About 15 hours before pickup, a friend offered to drive me to the airport so I texted Johnny to inquire if it was too late to cancel, fully expecting and accepting that it was probably too late and that I would gladly take his cab ride anyway, as his small business must be supported. Instead, Johnny decided to lash out with sarcasm, costing him my business as well as the future business of the Maine-based organization I am here to work with, once they saw these screenshots. She made the process extremely easy and had the quote to my inbox within 48 hours. I've amended the quote and as always Trudy is prompt, courteous, and reassuring. This move truly is catered to my needs without breaking the bank. They offer full pack services and car moving services (not towing or driving, actually on a truck) and charge by weight, not volume. Our belongings were packed carefully and expeditiously as they brought along about 7 people to help pack our 2800sqft house. The movers asked us before packing items if they had any questions and stickered every item for storage or new living space. They were careful not to ding up the house, they were courteous, and they did a fabulous job. Not ONE item is broken post-move. They went over the packing list with me post-pack to explain cost, materials used, labor, and show a detailed list of what had been packed. There had been a hiccup with our delivery truck due to weather (January in Maine), and they gave us the option of taking everything that day, or leaving us our bed and a few items to then pick up two days later when the truck arrived. We opted for them to take everything as we had an air mattress and enough to get by. I appreciated their willingness to be flexible and that they were sensitive to my emotions regarding leaving our beloved home. When the truck delivered our items, earlier than scheduled, everything was unloaded with care (though I think this was by an Allied crew). Our final cost was $600 less than expected. Woohoo! CMM&S has exceeded all of my needs, and I absolutely recommend them for your moving needs.

The original window was one to three, and then it was changed from 3 to 5 although the only way I found out is because I called. Got put through to the Bangor office, and some guy with a sour attitude had to be coerced into telling me. They finally showed up at six. They were supposed to call 30 minutes ahead of time and I get a phone call telling me the driver is at the end of my road which is a quarter mile away from the house, and how soon can I get there? That caller identified himself as Jeremy and he was just as unpleasant and rude as you could imagine. I can't stand this company.

Wow, Chelsea called this morning to schedule a delivery that was supposed to be delivered today…read more She said that they actually would not be delivering it until Wednesday. Last week I was told today which is why I was home and waiting. I explained to her that I would be out of state on Wednesday. She just kept repeating that Wednesday was the soonest they could deliver. I asked for another day and she just kept saying the same thing and raising her voice and saying that they would deliver Wednesday. She was quite rude and argumentative and absolutely refused to offer any other day for delivery. She then said she refused to deal with me and would transfer me to someone else. I then spoke with Carl, the manager, who very easily scheduled the delivery for next week when I am back. Chelsea should not be in a position where she works with people at all.
