex worked on SO MANY of my priorities. He got my dog to go into her crate on command, taught her to "stay," showed me how to "walk with" my dog better on her leash, and (using a 30' leash outdoors) started working on recall with her. We were so immersed in what was going on that Alex started to go a little bit over our time, but he didn't want to stop because we were making such great progress. I told him if he wanted to give me a third hour right then and there that I was prepared to pay for it, and he did!! I learned a lot of things from Alex myself during our first meeting, like how to employ the use of "deltas" (which my old trainer never once mentioned) and how non-verbal cues are arguably more important than verbal ones. Again, my old trainer actually discouraged me from using hand motions, but once incorporating them into my routine I noticed that my dog was much more compliant than she had been. Another positive difference between my old trainer and Alex is he really takes the time to teach you why he's doing what he's doing, and encourages you to participate. My old trainer just taught my dog a command and had me replicate/practice when she left. Alex really makes you feel like you are a part of the teaching process. After our private session Alex recommended some "Small Group Therapy" for my pup. He came at noon on a Thursday to pick up my dog and she proceeded to go on a several-hour outing with his two chihuahuas and a dog he was fostering. The entire time he was out with her he was recording and sharing videos on an iCloud album. It was INCREDIBLE to not only see everything that was happening, but to hear him narrate why he was doing the things he was doing. I could not get enough of his videos and felt like I was there during the session. On top of Alex's excellent communication, punctuality, reliability, friendliness, competency, and effectiveness, his rates are OUTRAGEOUS in the BEST way! I truly believe he is under-charging for his services. I can get three hours with Alex for less than I paid for one hour with my prior trainer, and I feel much better about the work that is done during that timeframe. I adore Alex, and most importantly, what he is doing works. He really gets into the mind of your dog, and has such a wonderful way of connecting with them and their needs. I am elated to keep our work going - my pup has lots more Small Group Therapy outings in her future and it's wonderful that I have the option to use him one-on-one to teach her even more commands in the house. One day I hope to move on from essential commands to more fun ones, like "roll over" or "go get X toy."

I was not given a copy of the contract at that time due to a printer issue or something along those lines. I have worked with a trainer before and the trainer taught my dog what I wanted him to learn. SMS only teaches the dog what they want them to learn. The clause about not writing a negative review about them has been removed from their paperwork. As another poster wrote it was there when he went & he is correct. I have heard it from others as well. If you are confident your work is good why would anyone put that in a contract?? What are they trying to hide?? I did ask the judge if I am allowed to post on the net and he said yes as long as what I say is true to my experience. The experience was 100% negative. I took Sal to court. I didn't win becuase all the judge would say is you signed a contract. Yes, but the contract wasn't given to me to keep until months later. Sal admitted changing his website just a couple weeks before he had to appear in court. I find that interesting when he had many month earlier to do it. (he told the judge he did it a couple weeks before appearing) What was he hiding?? Sal-owner showed a video to the judge of my dog behaving. However my dog could do this before he went. He was there to learn other things I needed him to learn. However that was not a part of the mundane, repetitious program he offers. He told the judge my dog was wonderful! BUT he kept my dog in the beginner class (his admission) for 8 months. WHY? No response. If my dog didn't do something perfect I was told to increase the number on the electric collar. As an educator I know negative reinforcement never works and raising it was not the solution. He yelled at me for coming too early but in the contract it states if you are late he will fine you $50.00. He also yelled at me for sometimes leaving early. As an adult I need to make my own decissions and can leave when I want to. His ad said his trainer were certified. They are not. I learned that the hard way by contacting dog training schools (after I left) and was told they require 2-300 hours of training before one is certified. He reworded his ad (as I mentioned earlier) right before we went to court. One female trainer spent 40% of the class time on her phone. I could go on and on but why bother. In closing-I find it comical that after I took him to court he sent me an email to write a review about the company. I wonder what he was expecting. Do NOT sign the contract when you are there. Take it home and read it carefully line by line - word by word (as per the judge). Someone else was coerced into signing and could not get her deposit back even though she contacted them within hours of signing it. Please feel free to contact me if you want to discuss further.

When asked to point out the instructor who gave me the instructions he said I got - he couldn't do it. Of course not, it never happened. Allowing trainers to be on their phone during class time is NOT what I was paying for. I found the program to be very boring and mundane. I do not believe in negative reinforcement to get a positive behavior. Positive reinforcement works much better. I can not in good faith recommend them.
