Very friendly Taxi drivers I would definitely recommend them to anybody in the Ellsworth area

This morning I found out that auto parts purchased on the phone from Bangor would not be delivered to my home. With rain and the Ellsworth Auto Mart being 5miles away I was in a pickle. Thankfully. Manda's Taxi was more than happy to roll by and pickup the parts and saved my time and money from a round trip ride . Service was OK. Easy to book as I did in advance of my flight, I called the night before to confirm and called right before I took off as well. Both times I was told I was confirmed. When I landed I found the cab outside and jumped in, we started on our way and had to turn around to pick up another passenger as there was confusion. I shared a cab happily with another passenger halfway and then was told that another cab was going to meet us halfway and take me the rest of the way to my destination. While they were slightly apologetic about the mix up, it was still a full price, very inconvenient ride. I would not take this service again. read more

Very sweet driver and we were happy to support a family business. We had some communication challenges prior to the ride, but they were able to be redeemed with our follow up calls. I'd just make sure to call to verify the ride a few times so that errors can be avoided. I may not recommend this ride service if you're sensitive to the smell of cigarette smoke, but if you are able to handle that, the windows can be rolled down. Mandas Taxi is AMAZING!!! I visited Maine for a few days and realized I needed a taxi from Bangor Airport. When I called I was told there were no drivers left for that night but, Mike customer service is great. He called me back and said the passenger that night didn't mind sharing her ride with me. Luckily our destinations were only 1/2 mile apart. Then I needed a ride to my mom's the next day and they found a way to pick me up within 10 min. When I left I had a reservation to go back to Bangor at 8 pm. But, my mom was tired so I called and he was nice enough to pick me up an hour early and got me to the Airport hotel safely Drivers; courteous, polite, and punctual and I really enjoyed the conversation with my drivers during my rides. Outstanding car service! They are open year round and provided me with a trip from Ellsworth to Bangor for a reasonable price. Ralph is a smooth driver and a good conversationalist, I enjoyed the ride so much I used him a second time for a trip with my 2 year old. Disrespectful and unprofessional. Not fair and talk to us in an angry titled way. Always makes us wait for hours to deliver our food, when we live 15 minutes away from town. They always put us last on the list. They charged my son 1$ every minute he was in tideway. After he paid them 50$ for them to get him on the track rd to tideway and back home.20 miles both ways. Then charged him 10 more because he was 10 minutes. My son has Huntington disease and has problems walking around thinking. read more

I called an three and a half before I needed a ride. They told me they would be there within 2 hours. I waited 4 hours and they never showed up. I would not recommend their service if you are in a pinch. If I could give them a lower rating I would read more

Their phone lines operated later in the evening than other options on Yelp which I appreciated. Everyone we spoke to was very nice, gave very clear directions (I was booking for a friend), and the driver showed up on time. Smooth sailing! read more

Awesome service!! We had a 6 am flight for which we had to leave our hotel at 5 am in the morning. No other taxi service in bar harbor were ready to provide their service so early in the morning. Manda's taxi were very helpful and the owner offered to drop us off to the airport in his private vehicle( as all their taxi's were already booked). We really appreciate their kindness and service to their customers.. Five star service definitely!!! read more

A life saver! Trying to get from Bass Harbor to Bangor Airport to catch a flight. Uber/Lyft NOPE! Other taxi services went straight to VM. Manda's thankfully had a driver close, with a cancelled ride. They re-routed to pick me up. Russ was my driver.
