This time I wanted to take advantage of cashing in some change I saved up. Btw, this branch has a change machine...and I don't know all the specifics, but I am sure as long as you have an account there is no charge. I made it in about 30 minutes before closing time on a Saturday. There were two tellers working and a full drive-thru line and a couple customers ahead of me in the lobby. I had two separate transactions besides the change, and even with a little patience by me on waiting they were happy to help me. I haven't ever rated a bank experience, but the employees working today were both friendly and efficient.

A little later the easily-accessible branch was closed. We're eagerly awaiting the flashy space age improvements... My current issue is that in January, online vendors stopped accepting my debit card that expires in April. Truity suggested I give them my account and routing numbers but that is not easily done online, i.e., order forms want a credit or debit card number. When I pressed Truity, they agreed to send me a new card via 2-day mail. Three days later, the card still isn't here and, since Truity cancelled the old card number, I have no access to my funds. I am 70 years old, don't own a car, and have fallen ill in the meantime. I can't pay for prescriptions my doctor called in. Luckily, a friend was willing to give the pharmacy her credit card info but, still, I'm disappointed with Truity. They assure me the card will be here by the day after tomorrow, a Saturday. Until then, still no access to my money and if the card doesn't arrive on Saturday, I'm screwed until Monday.

And now I am locked out of the banks internet site entirely with no recourse to ever get back on. I live 3 miles from a branch and am 71 years old and probably will not pass the next driving test. Called them asking for a mailed print out of transactions or email of same with no results. VERY UNHAPPY with them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And it seems that the lock out applies to my home internet (or computer) as well as I tried to log on with another valid name and password to my account, and their site still refuses to let me on (is this legal?). And yes I know what I am doing, I have a college education and have been using computers since the 70's. Since I was in the process of setting up retirement accounts, my situation required UMB to monitor freeze my old account and open a new account, numerous phone calls and in person visits. Khara worked with her fraud team to continue monitoring my old account longer than their policy requires because several of my retirement accounts required more time to update that information. The remaining fifteen percent are very much "too cool for school" in that they don't spend the time and energy required to allow you to leave a satisfied customer. Luckily, these people's tenure at the company, or at least this location, seem short lived. Only one location that is rarely open, very slow processing on bill pay, and usually closed for multiple days on holidays. The last item is nice for their employees but not very user friendly for their customers. Finally, heaven forbid you have a savings account that you have not accessed in awhile, they charge you $10 just because you are not active.
