I received a quote from Victor by email the day after I my email request. Mario from Commando arrived on time today. He was very friendly and professional. After listening to my need of having my 2 sewer clean outs to prevent backups (I had a bad one 3 years ago), he suggested a better and cheaper way of achieving it. He also recommended to use a camera to inspect the pipe. He finished in a short time. At the end, I the pipe was cleaned and I learned the condition of the sewer pipe for less money than I had originally estimated. I will call them back again! read more

I called Commando around 1pm with a bad water heater. Other places had told me they could replace it the next day or the day after that. Leo showed up within an hour, called around for a replacement, and installed it that evening. The installation looks really good, and the area was clean when he finished. His price was at the lower end of the ranges that people had quoted me. I am very happy with the result! read more

They did an incredible job at a reasonable price! We had a broken offset mainline under the house with a very tight crawl space. The estimate seemed reasonable so we said go ahead. Commando showed up with three people and all the tools and material to reconstruct a day lighted main under the house, and dig a deep hole to connect to the old main past the break. They worked hard all day and finished early evening. Recently I crawled (slithered) under the house to run an Ethernet cable and was astonished at the amount of work they did. Real professional work. Highly recommend this contractor. read more

A week ago I noticed a fairly good leak coming from the pipes in my basement. This is not ok! My photo albums and old Halloween costumes are down there! Anyway, I call this place up because the name of the business to be honest, and get ahold of Sam, he owner. He is able to come out in an hour, Which is just terrific. He fixed it no problem and the pricing was very reasonable. Sam is a terrific and trustworthy fellow. If you need any plumbing work or repairs done look no further, he will square you away. read more

I contacted Commando to diagnose our leaking dishwasher. Victor (the owner I think) contacted me on a Sunday, just a few hours after I requested a quote through Yelp, and offered to stop by to take a look. He was honest in letting me know that his company specialized in plumbing and the issue could be one that required a dedicated appliance repair shop. Victor showed up the next Monday early within the agreed upon window and quickly determined that the issue was outside of his company's specialties. I was happy to pay him for the visit but he generously refused to accept payment. For such great customer service, I would definitely put Commando at the top of my list for any future plumbing issues. read more

Victor is amazing. Great customer service greet team. Repiped my whole house in one day. We are vary pleased with his workmanship. Thanks again victor! read more

I never leave any reviews before but I have to do this for Commando Plumbing. Victor is so responsible. He came the next morning after I reported a leak in the water pipe that they put in for me few months ago. He tried his best to help me solved the problem and replaced the broken part without charging me. He said that's under the warranty. I am very impressed with his work ethic and definitely will have him take care of all our plumbing repair in the future. Thank you ! read more

Victor got back to me within minutes of requesting a quote, and showed up right when the scheduled appointment was. He did a few tests, and discovered that the leaking wasn't a plumbing issue, but caused by cracks in my tiles. He didn't charge me anything, even though he probably had to take two hours out of his schedule to check. Victor was quite personable, and extremely professional. read more

WOW! I am a big fan of Yelp and saw the ALL 5 stars for Commando. I Called and.....Impressed with fast response from Victor. Then David and Chris came shortly after to install a new toilet. They were diligent in cleaning the area before installation. Heaven know what was living under a 30 year old toilet. They brought a better quality seal. They installed new flex line and valves. They hauled away the old toilet. The guys did such a good job I went through my list of other delayed plumbing problems with David to look over, anticipating another appointment. I had a kitchen sink that would always back up. Dave advised me on some solutions to my problem and take one step at a time. He re-plumbed the kitchen drains that were horribly clogged , installed new better pipes, checked out my garbage disposal to be sure I didn't need a new one. Solved most everything in a day at a very reasonable price. Other plumbers charge monster hourly cost plus travel time. NOT Commando. I especially want to give my money and business to Vets who served our country. I am so impressed with the professionalism, service, courtesy, expert plumbing knowledge and honesty with pricing. Neighbors are always seeking contacts for HONEST services and COMMANDO will be on the top of my list . If I could give 10 stars I would. I will be calling again for further plumbing needs for sure. read more

Our business had a massive plumbing plover the weekend and we were desperate for a plumber to come out on a Sunday morning before we reopened on Monday. Victor replied to me late Saturday night and came in on Sunday morning and saved the day! Highly recommended and his price was very reasonable! He even didn't charge me until he came in the next day to fully diagnose what caused the problem to begin with! Super professional! read more

(for service in August 2016) Sam installed a Toto Ultramax II for me in an upstairs bathroom. The experience was awesome: - Charged for the full job, not hourly, which I find much easier to deal with - Very responsive over Yelp / SMS / phone - Scheduling was simple - Work was good and efficient - He was able to move toilets up and down stairs with no issues (I had other plumbers charge extra for this) Would definitely work with again. read more

Leo at Commando Plumbing came out to my mom's house to do some work on some drainage issues in the kitchen. The situation was more complex than we initially thought due to some shoddy work from a previous contractor. Leo pointed out the details on what was wrong and why, and explained clearly how he planned to fix it. Work was done promptly and professionally, would hire again. read more

