I regret leaving my bank…read more I've paid so much in fees, it's laughable. At my previous bank they would just decline charges and I would get a notification so I could move funds to the appropriate account. Here they will let charges through and charge you an overdraft fee. If you enroll in the overdraft protection it comes from your savings account. However, if you don't have money in your savings account and a request is made your savings account is then hit with a fee. The staff are incompetent both in person and at the call center. You can tell them the issue and all the things you've tried to correct the issue only for them to suggest solutions you've just told them you've already tried and were unsuccessful. If you point out that you've already tried that and was unsuccessful and that you would like a different solution you're told you'll be put in touch with a manager. After holding an automated message tells you there's not anyone to take your call and hangs up. It does not leave you the option to leave a message for call back, it just hangs up on you. Not only is that unhelpful it's also enraging when you're already having a customer service issue. Dealing with main Street credit Union is painful to their point of agony.
