The worst bank I have ever dealt with. Unfortunately my loan was sold to them so I'm stuck. Their website is archaic and not at all user friendly. Customer service was rude and not at all helpful. Considering how web-friendly all other banks are at the moment, dealing with CWB is like going back to the early 2000's. While I currently have an account with Com-West, I live in Texas and must access my account through my PC. The web site is NOT user friendly.... Many resources/information that were available to me from another lending institution are NOT available now (even when I requested them for my use).... The statement i receive, phone number offered, and website do NOT offer/show hours of operation, thus I had to find it in a google search (and assume moreover) they have the most lax of "banker's hours". Further, it is impossible in my time zone to do certain things when I want without having to wait till the bank is open to call for an associate's help. read more

You know I've had a loan with you all for the last two years and about 4 months ago I started getting notices that my payments were not making it there, now I have a government allotment going to you and when I inquired about it thru DFAS Defense finance and accounting office. They informed me that your bank returned the check and this happened for two months now after several conversations I find out that you changed the account number so I setup a new allotment with the new account number and I guess that fixed the problem so to confirm it was good I called your loan manager and he said that I have a 10 day grace period and if he doesn't call by the 20th of last month I was good to go well the 20th came and went and no call so I thought I was good. Well so I thought so now I got a call today and now all the sudden you did not get the payment. I don't know what's going on with your bank and Im really getting tired of dealing with this underhanded crap. Either fix your problems or we can do this the legal rout. Thank you read more

Went in Irvine to cash in a settlement check but unfortunately, the receptionist said that they don't cash in their OWN issued settlement check. Asked the lady the reason and she said " coz we don't know if the check was already been cash out" WTF is that? Don't they have the syatem to check it? And take note, she didnt even look at the computer, juat looked at the check and said that. O well, never heard of this bank. read more

In addition to just the normal banking activities, which they make incredibly easy, I also have attended their free topical seminars and used their concierge service. Who offers concierge service to all their customers?! Its fantastic! I have banked with various regional banks for a long time before CWBK so I'm not surprised when I experienced that same familiar intimacy with this bank. However, to have the concierge service is a big bank benefit that I've never seen anywhere. I also love the fact that they took the time to give a tour to my daughters to explain how currency gets into circulation and their vaults to take the mystery out of banking in an age where plastic has replaced cash. I had an LOI for 2 commercial mortgage loans from Commerce West bank, but for some reason, applied with another bank and just about 10 days before closing they gave me such a hard time with extra paperwork that they asked.