OMG, Alex was amazing! I called three plumbing companies, because I had several jobs around the house that needed doing. I was afraid it was going to be expensive, and I wanted to get several quotes. The first company wouldn't come out to look, but gave me a base price of $600 based on my description of the jobs, saying that it could be a lot more than that and would take a minimum of two to three hours. The second company still hasn't called back. Alex was out here two hours or less after I called and took care of all of the jobs in half an hour. Even better, he actually showed me how I could fix one of the problems by myself. And best of all, the price was way less than what the first dude had quoted me. I AM SOLD ON COMMANDO PLUMBING, and especially on Alex!! read more

Leo was the lead for this amazing job. I woke up to a clogged sink, that hadn't drained from the dishwasher the night before. When I expressed my concern about the job, he had the owner come so they could talk it over and modify the work so I would be more comfortable - and saved me some money there. I really appreciate how seriously he took my concern. They did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. Thanks Leo! read more

I own a business so it was important to have someone who was fast and professional at what they do. I had called several other plumbers beforehand, that only requested a photo and quoted me a price without really taking the time to understand the problem that impacted my business. Victor actually showed up, inspected the problem and gave me options on what I could do next, free of charge. He fixed the problem in a professional and quick manner. I couldn't be happier. Strongly recommend. read more

Several months ago, the inlet line to our septic tank got plugged by roots and the system backed up. In the course of getting it fixed, we noticed a large pipe in the crawl space with a 1/2 inch crack in it that was leaking sewage. I asked three plumbers for repair bids. The first two quoted around $3000, not including sheet rock repair and possible stucco work. Michael of Commando came last and to my delight said that repair was not really necessary. The crack was in a vent pipe and would only leak if the system backed up again. The solution then is to roto-root the inlet line periodically which will cost way less than $3000. read more

Commando Plumbing just completed a small job for me. They were very fast, price-competitive, the work was done well, and most important, they diagnosed the problem correctly! Before Commando, two very highly-rated plumbers had mis-diagnosed the problem to be much more serious (and expensive) than it turned out to be. I'm very happy and relieved that I called Commando. I will call them first next time. read more

I had to have it done and ran down the list on Yelp. I got an immediate response from Issac who sent Leo, a very comparable plumber who spelled out the work involved and cost. I opted for just the repair of my kitchen plumbing which he converted from a hodgepodge of different materials. (I'll deal with the garbage disposal later) I'm relieved to say I was able to leave the house with no leaks for my wife who was still at work while I left to visit our granddaughter in Sacramento. Thanks to Commando Plumbing or my wife would have had my scalp. PS. Leo wore socks to cover his shoes which I appreciated but wasn't necessary but it showed me their professionalism. Victor is great. He unclogged a toilet that was giving persistent issues and even evaluated our plumbing system. He provided very reasonable pricing. Sam is top notch. Great guy and great plumber. You can count on him to take care of your problem. Very responsive. We have used him 3 times for different things over the last year: changed a water heater, changed a kitchen faucet and installed a water purifier, and last time (yesterday) a clogged sewage line. Great every time. Highly recommended. read more

Victor came over the same day I called (and on time!) to re-route the plumbing in a family member's water heater closet and he did a great job in very little time. He quickly assessed the situation and gave me a fair price. Any questions I had during the job and even explained what he was doing to make sure we had an efficient setup. He was very polite, courteous and cared about getting the water heater to work with the new plumbing. I will definitely use Commando again. read more

I have a Rheem water heater at home. One day it stopped working and the indicator light suggests flammable vapor sensor lockout. I called Rheem customer support to get the part number and ordered a replacement sensor on Amazon. I installed the sensor but still no luck, no hot water in the house. Then I turned to Yelp for a good plumbing service in my area and called Commando Plumbing. They returned my call shortly after I called and gave me a price estimate over the phone. Not only that, I talked with an expert on the phone about the problem I had. He was very knowledgable and experienced, and very honest about what needs to be done to solve the problem. He gave me many tips how to resolve the issue over the phone, and how much it would cost him to come over and fix it for me. I have always been very curious about fixing things myself, so gave it another try based on his tips. And it worked!!! This is by far the most honest and helpful plumbing company. Next time I have something broken in the house, I would definitely hire Commando to do the job for me. read more

I wanted to give Victor a high rating for fixing our re-circulation system. His crew showed up on time on the scheduled day and all seemed in good order when he left. However, the sensor Victor put on the system to regulate the pump was not working properly. I have called Victor three times and left messages asking him to come fix the problem. He has not returned my phone calls and, now, in addition to the sensor not working, we are experiencing increased pipe noise which Victor supposedly fixed. I'm sad to say that I cannot recommend Commando Plumbing for plumbing repairs. read more

1.5 years ago my kitchen drain was clogged up. I called up Commando after 3 different plumbing services had come to the house and given me all types of excuses for not being able to fix the problem. Victor was the only one with the initiative to get under the crawl space and figure things out, opening the pipes at different points to see where the blockage was, and then actually snaking the tube clean from under the house. Through-out, he kept a positive attitude and was very professional. Would recommend him for any tough job! read more
