Dr. Danzi and Dr. Hajduk are both excellent doctors. I would highly recommend them to anybody. They listen very carefully to your concerns and you can ask them anything. They always take their time for you and they always talk very sweet with my baby. They both really do care about your child. The staff is always very nice and welcoming. The office is nice and clean and they have separate rooms for sick children and for nursing moms. And they are always able to provide you with samples so you can try it first like formula or lotions. There is never a long wait time. They work perfectly on schedule. They are always able to give you a appointment on the same day if you have a sick child. read more

I took my child here for 3 years back in 2006. I liked one doctor more then the other, but once she got pregnant again and again it got worse. Then the other doctor got pregnant. After that the office hours were minimal and I never got responces to my calls. The last straw was when the teenage receptionist called in an incorrect dosage of my child's medication! Thank goodness the pharmacist questioned it! I called and wrote to alert the doctors of this mistake and they never responded. Do not use them! read more

We switched to this practice last year and couldn't be happier! The office is clean and up to date. There is a sick and well waiting area (our previous pediatrician didn't have that). We've seen both doctors with our kids and they were both excellent. The front desk staff was great - especially that they had to take the time going back and forth with our prior pediatrician because the immunization record was so illegible. The medical assistants have been very friendly too, they make my kids feel comfortable and they take their time. We're very happy to have switched over, we feel like we're in good and very capable hands. read more

We two sons who are now 15 and 14 have been patients of Commack Pediatric Partners for 4-5 years now. We are very pleased with all our experiences. Quick waiting time, timely appointments, proper diagnosis and quick turn around on required physical forms for camps and school sports. Both physicians are a pleasure to deal with. I don't understand the negative reviews. I have gotten calls back from the MDs within an hour. I've gotten many same day appointments. They are thorough in examining my child and both doctors have great bedside manners. From what I have seen and heard, most of the people who have had issues with this office have had billing issues and it's often an insurance issue, not an office issue. I have never even had an issue with their billing. I met one mom who complained because she brought 4 children in on the same day and she felt that they should not have charged 4 co-pays. That's a ridiculous complaint. The doctor saw 4 patients. read more

We had recently moved to the area and was referred to Dr. Christine Danzi's practice by our previous pediatrician Dr. Gregory Martocci from Garden City. Dr Danzi barely answers your questions, always wants to rush you out the door or at least makes you feel that way - chop chop, next patient please! The office in general looks nice and clean, their staff are unprofessional an incompetent, especially the billing department which they over charged us once in the past and later credited us back. (I think they only have 1 secretary that wears many hats and does everything herself). Last incident we had, our daughter went in due to her stating she had a head ache, stomach pain, and coughing, which in the past has been signs for my daughter getting strep (which she gets frequently). Dr. Danzi took a rapid strep test which came out negative, however a swab sample was sent to the lab for culture test. Two days after sending the sample we have yet to hear back from the doctor's office regarding culture test results. My wife kept calling the doctor's office every day to inquire about results and secretary kept saying results are not in and to our surprise offered to write a script for antibiotics for our daughter to take. So 4 business days later my wife gets a call back from the doctor's office stating the results for culture test was in that our daughter tested positive for strep throat infection. I called doctor's office twice and demanded to speak to the doctors to find out why it took them 4 days to get results, but the secretary refused to transfer me over to the doctor and stated this was a lab related question and told me to call the North Well lab at 516-719-1100 (secretary possibly trying to cover up their mistake). I called North Well lab and was told the reason for the delay was because during the collection the person who took out the sample swab for the culture test miss-spelled our daughter's name and for that reason the lab could not process the sample in time with the incomplete name. At this point, my daughter had been attending school, gone to public places and possibly got other kids infected because of their mistake. We also have a year-old baby which despite keeping him away from our daughter now shows symptoms of strep. Stay away from Dr. Danzi's practice and their incompetent staff and find better doctors who actually care about your kids well-being. Dr. Ann Hajduk-Bennett who is in this practice is great, we love her! She is very professional and she takes the time to address all your questions and concerns without rushing you out the door. She is thorough in her appointments especially with infants she provides written information on their weight, height, and lists all the vaccines child receives and the dosage if needed to take fever reducer medications. This is a great help so that you know what to do. Dr. Hajduk always calls back whenever you need her help after office hours. read more

