Hit me! 21+! I'd like to double down on this place. This is…read morea small liquor store on the side of the highway. It's not exactly the easiest to get to out here, but it did save some time. We came in here and grabbed some rum. They had free ice in the machine outside, which was an added bonus! Their wine selection seemed to be more of the cheaper stuff. Their liquor selection had all the regular favorites, with some weirder cheaper brands that I hadn't heard off. The beer selection did a good job of showcasing some DFW Metroplex beers, and even had some Austin breweries. There aren't many brewery options in Cumby, Tx, but this store sells plenty of beers from elsewhere. This liquor store seems to be a converted home along the highway. You can see how they just knocked the walls out to build out the liquor showroom retail floor. But the back rooms seem to be in use as storage and office space. The clerks were friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. We grabbed some mixers and the free ice, and were on our way!

I use to go here everyday for whatever random stuff I needed from convenience store. I think I will…read morestart going into town instead. They hired a lady @ a year ago maybe two that sometimes you go in and everything is fine, other times the lady is just blatantly rude as hell. Example two days ago I went in got what I needed and went up to the counter. They have 2 registers. Rude lady was counting her drawer so I went to other one. Second lady was ringing me up and I started to make small talk. I.E. how is your day?. First lady told me to hush and don't speak she is counting money.. I looked from lady I was talking to to her and was just like really? And no the lady was not kidding or joking about it. That is just one of numerous things and comments that she has made. I have just decided /shrug I will go somewhere that actually wants my business.