Not sure where all these reviews came from, but my experience has been all good. My son is soon to be turning 4 and we have used Dr's Danzi and Heijduk for the entire time. From the first visit at the hospital, right up to last years well visit, both Dr's are great. They are both different (duh), and have different personalities and personas, just like all people, but both are very knowledgeable, and incredibly easy to work with, eager to answer questions, and are responsive to calls,, messages etc. Last year when we accidentally gave our son, what we thought was too much OTC medicine, we called the office in a bit of a panic. We got their service as it was after hours, and sure enough, we go a call from one of the Dr's within a half hour, calming our fears. Any assistance with paperwork for vaccines for school/camp can be faxed over, and they are accommodating with that as well. The office is nice and new, well lit, and enjoyable. Just need more Butterscotch pops! I'm not reviewing the office staff as I don't know them that well, nor would it be fair. You can always run into some bad apples on any given day. Keep in mind, you are not choosing a pediatrician based upon their office staff, rather the care for your child once you are there. Some of the office staff have been "kids" who might not understand the mindset of a parent with a sick child. Until you have a child, you can't. There has been some frustration with relaying messages back and forth to the Dr, but that's about it. If you have/had a issue with the staff, and you feel that strongly about it, mention it to the Dr's instead of writing on Yelp. Pretty simple stuff. read more

We did not enjoy our experience here. The office is somewhat difficult to locate in the building. The waiting room doesn't have any toys or anything for the kids to play with. It took 30 minutes past our appointment time for my son to get a flu shot, and the Dr. was not pleasant at all. I wouldn't recommend this place. read more

This is the best pediatric office on the island!! These doctors truly care about children. They are great diagnosticians and are both moms themselves. That is the perfect combination. My children have been patients here for years and I couldn't be happier. WE went to several pediatricians prior to CPP because we were moving around a lot at one time. I have never been so impressed by the physicians in any other practice. I can't help but notice that all these negative reviews seem to be venting and have an axe to grind!! I went back and forth several times, debating whether or not to write this review, but seeing two other negative reviews just confirms that my experience was not singular. I understand that all doctors are different, but I often got opposing views from both doctors regarding feeding and child care, which can be very confusing. One doctor is very laid back, the other is an alarmist who made me feel that my child was developmentally delayed because she wasn't interested in table foods at 9 months. Their office staff was nice and polite but I was often kept on hold for way too long and eventually hung up on. It sometimes took over 24 hours for a doctor to call me back after a message was left. The last straw was this past March. I had an 8:30am appointment that was scheduled by one of the doctors - I did not request that time. The receptionist did not arrive to open the office until 8:45am and had me fill out paperwork. At 9:10am I asked her where the doctor was and it wasn't until that time that she informed me that the doctor was sick and would not be coming in at all. I was livid. I requested that she mail me my childrens' records and she took down my information and address. A month passed and I still did not receive a bill or my children's medical records. I am so done with that office and I would never recommend them to anyone. read more

Great experience until one day... I was recommended to them by a friend when I had my first child. Everything was great. A year later I had my second child again great. Everything was for years. I was patient with the call backs and overall was happy with them. I even dealt with the $15 charge they have for filling out school, athletic or camp medical forms. Then one day my kids had their yearly well visits. Same visit, same day, even at the same time only to get a bill for one kid and not the other. I called and questioned the bill. I was told by the billing department that the insurance wouldn't cover one of the tests. I said well how come they covered it for one child and not the other. I called the insurance to complain. The insurance told me that the office billed it differently and that they should resubmit the bill with the correction. Called the office back and told them that. They told me to get proof. I told them I most certainly will not and they should just swallow the mistake or fix it and resubmit. They refused. Well I refused to pay. A few months went by and my child got sick and needed to see the doctor immediately. The receptionist said that they will not see my child until I paid the $15 plus the late fee that it had now incurred. My husband said its again the doctor's Hippocratic oath to deny treatment and probably some laws. They finally saw my daughter and gave her the medicine she needed. My husband was told that he was not allowed in the office because the doctor felt threatened by him. All nonsense as he's one of the calmest person ever and never raised his voice. Ultimately we paid the charge but never returned. It left such a horrible taste in our mouths and we felt that such a great relationship was ruined by the billing department. In the end we feel that they never actually really cared about our kids and it was all fake for money. read more

If it were possible to give places negative stars I would. One of the doctors is top notch but the other is terrible. And the billing practices drove us away after being clients for six years. Make sure you check with your insurance on every bill because they will try to bill you for stuff they shouldn't. read more

I have to admit I'm surprised by the negative reviews given for this practice. I have been taking my son to Commack Pediatric Partners for two years and have now started taking my newborn daughter as well. Indeed, both doctors have different personalities and approaches, but I feel that actually balances things well. Each one adds a different perspective to any given medical situation. Both doctors have always treated my son with kindness and I do trust them in their judgment. Commack pediatric partners was recommended by a friend, and ever since I switched, I've had great experiences. The front desk/receptionist is friendly and helpful, and they have always taken my son in right away when there is a need. We've only had Dr. Danzi so far, but she was terrific - friendly and great manner with both of my boys, putting everyone at ease right away. I have had nothing but positive experiences with both of the physicians at this practice. They truly care about the health and well being of my children. They have returned phone calls the same day within an hour or 2. They take their time with us and always answer any questions we have. They both have very nice personalities and are very easy to talk to. I wouldn't consider taking my children anywhere else. read more

I have been going to this practice since my son was born almost 6 years ago. They were actually referred to me by my obgyn. I have now two kids-my daughter is 4. I have actually had a very different experience with the practice from what I have read so far. I have seen both doctors on many occasions-including just this week. From a positive side I would say they have always called me back immediately, they always fit me in the same day when I call, they always follow up to see how my kids are doing. I also like that since there are only two doctors in the practice that they actually know my children and remember the important stuff. Sometimes with the bigger practices--you feel like they have no idea who you are. I have also called in the middle of the night and they have instructed me what to do with no problem ever. The two doctors are different and have their own style but both work fine to me. I have never received differing opinions on care. They are still both great at what they do. The only negative I would say is that they have had some issues with the billing people. Many times I have had a concern but when I brought it to the Dr's attention, she totally apologized and said she would take care of it. Not only that, she remembered the next time I was there and said she had addressed the issue. I thought that was very cool. She didn't need to do that. I have not had any problems since then and that was over a year ago. Oh and by the way, their new office space is beautiful. read more

Wow, looked up online for my doctors phone number and I stumbled across these reviews and Felt the need to add my opinion. I have been using this doctors office for almost 4 years. I have never had a problem! The doctors have always been attentive and informative. We have always gotten calls back If we had an after hours concern. We have always gotten appointments when we needed them. The staff has always been friendly. We even had an issue with our insurance with my oldest and the office staff helped us work it out. Even the receptionist (who has since left the practice) whom everyone here seems to have had a problem with, was very nice to us. I don't know where all the negativity is coming from but we've always had good experiences with this practice. read more

After using these doctors for over 4 years we only have a great things to say about this practice. Any negative reviews surprise me, if there were issues with receptionists or billing we never noticed because they have always been very professional. The receptionist they have now is excellent. She knows who you are and who your children are as soon as you walk in. If you have any questions she calls you back as soon as possible and is very attentive when you need her. After being a loyal patient to this practice for 9+ years, we've finally took the initiative and sought out another pediatrician practice. The doctors themselves are adequate but the support staff and office are nothing short of awful. Their billing practice was the last straw. We haven't so much as had one single balance owed and yet their billing person clearly made an error and refused to remove the late charge and return 3 messages I left. So my son comes in with fever and sore throat and the office refused to let him be seen till this late charge was removed. That is unconscionable and of course we couldnt discuss this with anyone cause the billing person was not due back till Wednesday. The staff I've also found to be rude on a number of calls. And of course the doctor never calls back so who knows if they are getting the messages. And if that isnt enough, the waiting room has 8 chairs. The wait time usually ranges anywhere from 30-60 minutes. So there you are standing up with your sick child in dismal and packed waiting room the entire wait. There are way too many pediatricians out there who can easily diagnose strep or ear infections to put up with this office. Took all of a few minutes to locate the pediatrician we found who's staff is responsive and friendly with office hours much more conducive to parents read more

Typically I'm not a review writer, but I noticed some really old reviews here and I thought it was time for an update. I have taken my kids to Commack pediatric partners since 2006 and I am very happy with the Doctors there. The receptionists that are currently working in the office are pleasant and professional and the billing procedures have been drastically improved. Aside from all of that, I like the Doctors! They are both moms with young children. I like that they not only see my children as patients, but as little kids just like they have at home. They give you their medical knowledge as well as their honest opinions. They don't just read out of a textbook and tell you what the latest study is. I would recommend them to anyone and I have friends who have switched over to them and are also happy. I hope those old, negative reviews don't discourage anyone from checking out this practice. read more

Wow, I am absolutely shocked by previous reviews. They have been our pediatricians for eight years, since our first child was born, we've had another two children since and they have been nothing but fantastic. The office staff comes and goes, along with those issues, but still I've never waited more than ten minutes for a callback. It is true that one doc is laid-back and the other tends to handle issues more aggressively, but I've never found their actual medical advice to be inconsistent, just their personalities and approach. They both picked up on my middle child's speech delay at nine months, though one appeared more worried about it than the other. We got her into early intervention as a result and she is doing very well. It's odd that the previous reviewers all live so far away from the office, maybe they've all moved very recently, but none are local addresses. Everyone I know locally who uses them seem to feel the same as I do when we talk pediatrics. They do call to check on the kids when they're sick, I can't see how that is a bad thing... And we've never had billing issues, so I can't speak to those. read more
